Florida - Nov 1, 2015

In attendance: Astrid, Frank, Jackie, Jeff, Gloria, Nelson, Rafael, and Santiago

 

Nelson mentioned Dave, his neighbor who passed during the week, and he hoped that his transition would be clear.  He also mentioned Marta from Argentina, who has been suffering with recurring medical issues with one of her legs.  Both Jackie and Astrid saw that a hip replacement was needed. 

 

Nelson asked Jackie about being raised on a farm.  He wondered if there were any black workers around her (there were).  Jackie and Astrid thought Nelson was sensing a previous life; where Jackie was killed because she tried to teach a slave to read.  The spirit insisted that he was from this lifetime.

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  The spirit was black and very tall, with a stiff, formal posture.  He worked for the people who owned the farm, maintaining the barn and the property.  He kept saying the letter "A" to Nelson, and when Jackie heard this, she realized it was a childhood friend who was called "straight A".  He was around Jackie because he needed help, but he also wanted to help her with a toothache remedy for pain. He always wondered what happened to the kind little girl who was nice to him when the others were not.  This spirit believed that if his two daughters would have gone with Jackie, "she would have done them proper."

 

Spirit: I always knew.  I knew there was something better.  I knew I was dead, because my body didn't hurt.  Where do we go now?  I needed to find Miss Jackie to guide me.  I'm so happy I found her!  I knew there was something better.  You didn't leave (the farm) because you wanted to.  I remember you said, "I don't want to leave you alone."  You told me, "Keep that smile and it will take you places".  I kept it, even when it was hard. Where do we go now?

Jackie: Someone will be here to take you.

Spirit: And all the others?  You've changed, but I found you because you are still the same little girl I remembered.  I went to look for you and I found you in pain, Miss Jackie.  I didn't like that.  When we had those teeth problems, we used hot water and a cactus plant (aloe).  Just cut it and peel it, put it on, and it will help.  We couldn't go to a doctor, we had to pull our own teeth out, you know that.  It helps the pain.   (pause) There is a nice man here - very nice - who tells me she already did what I said (Jackie agreed as her pain was abating).  It was me telling you.  I am so happy.  Now he said he will bring some friends from the old place.  I can stay here.  (pause)  What happened to your mom?  I liked her.

Jackie: Mom really liked you a lot.

Spirit: She would give us things, at night.  I wanted to thank you for all the good things you did for me and my family.  I said I was not going to cry.  (pause)  But she (his wife) is not going where I'm going.  I'm not going to cry.

Jackie: You know you are a spirit, and she doesn't know it yet.  But you can help her.

Spirit: She's still angry.  I let that go a long time ago.  The man came back!  So fast.  Look who is here!  My friends!  You don't know how much this means to me, Miss Jackie.  We will see each other again.  It's 24 slaves, but I am not a slave, I'm separate.  I am going to leave you with my smile. 

Jackie: You might want to look for mom.

Spirit: Your mom is where I'm going?  I'm going to look for her!

 

Nelson said he envisioned this spirit sitting next to Jackie when she arrived.  Nelson also knew that one of his daughters was still alive.  Before the session. Nelson was directed to read a selection from Kardec's The Spirits Book, but this spirit was so insistent, Nelson only remembered the reading now.  The title was "Forgetfulness of the Past".  The reading was a response to Question 392:

"With each new existence a spirit becomes more intelligent, and better able to distinguish between good and evil.  Where would be his freedom if he remembered all his past?...He comprehends the justice of the situation which is assigned to him, and he then seeks out the new existence that may serve to repair the mistakes of the one which has just passed away."  Nelson understood that "straight A" came as a servant because he wanted to go through the life he led.

 

A spirit wanted to remind Jackie about the urgent need for her niece to see a doctor.  Astrid had a question about abortion, and Nelson (speaking through his guide) said that the spirit knows it will reincarnate, but the spirit is not completely attached to the body until it is born into the material world.  If the mother changes her mind and aborts the baby, the spirit is removed - and in pain.  This situation is what happened to Jackie's niece.  The father changed the mother's mind about the baby, and the pain of that spirit had turned to anger.  He is still angry, and it has led to many of the problems in that family - including prostate cancer.

 

Spirits 2 & 3 (via Nelson):  Nelson's spirit guide was now with us, speaking directly to the group:

Caballito (for Frank):  Did you have a good vacation?  Did you follow the instructions that you were given (not to dwell on memories of his girlfriend)?

Frank: The subject did come up, but I didn't let it ruin the vacation.

Caballito: And now you feel good?  Keep doing what you were doing up there - be active, exercise - and you will keep feeling good.

 

Caballito (for Rafael): Did your ex-wife have an abortion? 

Rafael: Not that I'm aware of...

Caballito: Before you were married.  It was your child.

 

Caballito moved back behind Nelson, and Nelson began to see the spirits of many aborted children in the room.  There was the one with Rafael, and the spirit of a boy looking at Jackie.  Caballito told us that there were unborn spirits from almost everyone in the room.  All of them were angry and confused over having to get back in line to be reborn again.  In a previous life as a female, Jeff also had an abortion.  Caballito sat briefly and said, "Jeff, you were one of the lucky ones.  Your son found another way to be with you in this life because he wanted you to be happy.  Enjoy his visit next week."  (Meaning that Gabe was the aborted child from Jeff's previous lifetime)

 

The spirit of the aborted boy who was connected to Jackie was wondering, "Why not me?"  There was a pattern of abortions in Jackie's family, and all of these spirits were mail.  "No one is clean," Astrid said.  The boy spirit believed that Jackie regretted not having him, and whenever he was near her now, she cries for no reason.  The spirit moved into Nelson to speak:

Spirit (looking at Jackie):  She had a chance, and she said no.  She could have gotten pregnant again. It's easy for all of you to say, 'accept, accept' but it's not easy!  It's a long wait, it won't be fast.  I already went there, and I don't want to do it again.  I have been waiting and waiting, next time, next time.  I have to go back now and I don't want to do that (crying) but it's the only way.  I told them I would do it if they let me say goodbye.  I came in angry, but now I am sorry that you couldn't be my mom.  I have to go back and I will wait and wait.  Do you know what that is like?  You see the others leave, and you are still there waiting. 

Jackie: The list gets shorter with each person who leaves

Spirit: I wanted to say goodbye because I am sad that I am not with you, but I am not angry.  I'm lucky that I can say goodbye, the others are not so lucky.  I got to say goodbye to my mom. (pause)  I have some learning to do, but I will be at front of the list.  In my own way, I love you.  I gave you a kiss before we came in here today.  There are 17 of us, the unborn...

 

Nelson's spirit guide spoke from a position behind Nelson.  He wanted mothers to realize that they cannot blame the fathers.  Once the mother accepts responsibility for the new life, in that moment, the spirit arrives.  "If you have already said yes, do not say no." 

 

Caballito also wanted to talk about some spiritists (or at least they call themselves that) who think that the books need to be updated or revised.  The answers are already there.  They are wrong to push a "Spiritist Renewal" - which is a term we will begin hearing soon (it has already started in Brazil).  Caballito sat through Nelson to speak directly to the group:

 

Caballito: They want to change the basis when they cannot even do the basics.  They would put this back 100 years instead of forward, to promote the books, not the mediumship.  They want to make it a secret again.  Even we are not allowed to work there.

Jackie: Only the "elevated" spirits can sit...

Caballito: Even me, I am not elevated enough.  When they come with these ideas, tell them to return to the real books.  These groups wonder where they have lost touch - as the things they liked to do are not happening now.  The miracles are not happening because they have moved away.  And they are not miracles, just extensions.  They will knock on your door, wondering why your group is different.  Answer them that you are doing things the way it should be done.

