An Observation

Florida - December 28, 2016

In attendance: Jeff and Nelson

Nelson's spirit guide (Caballito) asked if a session would be possible, "as all the centers are closed, when they need us the most." (Note: The Chicago was closed for Christmas, Argentina closes from Dec 18-Feb 18 because the weather is too hot, the Florida group was not meeting from Dec 1- Jan 8, and in Puerto Rico, the group was not meeting for three weeks. ) After the opening prayer, Nelson was shown a series of large "closed" signs to illustrate the point.

Spirit 1 (via Nelson): Nelson saw a spirit knocking on a door, asking "Why did they close?" The spirit was looked directly at Nelson until he began to speak through him:
Spirit: Do you think you will change these people? Humans are stupid. You are the only one holding an "open" sign, and we will close you down, too. The side we belong to is strong. We are going to close all of them, all of them will close! That's what we do. You open, we close. (laughed) And the one I am speaking through gets frustrated.
Jeff: He works very hard to keep things open...
Spirit (interrupting): He will not have any place to work!  None!  We wait and wait, and with everyone so busy celebrating, we attack.
Jeff: It sounds exhausting.
Spirit: No - we have fun!  But I made a mistake, and I regret it. I thought I could do something without being seen, but he (Caballito) saw me. When he saw me, they trapped me. I couldn't finish the job. I had such big plans! Everyone was going to drop like flies. He (Caballito) saw me and stopped me.
Jeff: He's a nice guy, and he stopped you to help you.
Spirit: You say that, but I don't think it. He saved you.
Jeff: But you are here with him now, and you cannot go back. Why not go with him?
Spirit: We have no other option.
Jeff: And take your group with you.
Spirit: They always follow me. We are 69, and with me, it's 70. The group here (in Florida) was the easiest. Chicago would have been next. It's not what you think over there, and that's what we do. I knew if I came here, I would have to go with him. I failed, and I know the consequences. If you add up the number of people (attendees) from those three groups it adds up to 69 - and me. Keep the door closed and only open it to the right people.  (sighed)  I'm leaving this side and going to the other side. One day, if they allow me, I will return and tell you the differences.

After the spirit departed, Nelson was shown that all of the closed signs were neatly stacked on a chair near the table. Nelson and Jeff had planned a holiday trip to visit Jeff's mom, but a day before the departure, Jeff's mother canceled the trip. The next spirit was related to that cancellation.

Spirits 2 & 3 (via Nelson): Nelson's guide explained more, as he ushered in the new spirit:
Caballito (to Jeff): You have no idea how lucky you are that your mother canceled. That stew over there is not welcoming.
Jeff: It's not healthy for me to be there.
Caballito: But do not blame the fragile one (Jeff's mother), the other one (Jeff's sister) is the evil one. And she doesn't even understand why she does not like you. In her mind, everything for you always works out, and she wonders why. That is what irritates her the most.
Jeff: She makes the wrong choices and blames me.
Caballito: She thought that when you met this one (Nelson), that the relationship would fail...
(A spirit softly replaced Caballito)
Spirit: I thought it (the relationship) was never going to work!  Why was he with him?  I had a chart, and nothing matched with my expectations.  I am still trying to figure it out.  Why?  I just don't know.  I want to ask you the meaning of just one word...
Jeff: Love?
Spirit: Yes. No one has ever loved me for who I am or what I am. I never had a father, my mother tolerates me, but she loves him. I don't know the meaning of that word. I don't know it. I've looked everywhere, and tried everyone. They want me to be happy, but how can that be possible?
Jeff: There are many different types of love. You have to realize all of them. You are loved.
Spirit: I cannot even say that word! They ask me to give something that I never received. I've been on many roads. Many roads that go all over. On the roads there are signs saying, 'Stop here for water, stop here if you are tired, stop for the view, or for food.'  But there is no sign saying, 'Stop here for love.'  (pause)  He (Caballito) tells me that I have been looking in the wrong places. He will take me to find it, to a place...
Jeff: And you will experience more love than you could imagine.
Spirit (crying): He tells me to look deep.  It is there.  (pause, as the tears intensify)  It's so overwhelming.  He has that sign.  He has the 'Stop here for love' sign. (to Jeff)  Where I come from, do not go over there.  I don't know you, but my best advice is not to go.
Jeff: I understand - thank you.
Spirit: He has the sign of love!  Look at that, I said the word - love.  This time, this holiday is called the season of love, but there isn't any.  He said to tell you that we are four (spirits) and do you understand why?
Jeff: Yes. One for me, my mother, my sister and my brother.
Spirit: Yes.  I'm going to go, I'm going to follow that sign.
Jeff: You will not regret it. 