 

Caballito (for Nelson):  He is so stubborn.  He will not change and let me sit.  He wants to listen.  Even when he reads it later, he tells me that.  You have heard him say that a new spiritism is coming.  There should be no rituals, questionnaires, or the reading of 24 books - we only ask that you become a better human being.

 

Caballito (for Astrid):  It's hard for your daughters to listen, and know you wonder, "Why can't they understand me?"  All you ask is that they listen and follow through.  Keep at it, sometimes they need to hat the ground they walk on very hard before they will believe.

 

Caballito (for Nelson):  He is always in a hurry, so I had to come because I wanted to take the time to explain.  If I ask him, he will say, "I'm not doing that" (because he does not want to hurt any feelings). 

 

Caballito (for Rafael): You want to know when your life will go on track?  When you put yourself on track.  Don't ask for those others when we cannot do for our self what we need to do.  That is what you need.  Get it for yourself - you - not your parents or your ex-wife.  Think what you need to do to get your life the way you would like to have it.  If you need help, let me know - don't ask Nelson later, because he will not know.

Rafael: Just nudge me a little if I need it. 

Caballito: You already know what to do if you have to ask.  When I told Frank that he would have a good time, he thought, "Well, we'll see about it."  We see it all, we know what you are thinking.  Have nothing to hide, and you will be okay.  Ask for help, and if you observe someone needing help, then help.  You don't need to change the books for that.  They want to change this and make it human.  I go to meetings and shake my head.

Jackie: the truth is the truth.

Caballito: I have to thank him (Nelson) for letting me do my job. 

Jeff: Thank you for making him less tense before the session.

Caballito: We are working on that, how he can learn to manage it.  I can't do it for him.  He wants to know immediately (about a spirit).  He calls me, but I can't help him figure it out.  He needs to learn.  Life is not easy.  I remind him of where we came from and he is happy again.  (to Jeff)  And that's not the right way, tell him that.

 

Caballito (for Astrid):  When you are in the spirit world and your daughters cannot hear you, then they will say that they wish you were with them.  Things will get better, results are coming.  But they are not immediate.

 

Caballito (for Jeff regarding Gabe's visit):  If you have to tell him that something is wrong, say it. 

Jeff: When I was planning this trip, you told me, "You expect 100 roses.  But isn't 70 roses still better than no roses at all?'' 

Caballito: It will be 100 roses.  But if you have to tell him something is wrong, say it.

 

Caballito (for Jackie): Are you okay, are you happy?  (she was)  So is your mom.  Finally that secret came out.  It was time, as it was harming her unnecessarily.

 

Caballito for all: The happiness I want all of you to have comes from within.  God bless you all until next time.

 

Jackie closed with a prayer. 

Chicago - October 4, 2015

In attendance: Alex, Bernardo, Carmen, Denise, Emiliano, Erika, Esperanza, Gabe, Isabel, Jeff, Juan, Juanita, Maricela, Marisol, Nelson, Ron and Sonia

 

Nelson sensed a large gathering of spirits in the next room.  The spirit side was happy to see everyone in our group so content, and they had assembled this large group to observe and participate in our session.  A spiritual "take-a-number" machine was being used, and one spirit was very pleased because he arrived early and received the number one spot.

 

Marisol received a message for Jeff regarding his mother.  She should not be living alone.  It would be better is she moved to an assisted living facility.  Her current conditions made her angry and resentful.

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  Nelson explained that the spirits with HIV/AIDS who were with our group on Wednesday had returned.  Marisol said she was fondly remembering the patients she had interacted with over the years on her ride to the center.  "If I knew what I know now," one of the spirits said, "I would have never done what I did.  I had a fulfilled life, so don't feel sorry for me.  I am happy because I no longer have it (the disease) any more.  Thank you to the material world for understanding and the spiritual world for replenishing us.  I have something else to feel good about - I was the one who picked that number one!  I sent the others home (on Wednesday) and I stayed here to get the number one.  This was the way we decided to go.  We are happy.  We have many who want to thank her (Marisol) as she was very kind to us - always kind.  It was a lot of work to get here.  It's sad to think that some are still suffering and being discriminated."

Marisol: It's ignorance.

Spirit: Tell him (Nelson) that he was also kind to us.  He did not deny me will all of my marks (on the skin) that I have.  Thank him for that.  Some of Jeff's friends are also here with us.  One of his good friends said that Jeff made him laugh more than anyone else.  He thinks of those memories when he feels sad.  We will go to different places - a hospital, a school.  As for me, I am coming back (reincarnating).  I don't know if I should be happy or not.  All of us, we thank you.  There are 327 of us.  If you meet anyone like us, give them a hand to help them.  I am a simple, quiet man, and I am so happy now.

 

The spirit left quietly.  Nelson understood that Carmen had been thinking about her mother.  "Don't think that a relationship ends," Nelson said, "because they can always find a way to communicate with us."

 

Spirit 2 (via Nelson):  A spirit was arriving and she was Carmen's mother.  She said that she was racist in the material world, and now she regretted it.  The spirit shared some other thoughts:

- Her sense of humor was unique, and she did not like to be corrected.

- Feeling inferior was one of her faults (and she did not like it).

- Carmen's father was in the spirit world, but she has not looked for him, because she felt that he always wanted to change her.  She knows where he was, but she doesn't want to go there.

- Carmen is more similar to her father than her mother. 

- In the spirit world, life and love are all that matters.  Carmen was encouraged to embrace those qualities.

- The spirit had learned a lot about prejudice and loving others.  She did not want to see Carmen feeling sad.

- Carmen may think that she is resolving the problems of her family members, but instead of relying on her, everyone needs to find their own happiness.

- The spirit did not like Bernardo at first, but now she loves and protects him.

 

The spirit thanked our group for allowing her to speak.  She encouraged Carmen to stay on "this beautiful path, and one day we will meet again - not as mother and daughter, but spirit to spirit.  I am always here to give you advice if you want it."  The spirit hugged herself and softly said "love" as she left.  Nelson told the group not to worry over those who have passed, because they were where they needed to be.

 

Spirit 3 (via Marisol):  Marisol wanted to return to the situation with Jeff's mother.  She saw their relationship as tumultuous and strained, "almost as if you were not her son."  (Jeff agreed)  A female spirit moved forward to sit:

Spirit: He is not her son, he is my son!  That woman is not your mother, she's a witch!  She doesn't care about you.  I watch over you, and I am your mother.

Jeff: I get concerned for her...

Spirit: You don't need to do anything for her.  (to Nelson)  I don't like you, either.  He is my boy.  I protect what I love, and no one else will do that for me.  That woman is a no good.  She doesn't see you as a son! 

Jeff: You were my mother in a different time.  It's over now.  Look at me, I'm different.

Spirit:  How can I leave what I love?  That witch doesn't love you.  It's confusing me.

Nelson: You have been doing this for so long that you have forgotten who you are...

Spirit: I was watching him and he died - it was all my fault!  I never got over his loss.  Now I see her with him and I don't understand why she doesn't love him, and I feel sad.

Jeff: They will take you to a place to understand all of it.  Take care of yourself now...

Spirit: I can go and you will be okay?  It is time for me to go to a place where I can heal.  I need to leave so she can see him as her son...

(The spirit clapped three times and said goodbye)

 

Spirit 4 (via Carmen):  Another spirit stepped forward and she was the grandmother of Maricela.  Her message was brief, but reassuring:  "Thank you for coming here, I am happy you came.  They took you away from me, but when you call for help, I am there to help you.  You always ask for me, and I help you.  You will never be alone, as I am always there protecting you and taking care of you."

 

Marisol cautioned Marta (from Argentina) not to have the surgery that she was considering (Carmen and Nelson agreed).  Marisol advised that a cortisone shot would relieve the inflammation she was experiencing.

 

Spirit 5 (via Nelson): Nelson was studying a confused spirit who did not know who she was.  The spirit was arguing with herself, as if she had two faces. The spirit was influenced by the behavior of Gabe's mother, and it was affecting Gabe's sister.  The spirit plays with his sister as if it was a game:

Spirit (angrily): Pull my hair, don't pull it!  I am so mad, I want to bite myself.  I don't want anyone to see or hear me.  I don't want anyone!  They made me so unhappy.  This isn't working, I would be better off dead.

Marisol: Don't give her those thoughts, she is just a young girl...

Spirit: Our plan is working, everything is ready.  She belongs to us.  We are all crazy, in a nuthouse.  We can use her to get to where we want to go - her mother is the one we want.  We want vengeance!  She has to suffer like she made us suffer.  She put us in a sanatorium and we were not crazy.  We will do the same thing to her.  We are going to finish this.  She has to pay for what she did.  I have separated everyone (from the sister), and now this man tells me to leave her alone?  To worry about myself?  I am going to listen to him.  This girl no longer interests me.  (to Gabe) Tell your mom that if she doesn't change, there is a lot more waiting for her - I wasn't the only one.  We are seven demons.  She was bad, tell her.  I am taking all of my stuff with me, the chain and the book of details.  Tell her not to write all of her stuff in that hidden book.  I'm going to leave her alone.

  

Nelson advised Gabe to prepare himself for the upcoming visit from his parents.  There will be negative spirits with them, and when Gabe senses these spirits in his house, he needs to tell them not to stay - they should leave with the parents who brought them. 

 

Spirit 6 (via Nelson): Nelson asked Marisol about Andres.  As she was updating the table about his condition, Nelson's spirit guide (Caballito) arrived with some specific messages:

 

For Marisol (regarding her son, Andres):

Bless him and tell him that when the time comes, you will be okay.  He feels as if he is abandoning you.  He senses what is around, and he wants to protect you.  Certain people say one thing when they are there, and then they say another thing once they leave your home.

Marisol: On Wednesday, I was waiting for a call that he went home...

Caballito: There are things that only the spirit world can do - a sadness from the spirit that only the spirits can help.  Nothing is being accelerated.  You are not alone, and we need you to be calm.  When you get worried, everything is desperate and out of place.  Everything is in good hands for him to return home calmly.

 

For Jeff (regarding his mother):

Are you prepared? You will need to be very strong.  Do not give up.  In her mind, she would rather die than go into a home.  You must be firm.  When the moment is right, it will happen.  There will be a conversation with your sister.  Let her talk, and you agree with her.  Don't confront her, or she will use that against you.

 

For Gabe:

Everything will be okay.  You are young and full of life.  Everything is in order.  You still have a human life to live, so keep doing it, living your life.  When confronted by your parents, just agree with respect.  If you want respect from them, you need to treat them in that way. 

 

For Carmen:

I will be with you.  The time will go fast, without you realizing it, but I be here.

 

For Sonia:

Be firm.  You know that everything will come out.

 

For Denise:

What can I say that has not already been said?

 

For Juanita:

Keep working,  You are now on the path, so go forward.  We need you.

 

For Ron:

Continue the work you are doing.  I will not be far.  Say 'this is my job, and this is my duty'.  There are no pleasures of the body as a spirit. 

 

Caballito: Are there any questions?

Maricela:  Thank you for always being here, helping us.

Caballito: Don't let anything keep you from attending, even if the path is difficult...

(Bernardo asked about his spirit guide)

Caballito: You have not prepared yourself to see him.  He presents himself as a man to you.  Those other spirits bother you because you like it.  Fix the material and he (the spirit guide) will always be there.  You want to know his name.  It's Manuel.  You talk to him, but you do not listen to what he says in response.  Ask for him, and by the time I return, you will have spoken to him.

(Marisol asked about cremation)

Caballito: Most need to see their body.  Once they are without life, they need to realize they are gone.  Three days are needed.  After that, it does not matter what is done.  It's not important.  Prayers are helpful to the spirit for progression.  Do not call them to you, but help them progress.  Our love is of the spirit. 

(In regards to Andres) Whenever he calls and I cannot go, some who are closer are sent to help.

(Maricela wanted to know the name of her spirit guide)

Caballito: You will know once you prepared to know.  The name is not important, only the connection.

 

For everyone:

Pray for your spirit guide.  When you pray, do it quietly, with no material distractions.  Concentrate your thoughts.  Focus your energy into that prayer for it to be heard.  Don't tell me that you are unable to dedicate thee minutes a day to your own spirit.  You can help yourself and protect yourself.  Your own spiritual vibration will take care of everything that harms you.  (pause) We have a lot of our friends here, collecting others (spirits).  There were 300 sitting in those chairs outside, connected to everyone in here.

 

Emiliano: When I pray or see the Virgin of Guadalupe, why do I feel like crying?

Caballito: We are given the opportunity to see inside ourselves when we pray.  You do not like what you see, so those tears are for yourself.  Look inside yourself and find the reason for those tears.  If we start by being kind to ourselves - if we start loving ourselves - we can do the work.  All of us are imperfect.  I understand there is a party.  Go and enjoy the company of each other.  I will be back.  Hug each other.  Life will come full circle.

 

Nelson closed with a prayer.

Chicago - September 27, 2015

In attendance: Alex, Bernardo, Carmen, Denise, Emiliano, Erika, Esperanza, Gabe, Isabel, Jeff, Juanita, Nelson, Ron and Sonia

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  Before the opening prayer, Nelson's spirit guide was very eager and animated to begin.  He shared some messages for the table:

- Families are those that we select, and not the ones that we were assigned.

- There are some spirits knocking on our door, but they are not on the list to be admitted, because they have not earned the right to be inside. The same applies to the material world.  We knock on the door, but we are afraid to enter - because we are afraid of hearing the truth - and it can hurt.

- We should not allow anyone or anything (such as bad emotions), to interrupt our group.  We are all equally responsible to stop these interruptions. 

 

Throughout the session, Nelson's spirit guide moved in and out of the conversation.  After the opening prayer, he spoke to our group regarding the spiritual impact of the pope's visit to the US:

- He came on a mission for the US, but he does not realize what his visit brings.  His work in the material world opened doors on the spiritual side that were left open for the spirits to do whatever they want.  All of us are vulnerable to all that he has brought.  The doors need to be closed, and it is difficult to close them once they have been opened.

 

Caballito also wanted Nelson to ask Denise for an update regarding her medical issues.  Denise is taking a steroid (Prednisone), and Nelson's guide said once the cause of her illness was eliminated (her niece) there would no longer be a need for the drug.  Juanita saw her spirit guide standing next to Denise, grabbing her arm and crying, as she asked Denise to take care of herself.  Nelson envisioned Denise in a hospital bed, with an oxygen mask strapped over her face.

 

Nelson's spirit guide advised that steps needed to be taken to resolve her responsibility for the niece.  It is important for Denise to think about her own health now.  She should give her family and the niece a deadline, telling them, "I cannot die because of what you want."  The conversation continued:

Sonia:  Not all of our faith should be in the doctors.  It's up to us to manage and take control of our own health.  You are responsible for you - period.