Nelson recovered, and Caballito showed him a new vision. He saw the partner of Jeff's sister (Deb) lying face down on a sofa.  (Note: The partner has some sort of pulmonary lung disease.) Caballito began to show Nelson was Deb was thinking: "If this is the way I have to live, I don't want to be here anymore."  She had no hope, and Caballito explained that she was surrounded by dark spirits - and they were telling her to go to sleep and not to wake up:
Caballito: It's a complicated illness, and the correct things are not being done.  She is the reason you did not go over there - she doesn't want anyone to see her sick.
Jeff: They have not told me anything about what she has, and my mother doesn't understand the name of it.
Caballito: They are planning to take your mother on a trip?
Jeff: Yes - to a casino in Biloxi, in January.
Caballito: When her friend visits her in January, she will convince her not to go. On top of her are several black layers of spirits. They are pulling her down.
Jeff: Like too many blankets on a bed?
Caballito: Yes.  I will remove what is allowed and take them with me. (Nelson was shown several thin black layers being peeled away.)  There were over 120 of them that I removed.  The illness is more serious than anyone thinks.  She is really sick, and she needs to be in a hospital.  What she has is Emphysema. (Note: Emphysema and chronic bronchitis are the most common conditions that make up COPD. Damage to the lungs from COPD cannot be reversed.)  It hurts her that nobody takes her illness seriously.  She needs a hospital.  No one is treating the cause. (Nelson was shown an image of Deb with an oxygen tank.)

Spirit 4 (via Nelson): After a brief pause, Caballito brought in a group of party people spirits. These spirits went everywhere, but they believed in nothing.  An animated spirit moved forward to speak:
Spirit: It's so easy to get someone to have another drink!  Everyone is in a party mood around this time, but they never understand why.  It's just the theme of the day.  Do you have anything to drink here?  We love these festivities!  Everyone is enjoying themselves, but it's not really the truth - they are sad and lonely. When we show up, it's a party for no reason!  We make the party.  Where's the party now?  Where's the juice (alcohol)?  They told me this was a party about a last night or some year - I didn't understand.
Jeff: We only have pure water here - with nothing added into it.
Spirit: And there isn't any music?  Are you religious?  When we show up, that religion ends.  Let's just dance!  I think maybe we came to the wrong place.
Jeff: It's the right place - with a better party.
Spirit: We thought this was an end to the parties.  Let me tell you, some of the ones with me are really crazy.  Look at that one, sitting in a corner throwing up.  I get them to have just one more drink, and they become sick.
Jeff: Why are you harming them?
Spirit (irritated): I told you, it's fun!  And we don't do drugs.
Jeff: How many do you have with you?
Spirit: A lot. What year is it?
Jeff: It's 2016. Is that the number with you?
Spirit: Yes - and with me, it's one more - 2017.  What is that all about, this year thing?  I don't understand.
Jeff: It's not important. You have a spiritual party waiting for you and your friends.
Spirit: They are all drunk.  Smell them, it's really bad.  If I could just have one more drink before we go?
Jeff: You know that is not possible.
Spirit (sighing): We will all go together with him.  Some of them are really sick, they are taking them away on beds.  Look at that.  It might take a while.  (long pause)  All of us are going?  Even the smelly ones?  It's my turn now...goodbye.