Caballito: You took over the care for your niece when the others left because they could not handle her - and now, neither can you.  She (the niece) has an incredible amount of spiritual needs that no one can provide.  This individual has been running away from her responsibilities for a long time.  Do not allow it!  I need to be direct, because I am talking to a spirit, so I need to be strong.  I had to trap them that way.  you need to be strong.  Do not wait until something drastic happens.  She is the cause of all of this.

 

Spirit 2 (via Nelson): Nelson sensed the spirit of a young child around Sonia.  He was not connected to her son or daughter, and Nelson wondered where he came from.  He was standing next to Sonia, reaching up to tug on her blouse as he asked for her help.  Sonia explained that the child she lost was a boy.  The spirit of that child watched over Sonia now, and he is okay.  He was sitting next to her in the other room when Nelson was speaking about the moment when a spirit becomes attached to a baby in the womb.  This spirit wanted Sonia to know that although he was not born into the material world, he did exist:

Spirit (very emotional): I was not allowed to reincarnate.  It's not what I needed to do, but it doesn't mean that I was not real...

Sonia: I knew you were real.

Spirit: They told me today was my birthday, and I was given the opportunity to talk to you!  To finally be able to call you Mom...

Sonia: How wonderful.  I love you.  Ramon (Raymond) was your name.

Spirit: I wanted to say thank you for always thinking about me.  I didn't have a body, but I was alive.

Sonia: I know you are - thank you.

Spirit: I didn't want to cry.  I had so many things I wanted to say.  I had to get your attention because I wanted you to see me so I could talk to you.  They have plans for me now, and I didn't want to start a new life until I said thank you.  You never forgot about me. 

Sonia: I am happy to have been your mom.

Spirit: I'm ready to go.  I going to come back.  I'm looking forward to having that new life.  Maybe you will see me again.  My time has come to move on.  It's a birthday, and I'm going to be reborn and be that boy again.  I like the name Phillip - or Philippe in French.  That's what I like, that's where I come from.  You have some French in your background if you look it up.  I'm very happy, it's the beginning of a new trip.  I have been on a long term vacation, and now I will start a new journée (French for "journey").  One day, we will see each other in a different way.  I am looking forward to my new way of living...

 

Nelson saw this spirit as very educated, and he chose Sonia to be his mom.  He appeared to be some sort of speech writer.  Juanita saw three spiritual baskets being presented to Erika.  One of the baskets was very elegant, and Erika opened it.  Erika was not able to see anything inside of it, so she was instructed to look again.  The basket contained clues to one of Erika's previous lives, and it would be presented to her.

 

Spirit 3 (via Carmen):  Nelson described Erika in a tribal setting under a tent.  Similar to a harem, Erika was part of a group of female dancers who wore multicolored veils.  She was an exotic leader of the dancers, with baskets all around her.  Nelson said that in her current existence, "you can't do that but you think you can."  In this life, the boys do not see Erika as she once was.  A spirit was lingering in the background, and he was wearing a white turban with a large diamond in it.  When Gabe described him as a sultan, he jumped into Carmen to speak:

Spirit: My queen.  A sultan who has not let go of my queen.  I always celebrate with her.  I bought her. 

Nelson:  Look at her, she's not the same copy...

Spirit: Sometimes I change the way she looks.  She doesn't go out unless I go with her.

(The spirit was unwilling to see his own body or the body he was speaking through.)

Nelson: Look at how you died...

Spirit: That is not me.  Look at the dancers still dancing around me, just for me. (long pause) I'm getting cold now.  Take that away - take away that cold.  I have to leave my queen?  I have always helped her...

Nelson: You were causing her harm.  Go with that guide...

Spirit (sadly): I will leave with him and take six dancers with me.  I was always dressed entirely in white.

 

Juanita shared that she felt like crying, but it passed because that time was over.  Nelson's guide asked Erika to stand to be cleansed by his towel.  He encouraged Erika to read and research her past to find out more.  Her stomach problems were related to this past life.  When the other dancers did not perform in a manner that pleased the sultan, Erika would give them a drink with venom or poison in it as a punishment. 

Nelson returned to his seat and told the group that if we remembered where we came from, we would never want to be reborn.  Erika had no kindness in her last life, and now she needed to learn how to be kind in this life.  Nelson's guide took over, and he said: "Be good to those who are not good to us.  Say, 'I'm a new person and I am very kind to everyone'.  There is more work to be done, so I will move aside."

 

Spirit 4 (via Carmen):  Carmen was experiencing a pain near her eyes.  It was related to what she was seeing, as a new spirit had arrived.  This spirit was connected to Denise and her niece:

Spirit: I feel like I want to break something!  I don't know what, but I want to break it!  Nobody pays attention to me and I want the attention!

Nelson: You want to break the thread that connects everyone. 

Spirit: So maybe then they will hear me!  (referring to Denise) I am going to switch her pills around.  She might look big and strong, but she (the niece) can kill her.

Nelson: We need to break that connection...

Denise: You are not mine, and you have to go...

Spirit (to Denise): But you are the only one who understands me!  And now they say I have to go and take all the pills with me?  Now I have a headache.  I have to leave her alone and move along with those spirits.  All right, I'm done.

 

The spirit took 17 others away with him.  Nelson advised Denise that if she doesn't sever the relationship with her niece, it will continue to grow and become stronger - and much too toxic for Denise. 

 

Spirit 5 (via Nelson):  A new spirit was circling Nelson, and he described himself and his group as "spirits of the world."  He explained more as the conversation continued:

Spirit: We go around and do what we can.  We go everywhere and look for opportunities.  99% of the time, the doors are wide open.  We laugh and go in.  We see them praying on their knees (demonstrated) and it's too late!  We laugh at them.  Fools!  It's the evil of the world.

Jeff: Why do you want to be evil when you can do good?

Spirit: It's so much fun!  We call them fools.  I can go everywhere, so you are probably wondering why I came here.  You are different, and I was curious.

Denise: When you come in here, there are rules.

Spirit: Don't tell me I'm a spirit, I know that!  When I knock on the doors, they let me in.  A home might be beautiful on the outside, but when we get inside, no one is talking to each other!  They hate each other and hit each other!  Very funny.  But curiosity got the best of me.  When I knocked on your door two weeks ago, a guy told me that my name was not on the list.  I might be a fool, but I can think.  I came back the next week with 500 others, and that guy still wouldn't let me in.  I brought a thousand with me after that, and it still didn't work.  So I decided to visit the house of someone in this group (Carmen and Bernardo) to create a commotion.  Bells ringing, keys, cars, all kinds of noise!  We wanted her not to come today.  When she came anyway, I decide to come in with her - and I brought 2,000 others with me!  And now we are trapped in here and there is nothing going on.  I feel bad that I convinced the others.  You should keep that guy at the door, he is very smart.  He makes you wonder what is going on, and now this fool lost today.  Sometimes the fool gets caught.  I did all the work, gathering everyone together for him and brought them all right to his door!  All of us are going now, but be careful of us.  We want to make fools of you.  Don't let the fools in!  (to Carmen) I am sorry for all the commotion at your house today...

 

Spirit 6 (via Nelson):  As the group of spirits left, Nelson was immediately presented with new spiritual images.  He saw a Catholic church leader (a cardinal in robes wearing a red cap), who had authority over two lower ranking church authorities (maybe bishops) who wore a light purple hat.  These three spirits were the previous reincarnation of Gabe and his brother (the two bishops) and Gabe's father (the cardinal).  They were the reason for Gabe always feeling uncomfortable in churches in this life. 

 

(Note: The caps worn by the hierarchy of the Catholic church are called a zucchetto.  The color denotes the wearer's rank.  The pope's zucchetto is white, those worn by cardinals are scarlet red, and those of bishops, territorial abbots and territorial prelates are a purple color called amaranth. Priests and deacons wear black, and ordained Franciscan friars wear brown.)

 

In this past reincarnation, Gabe reported to the cardinal in the red hat (his father now in this life).  Gabe observed the other priests and bishops sexually abusing boys, and this made him uncomfortable, but he never reported it.  When his purple cap was put on his head, he would remove it in disgust.  The others saw him as a threat, even though Gabe spoke about what he witnessed.  Instead, Gabe would encourage the boys to return home quickly after they changed, and he told the boys not to spend time with the priests.  Gabe felt guilty, as he was only able to save the boys from his church.  There was one boy that Gabe was hiding from the others under a tablecloth.  Nelson's spirit guide took him to the church (in 1440 Spain) to bring the spirit of the boy (or possibly a priest) to our table: 

Spirit (hunched over in his seat): I don't want to leave where I am.  This the only place I feel comfortable.

Denise: We want to help you.

Spirit: I am ashamed of what I have done.  This is the only place I feel comfortable - being punished.

Denise: Step into the light and learn to feel good.  There is no shame, that was another life.

Spirit (sadly): You do not want to see where we come from.  (to Gabe, regarding his brother) Forgive him. Don't betray him again. How long have I been down here?  Can it be over 140 years in this hole?  I don't know if I should say thank you or I'm sorry.

Denise: Both are acceptable.

Spirit: Forgive me God, as I did not know what I was doing.  I'm lying.  I knew what I was doing.  There are 13 of us, 12 boys and myself.

Nelson asked the Romero family about the relative in Michigan with the spiritual monkey.  They were doing okay, and Nelson explained that the spirit world was working on the monkey, but they were still unable to capture it.  Nelson was also shown some members of the police/army detail for the pope.  Carmen said that there had been some assignation attempts on the pope, but they had been kept quiet. 

 

Spirit 7 (via Nelson):  The spirit of a former guard for the pope was stepping forward.  Nelson heard him say, "After they are done with us, they toss us aside."  This military man did not want to serve - he was forced into it.  Nelson saw him buried in a mass grave, somewhere under the Vatican City, and he was looking for his name on the tomb:

Spirit: Where is my name?  I served.  Now the truth is revealed.  Why can this man (Nelson) see me, when the others cannot?  I have been watching for the big one to come in, but he never does.  (Jeff and Denise counseled the spirit) 

Spirit: I am confused.  Who is this man (Nelson)?  Why did he see me?  I have been here waiting.  It's not what I expected.  So...so...so where are the candles?  We always had candles.  My name was Alexander.  No one is coming for me - except this guy?  They told us we would be reborn!  Don't listen to them - be smart!  Do you have newspapers?  I recommend you put it in the newspapers to warn others..."

 

The spirit softly faded away, taking 76 other soldiers/guards with him, and 16 nuns.  Nelson's spirit guide reappeared briefly with a message for Juanita: "The more you get involved, the more you will see.  It will become more complicated, but do not be discouraged.  This is a process.  Don't get frustrated.  I hope everyone enjoyed today, because I did."

 

Nelson closed with a prayer.

Chicago - September 20, 2015

In attendance: Alex, Bernardo, Carmen, Denise, Emiliano, Erika, Esperanza, Gabe, Isabel, Jeff, Juanita, Nelson, Ron and Sonia

 

There were some specific prayer requests:

- Nelson's mother, who has no appetite

- Gabe's father, who has been experiencing negative thoughts

- Juanita's nieces who are having babies

- Carmen's sister who was attacked by a dog

- Marisol for her son and herself 

 

Nelson envisioned the situation between Marisol and her son as if they were conjoined twins.  Andres does not want to leave his mother because he believes that he gives her life a purpose and helps to make it more fulfilling. Andres also sensed something spiritual happening in the house, and he was determined to protect and shield his mother from any possible harm.  If he could, Andres would get out of his bed to fight off the spiritual presence. 

 

Spirits 1 & 2 (via Carmen):  An insistent spirit moved forward to sit through Carmen.  The spirit was defiant and outraged, but she was not connected to Marisol and Andres.  She had arrived to speak with Nelson: 

Spirit: I have tried to get you out (of the center), so why are you still there?  What are you doing there?

Nelson: I am doing my work...

Spirit: Your job is to pay attention to me!  They left me outside.  You didn't love or respect me, so I came here today for that love you would not give me.  I follow you everywhere - I'm always there.  I tried to separate you from him...

Nelson:  In this life, I cannot love you because you are in spirit...

Spirit:  I've seen. I know.  It was beautiful.

Nelson: I don't want you to suffer.  Forgive me if I made you suffer, and I ask you for forgiveness as well.  You brought two children along with you...

Spirit: They were yours.

Nelson: I see them, two children with beautiful, emerald green eyes.

Spirit: While you are alive, I will be your enemy.

Nelson: I want you to get some education - so that we can be together in a future life.

Spirit (slowly losing her anger): I want to hug and touch you (Nelson declined).  You always lied to me with your sweet words, so why should I believe you now?

Nelson: If I ever lied to you, forgive me.  Go to that school - and you will learn about many types of love.

Spirit: I will go, and I will take care of the children until you join us.  I will be waiting for you and cleaning the way. 

 

Once the spirit moved on, Carmen's guide arrived to cleanse her and offer blessings to our table.  Nelson wanted to return to the topic of the spirit in Marisol's house. Marisol said that she was always cautious on the stairs outside of her son's room, and the spirit seemed to be in that location.  Nelson drew an illustration of the spirit, depicting him as a round white snowman with a blob of black hair (or a hat) on his head.

 

Spirit 3 (via Nelson): Marisol had previously sensed this spirit, and she knew that he had been in the same location for a very long time.  Nelson heard the spirit say, "Don't get married, don't do any (spiritual) work, I just want to destroy her completely!  We were partners together in another life, and I have been with her for centuries."  Nelson described the spirit seated on a throne in the desert.  Marisol once acted as a seer for this man, using her abilities only for him.  He kept her body painted white, so he could tell if anyone touched her.  They lived in tents, possibly in the Egyptian desert.  As he arrived, the spirit pushed Nelson back in the chair and spoke in the regal manner of a king:

Spirit (regarding the drawing):  Draw me on a throne - and I am not that fat!  (to Marisol) You belong only to me.  What are you doing here?  You do not belong here.  I came to get you, so let's finish with this craziness.  You are mine. 

Sonia: That was in the past...

Spirit: Who gave her the power to talk?

Marisol: Thank you for coming, because it is time for us to talk.  Look at the body you are talking through, is it yours?

Spirit: This is another one of your tricks. The one who is there with you (her son, Andres) was sent in his condition for all of us to be together again. I am not satisfied.  There is another one who is also there (Marisol's husband, Ernesto).  He does not belong with us.

Marisol: You are living in a memory from the past.  Listen to the one who is next to you...

Spirit: He tells me this is the end.  I don't like it, and I don't want to leave the other one (Andres) alone.  I need to control everything, and if I leave, how can that be done?  Is it true that you have a different name? 

Marisol: Yes, it's Marisol.

Spirit:  Does your name mean rays of sunlight?  Do you remember belonging to those tents in the sun?

Marisol: That was another life.

Spirit: That emblem (a horseshoe or crescent moon shape with two stars) represented my reign...

 

(Note: Seba is the Egyptian term for star.  Stars symbolized discipline or learning and they were associated with gates and doorways. The stars had a great deal of influence in the development of the Egyptian calendar and they also represented life after death - as stars were seen as a symbol of the souls of the dead.)

Spirit: I have been with you a very long time.  I thought it was magic.  It's difficult to let go of the thoughts that you belonged only to me.  I want to leave my turban with you (containing the emblem) as a memory of those other times - a reminder that everything done has not been lost.  You still have your magic, but there are a lot of things that I need to remove and take with me from that place.  He (the spirit guide) is very wise.  He is taking me to another castle where I can learn.  In a very distinctive chariot.  One day, when I am in a better condition, I will come and talk again.  I am interested in learning about all of the secrets and the magic. Forgive me if I said anything that was wrong...

 

The spirit raised his arms as if he was embracing the sun and left peacefully.  Nelson explained that Marisol had her own tent in this prior existence, with beautiful light blue/purplish sheer curtains that created a private bathing area.  She was not allowed to be touched by anyone (even the spirit of the king) as she was too pure.  Andres was the king's son in this previous life, but Marisol was not his mother.  It was Andres duty to watch over Marisol now in this life.  Nelson advised Marisol to place some sheer light blue curtains behind the bed of her son, to remind him of where he came from in the past. 

 

The spirit guides were traveling to Marisol's house to put her son at peace.  Nelson became rigid in his chair, with his arms stiff at his side, as if he was lying on a bed.  His mouth trembled.  After a few moments, it was over.  There was a discussion about a twin brother for Andres.  When Marisol was pregnant, the spirit world had planned for her to have twins, but these plans changed.  One twin bother stayed in the spirit world to help Andres.  He was also there with Marisol during her reincarnation involving the tents, and he would return one day to speak with Marisol again.  He whispered to her now, softly at night, and he thanked her for keeping things calm.  He wanted her to know that he would be with Andres when it was time to transition.

 

Juanita saw a vision of her sister and her husband around Bernardo.  She also sensed a spirit version of Jeff in a green shirt standing behind Nelson.  Marisol described a furry ball in the stomach of Nelson's mother that was preventing her from eating.  It was spiritual, but also physical (possibly a gall bladder problem). 

 

Spirit 4 (via Marisol): As the table discussed the issues with Nelson's mother, an irate spirit moved forward and spoke through Marisol:

Spirit: I do not like how she talks to me!  The pain, the pain.  She tells me I am abusive.  (to Nelson)  And I do not like you interfering.  She harmed me!  Now she doesn't care about what she did to me, and she doesn't want to humble herself.  I am not going to leave until she does.  I'm clogging everything up.  She sees me and she gets scared.  Why should I forgive her?  She poisoned me.

Nelson: You are a spirit now, become educated.  Don't let the hate blind you...

Spirit: I know I'm a spirit, but I have the power now.  She looked at me and laughed.  I know hatred extends life existences.  They are taking me to a place to learn.  I want to feel better and get away from the dark memories....  (Note: Nelson phoned his mother after - her appetite has returned and she is feeling better.)

 

Esperanza had a dream about her mother who is in the spirit world.  In the dream, Esperanza was entering a church.  Everyone exiting the church was telling her that her mother was going to die - but her mother had already passed on five years earlier.  Esperanza said that she wanted to tell her mother how much she loved her, but she did not have the opportunity before she passed.  Nelson explained that when we die, we relive the same material things over and over.  The spirit of Esperanza's mom was tormented and asking for help.  Nelson advised Esperanza to say the prayer for the recently departed - and she should continue to say it nightly until next Sunday.  Nelson understood that the mother did not have a good life, and whenever she remembered her last reincarnation, her condition worsened.

 

Nelson began to study a new spirit who said that sometimes in life, parents resembled their children - even though their personalities were different.  Parents often said they hoped their children would not need to experience what they endured; but when it happens, it was difficult for the parents to understand or change. This related to Gabe and his father. 

 

Spirit 5 (via Nelson): Gabe's father ran away from the home of his parents, and now the father believed that Gabe was repeating the same pattern.  The father was frustrated, because he thought he worked hard and gave his children everything.  Now he was conflicted over their increasing independence.  Nelson understood that Gabe's dad was not physically or spiritually well. Denise said that Gabe was doing fine, and he had his uncle around for support - which caused a furious spirit to jump into Nelson.  The spirit stood up, clenching his fists and boiling over with exasperation. 

Spirit:  Now I have to deal with that old lady (the mother of Gabe's dad) and that farm!  I'm old and tired!  Why can't my brother do it?  And then I have to come home to her (Gabe's mom) and why did she (Gabe's sister) have to go over there?  Useless!  All of them are useless!  I just want to give up.  (Jeff counseled the spirit.)  I just want to get in a car and leave them all, just drive away.  I am so tired.

Sonia: We can help you resolve that...

Spirit: I'm tired of being angry.  I want a drink, but I know if I have one, I'll want 20 bottles.  I want to leave, and can I tell you something?  I like it when he (Gabe's father) is angry and miserable.  He wants everyone to like him - he's the good one, he's the nice one - but when he is alone, the real one comes out.  I have tried a couple of times to make him take the keys to the car and the first pole that he sees - hit it!  Front and center!  They will find his brains in the next car.  I don't like anyone in that family, they give me headaches.

Marisol: You do not have a body, so you cannot have headaches.

Spirit: It's hard to deal with someone you don't like and still smile and pretend to care.  I don't like her (the mother of Gabe's father) when she cries because of the way I act.  (pause)  I wonder where I am now and why I am so tired.  I am doing to him (Gabe's dad) do what he did to me.  He's so worried that she (Gabe's mom) will leave him.  I make him scratch all over (demonstrated) and I pull on his legs!

 

The spirit was persuaded to leave with the spirit guides, and he agreed to take the scratching sensation with him, along with 14 other spirits.  He left abruptly, with his hands in the air, exclaiming: "I'm freeee..."

 

Nelson sensed a connection with a monkey and someone at our table.  Juanita saw a pile of photographs that were jumbled on the floor.  She saw herself picking out a photo of her family.  Juanita's sister-in-law in Michigan (Carolina) wanted a monkey (or a figure of one), as she was fascinated with them.  Nelson sensed a spirit acting like a monkey in her house, jumping around and making noises.  Carolina had a music box that played a song with her name in it.  When Carolina played the song, the monkey sang along.  Nelson eventually determined that the relationship between Carolina and her son was very similar to an organ grinder and his monkey.  The son was only nine years old and very possessive of his mother, and this relationship between the son and the mother caused problems in the family.  Both parents were acting incorrectly, and they were on the verge of a divorce.  Juanita said she would intervene and investigate.

 

Nelson closed with a prayer.

Florida - October 28, 2015

In attendance: Astrid, Jeff, Nelson and Santiago

 

Nelson sensed "money maker spirits" around the room after the opening prayer.  They were laughing at our group, encouraging us to "do as we do, and you will be happily making money."  A male spirit edged forward, and Nelson described him as a male version of a madame.  His job was to visit those who charged money to work with tarot cards, shells, etc. and give them one vital piece of information that could be verified by a client.  This spirit was subtle and secure in his role, and he told us that he could control any mind - even Nelson's.

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  The spirit explained that he once controlled a male friend of Gloria's from the past.  He said this man was from Argentina, and that he dabbled in Santeria and liked African culture.  At the end of his life, the Argentinean man finally realized that he did not really have any powers.  Gloria (absent form our session) has been calling on this deceased man for help, but the spirit at our table today was the one responding to her. The specialty of this spirit was creating potions and poisons, and Gloria had recently taken food to her daughter's husband, hoping that whatever was included inside would cure his illness.  The spirit sat through Nelson, explaining that he was still busy, working in his laboratory, and he had a "powerful potion for whatever was needed..."

Spirit: I know where to go, where to take my potions.  At the end, he (Gloria's deceased friend) was useless.  His potions didn't work (laughed) because he became consumed with what he did.  I laugh because they still call on me!  I know I am a spirit.  I know today is the end of me.  I tried to escape, but with all this that I have (his lab), I couldn't escape.  (more laugher)  Look at that, I have even fooled myself!

Astrid: Now you have free will to be different and do better.

Spirit: He said I've done enough harm.  For so long.  Now I have to do good, and I don't know how.  He said today that I would be taken away from those weak minds, and I need to take the things I put there.  I will only take what is mine.  (long pause)  See what they are doing?  They are dismantling my laboratory.  All my work is being taken away.  Can I tell you something?  I had more friends on the other side.  I'm alone on this "good side" without any friends.  (laugher)  She thought the food she took to her daughter containing one of my potions would cure that man!  It wouldn't have worked, because it was not a good thing. 

Astrid: It did not come from love.

Spirit: It came from the idea that I am powerful!  Be careful, there are many of us out there.  At the end, what we do really doesn't work.  I am leaving powerless, with only me an my memories.  They said to tell you that.  Just me.  One.

 

The spirit departed, and Nelson began to sense a similar entity.  This was a strong female madame, and she said, "You convinced that one, but he was weak and we are strong."  Nelson and Astrid visualized her as gypsy from a more current existence - not very long ago.  She was as strong as any man, and she had a light beard.  Her brown hair was long and curly, and she was dressed in red clothing with gold chains.  She intentionally manipulated her jewelry to make noises, saying "We let our presence be known."  There were many other gypsies with her, from various camps and different countries, but they were all working in a similar way.

 

Spirit 2 (via Nelson):  The gypsy spirit had a ritual of noises, removing veils with gold coins attached, and several colognes that she used to entice her victims into trusting her.  She arrived through Nelson when she noticed The Spirits Book on our table:

Spirit (pointing):  That is not the book!  With that, you have to change and with my book, you do not.  You see what is going on over there (in Europe)?  You do not see the Romanians running.  We may steal or kill, but we survive - regardless. 

Jeff: Why are you here?
Spirit: To prove that we are not weak.  Are you in a hurry?  Then go away!  There is a ceremony to this. 

(The spirit explained how she fluttered her eyes, slowly unveiled her red lips, and made certain that her jewelry and the aroma of her colognes were noticed) 

Spirit: No one can resist me, or our power.  With your group, you tell people to read and learn, but with us, they do not need that.  I am so beautiful, look at these red lips that no man can resist...

Astrid: Are you an actress?

Spirit: It's a show, not a production. (drummed her fingers softly on table)  When I ask, reveal your problems.  I am a little thirsty.  Is there something to drink?  Not water, something a little stronger.  My drink is over there, if you could just reach it for me...

Jeff: You do not have the power to fix our issues and you cannot reach your drink.

Spirit: You are confusing me - stop it!  Not powerful?  But people call on us all the time.  Even if they cannot have a baby, they call.  We give them that baby by telling them to go sleep with another man (laughed).  What about you (looked at Jeff)?  I have some beautiful girls here, would you like one of them?  We do what we do because we get paid.

Jeff: I think I would prefer a male...

Spirit (pause): Oh, I see.  I have those as well.  (looked at Santiago)  What about you?  I have a girl for you.  I know what you like.  Beautiful long hair, very slender...

Astrid: You need to go to a new place now, with those who brought you.

Spirit: I have to change?  I do not like you people!  Taking away my power.  I'm losing it now, some of my power.  They are taking some of my girls.  Their parents gave them to me!  We send some money to the parents.  Sixteen girls - all gone!  (whispering)  And two boys.  I was going to give them to you, but you said you didn't want them.  Now they say I can help in a different way (sighed).  I'm sorry.  They took all my jewelry.  No noise.  They said all I need is a fresh mind.  What is that?  Oh, they need to clean it, they say.  They took those others, and now I am all alone.

Astrid: And you thought you had power...

Spirit: I controlled those minds, but now they have to think for themselves...

 

Once the spirit was gone, Nelson said that she knew what people were looking for, and she gave it to them.  Astrid added, "She was a good judge of character."

 

Spirit 3 (via Nelson):  Nelson was fascinated with the gypsy culture, and we discussed several aspects of the lives they led.  As the discussion ended, Caballito spoke briefly from a position behind Nelson: 

Caballito: There is always a learning opportunity.  The learning improves you.  Do not let anyone take what you have learned away from you.  It does not matter how persuasive they are, if you know it is wrong, do not let anyone control your way of thinking.

For Santiago: Do the best you can with your sister.  Do not let what she does influence you.  You know better.  She will learn, and sometimes it is painful.  Learn now, as it is easier to change.  It is more difficult to change on the spirit side, because what is in your thoughts is more ingrained.

Chicago - September 13, 2015

In attendance: Bernardo, Carmen, Denise, Emiliano, Esperanza, Gabe, Jeff, Juan, Juanita, Maricela, Nelson and Sonia

 

On Wednesday, Carmen sensed a spirit for Marisol, and that same spirit was present again.  Juanita also noticed the spirit around the table during the opening prayer.

 

Spirit 1 (via Carmen):  The spirit wanted Marisol's son to transition so that Marisol would suffer.

Spirit (referring to Marisol): Where is my queen?  I am looking for her.  I want that to be over.  I want to finish my work with him.  It's my responsibility to finish it.  There will be blame and it will all be hers.  I am going to finish it. (Nelson counseled the spirit in Spanish)
Spirit: I have been in there (in Marisol's home) for a while, but they won't let me get close enough...

Nelson: You no longer need to be responsible - give that to the other who came with you today.

Spirit: It has been hard.  He is rebellious. 

Nelson: Let him be with his guardian angel now.  Today is the day for your freedom.  You left something over there that doesn't belong - and you need to go back and get it.

Spirit (sadly):  I have to leave?  I'm sad because I lost so much time.  I was mistaken.  There are seven of us and I am taking everything and everyone and we are leaving.

 

The spirit left quietly.  Nelson realized earlier (in the car on the way to the center) that one of our members was not feeling well and she would not be attending, and now he understood it was Marisol.  Nelson said the situation had two sides.  He understood that Marisol sensed a spirit presence in her house, and this made her apprehensive to leave her son alone at home.  In addition, Marisol was not feeling well (emotionally), as she became aware of some spiritual friends arriving for her son, Andres.  When his transition occurs, Marisol wants to be there with him.  Nelson advised that it would be better is she was not there, and he reminded the table that when it does happen, all of us need to surround Marisol with support and compassion.  

 

Nelson began to sense another spirit in the house.  He drew a map of Andres room that indicated his bed, a chair and some other items.  Nelson asked what was located along a wall outside of his room, and Carmen explained that it was a steep staircase.  There was a spirit on the stairs (in the corner, at the top) just standing there.  His legs were extended out in an attempt to trip Marisol.  This spirit was extremely skinny and it was very easy for him to remain hidden.

 

Spirit 2 (via Nelson):  The spirit was powerful, and he said he wanted "a double death."  His plan was that Andres would pass out or call out to Marisol, and he would trip her as she ran down the stairs to her son.  The spirit told Nelson, "You wanted to come here, and I prevented that because you would see us.  I didn't want to come.  I am sick, so sick!  Sick!  I need some water.  I'm waiting for someone to arrive and give me a glass of water."  Carmen counseled the spirit.  Referring again to Nelson, the spirit said: "I don't like him.  Let him know that.  We were all leaving together with everyone.  There was going to be three funerals, because there is another one who lives there that we do not like.  He doesn't go up there (using the stairs), he goes another way.  I laugh at him.  I am so thin and sick.  I'm tired."

 

The spirit said that Marisol's husband told her he "saw a Casper."  Everything hurt on the thin spirit, and the good spirits around him advised him not to go back to Marisol's house.  The spirit wondered where Marisol's mother was, as he had been looking for her in the house, and he was unable to find her. Carmen explained that she was in the spirit world - where this spirit belonged.  "We liked to make jokes and scare people," the spirit said.  Referring to Marisol's husband, the spirit continued: "He gets white with fright, but I get more black.  She (Marisol) was doing things upstairs and she never finished.  Tell her to finish them with someone else.  I'll take what is mine, but she needs to finish.  I run up and down those stairs until I get tired and fall.  Now I am hungry.  I look frail and feeble because that's what she likes."

 

The spirit seemed reluctant to leave.  "We have noisemakers," he said, "bells, spoons - ask her!  She heard my noises.  I will take what is mine, and 29 others will go with me.  Tell her we said goodbye."  The spirit left easily.  Nelson sensed that at one time, Marisol was performing healings.  She stopped doing them.  Nelson envisioned two chairs, with Marisol in one seat and a spiritual madame seated in the other.  Marisol thought the madame was her spirit guide, but she was not.  This madame was very intelligent.  She was asking when Marisol was going to start the healings again, and she insisted that Marisol "had debates in her head over it."

 

Spirit 3 (via Nelson):  The spirit of the madame wanted Marisol to stop attending our sessions and return to the healings with her.  Nelson and his guide had to spiritually travel to Marisol's house before this spirit would agree to sit.  The spirit arrived in a flurry, moving Nelson back in his seat as she spoke:

Spirit: Carumba, Carumba, Carumba!  What do you want with me here?  I keep asking her when she is going to do the kind of work we like again.  (Carmen counseled the spirit in Spanish)

Spirit: I know I'm dead, and I know what I am saying and doing.  She likes to work with us - and we are many.  She wants to heal!   The difference between this work and ours is that yours is for nothing but I expect something (payment).  He came for us in that house, and now he tells us that we cannot work that way anymore.  I was hiding behind a cup of water.  You know, we can do whatever you want.  (The spirit turned to Jeff and addressed him in English)  If you want to lose a few pounds, just let me know.  We left a bunch of - as you gringo people say - black people over there.  I was going to leave some of them over there, but we will remove them.  You need more shows and presentations over here! (Switching back to Spanish)  I am telling him to lose some weight, and look at me.  It's (my appearance) what people expect from us, big and black.  We are taking 4 madames, 4 male madames, 4 servants and 7 blacks with us.  We are going to leave her alone."

 

The spirit began bouncing in the chair, clapping her hands on her knees, as she suddenly left.  Nelson advised the group that for anyone who wanted to perform healings or give passes, that work could be done here - with others available to look out for the healer - and among our group of spiritual friends.

 

The conversation turned to Emiliano and Esperanza.  There were five people living together in their house (six, if the girlfriend of the oldest son is included), and Nelson sensed that none of them got along very well with each other.  Juanita described the house as "empty and cold."  Nelson advised the couple to "warm that house with love," as there were lots of spirits present who wanted to see the house completely emptied of people - with a big lock and a thick chain around it.  Sonia wondered if the assignment from last week (hugging the children and assuring them that they were loved) was completed. Esperanza said she did it, but Emilano could not bring himself to do it.

 

Spirit 4 & 5 (via Nelson):  Caballito spoke from behind Nelson to give the group more insight:

Caballito (speaking to Emiliano and Esperanza):  Both of you come from a previous existence where you died together in a castle, all alone. We need to elevate that feeling, that wanting to be alone.  Three servants stayed with you in the castle.  You decided that the castle would permanently close once these servants died.  The three servants are back with you now, reincarnated as your three children.

(Caballito was replaced by a spirit from the house)

Spirit (to Juanita): This person bothers me!  She comes over and gives advice - orders! - and we do not like it.  We don't really like to talk much.  (Similar to Emilano and Esperanza now who are often nontalkative)

Carmen:  Why do you bother her more than him?

Spirit: Because she was the queen!  She closed the castle and hid the keys so that we could not find them.  We were not allowed to speak, as she wanted silence.  Now she is silent.  She beat us if we spoke.  (Carmen continued to counsel the spirit) 

Spirit: Where am I?  Is it magic?  I was somewhere else and now I am here.  She (Esperanza) sometimes wants to speak, but she cannot find the words.  She has the same voice.  Look at her, I know she hears me but she will not speak (demonstrated a mouth moving silently with no words coming out).

Esperanza: It's about discretion, not secrets... 

Spirit: I don't need to be over there anymore - I am happy to leave it.  All five of us.  She likes to have secrets.  There is another girl living over there (the girlfriend of the oldest son).  I feel better.  I can leave and still keep on talking...

 

Nelson sensed that Sonia was preoccupied with worry over someone.  It was Mia.  Sonia had spoken with a relative who said Mia's parents were having mental and physical health issues.  They attended a temple in Puerto Rico, but it offered no relief.  Nelson sensed dementia, and he stressed that their issue was similar to the Romero family - a lack of communication within the family.  Nelson's spirit guide advised Sonia to have a phone conversation with Mia.  He moved from his position behind Nelson to speak directly through him:

Caballito (to Sonia): If you are a true friend, say the things she may not like to hear.

Denise: She likes it better when it's direct.

Caballito: No secrets.  Communicate with her even if it goes in one ear and out the other.  For you (Denise), retreat and observe.  (Looking directly at Carmen)  Who is planning a trip?

Carmen: We are...

Caballito: The trip was planned by both of you, and both of you should be the only ones going.  Only you, do not let anyone else go with you.  Only the both of you - do you understand?

Carmen:  Is it okay for us to take the trip?
Caballito: Yes, you can plan it, but if it doesn't happen, that is also okay.  Just the two of you in the car, and no one else.  Do not let another person influence you or be in the car.  Only the two of you. 

(Carmen said she had already planned to ask for confirmation about this trip later in the session today)

 

There were some specific messages for others:

For Gabe: Don't get your nose involved where it doesn't belong.  When things go wrong, you will get the blame.

For Juanita: Keep doing the work and you will see wonders.  You have already seen changes.

For Jeff: Did you have a good time today?  Did you find what you were looking for?  So then, what is causing your sadness?

Jeff: I'm not that sad...it's just difficult to listen intently and try to understand Spanish.

Caballito: Not everything will be your way.  Don't let the little things bother you. 

Gabe: It's the details...

Sonia: ...and detours.

Caballito: What if I tell you that the trip that you are looking forward to might not be as good as you think? (referring to Gabe's upcoming visit to Florida to see Jeff and Nelson) If you planned for 100 roses and you get 70 roses, it is still good.  When things don't go your way, remember me and smile.  Do you now why you need an extra effort to understand Spanish?  What if I told you that at one time, you cut out the tongues of those who didn't speak Spanish?  Have more tolerance.  Growth is difficult and painful.  Sometimes when you speak with your mother, you do not understand her - and both of you are speaking the same language - English!

 

For Gabe: Keep your eyes open and your mind ready.  You do not like to read, but take some of your wasted time and read some of the books.  What will happen when you want to help others and you cannot answer their questions?  You have people around you who can help - and I am only one thought away.

 

For the group: We will take a group of 27 soldiers away with us today, as there was not enough time.  Take care of each other and do the best you can.  Ask for help, and we can help you.  Move forward and your life will be fully successful.

 

Nelson closed with a prayer.