Caballito returned to clean Nelson and to talk to Jeff about the session:
Caballito: It didn't take that much of your time, and look what we have done.  Everyone is in such need...
Jeff: But they cannot invest any time.
Caballito: Those who are looking for love - it's 90% of the world.  Everyone is looking for love, but nobody is willing to give love.
Jeff: And sometimes they don't realize that the love is already there. Whenever you want us to meet and sit, we can do it.
Caballito: Remember, no plans for the new year.  Do not accept any invitations.  It's okay to go somewhere on the 1st, but not the evening before.  Nelson's mother is very strong.  Tell him not to worry, as she is not going anywhere until she sees him.  She wants to see him - but for all the wrong reasons.  Do not be too harsh with the young one (Gabe).  Be strong, but not harsh.  When the two of you were his age, you also did stupid things.  The next year will be one filled with surprises and mystery. Some of the surprises will bring the mysteries, and some of the mysteries will bring the surprises.  Those are the two words to remember - mysteries and surprises.  I wanted to have a session before the start of the new year to have everything in place to move the way it should.  This was the only door I knocked on that was open.  When will they realize that this is a door that cannot be closed?  No reasons are acceptable.  There are no excuses for someone not to help themselves.  When you close the door on yourself, you can only blame yourselves - so do not close the door.  The work does not stop.  I am taking 47 other spirits with me today, so you can write that down.  We are happy on our side to see you continuing the work.  Do not let the little things change your way of looking at the world.  Put them aside.  I am happy that I can continue my work, and now I have more work, so I must move on.  Thank you.  Keep smiling, even when it might be difficult or frustrating.
 

Nelson closed with a prayer.

Chicago - Feb 14, 2016

In attendance: Alex, Bernardo, Carmen, Denise, Emiliano, Erika, Esperanza, Jeff, Juan, Juanita, Maricela, Marisol, Nelson and Sonia

 

Marisol read the prayer for the sick and the prayer for the soul.

Marisol's shared that her cousin in Puerto Rico has not been feeling well.  Nelson was envisioning her as a short woman with a white complexion, but Marisol said it was not her cousin.  Nelson was describing the mother of the cousin, who resented the time that her daughter spent at the center in Puerto Rico.  Nelson described the mother and daughter as "oil and vinegar, because they do not mix well," and he understood that what the daughter does for her mother is never enough for her.  Marisol agreed.  There was a very complicated family dynamic at work, with a son who wasn't a saint getting lots of attention from the mother, while Marisol's cousin felt neglected und under appreciated by the mother.  To add more fuel to the fire, the husband of the mother died with an ugly past and many secrets.

 

Spirits 1 & 2 (via Carmen):  The group discussion caused a spirit to leap into Carmen to speak:
Spirit (pounding on the table): Shut up!   Who said you could talk about me?  That is my house, it's mine!  Mine!  You do not need to bother me - I don't bother you! 

Nelson: Now you are here, and you need to be respectful.

Spirit (irritated): I have the power!  No one does what I want them to do, but I am still strong. I want to see that child.  There is something that needs to be put into place, and I am the one to fix it.  They have destroyed it.  Mine!

(Nelson and Marisol continued to counsel the spirit in Spanish)

Spirit: I talk, and they do not listen.  It's their fault that I am going to die.

Marisol: You do not have a body...

Nelson: ...you only have energy.  But you think you are alive.

Spirit: My heart will not explode?  Everything has been said.  I am done, I cannot take anymore of them.  I'm leaving.  Someone else can take over.  Who is going to help them now?  I'm leaving.

 

Carmen's spirit guide arrived to cleanse her.  Nelson said that we needed to be careful with spirits like this one.  They are so alive in their minds, they think they are alive again in the material world.  This spirit was definitely male, and he was living through the mother of Marisol's cousin. Not everyone who dies in a family becomes an elevated spirit guide for those left behind.  In this case, the departed angry husband was the spirit influencing his wife.  Nelson cautioned that we should always ask a spirit who they are, why are they around us, and what they want before we trust them completely.  At the spirit center in Puerto Rico, the mediums were passing spirits that they assumed were elevated - but they were not.  Nelson recommended that Marisol's cousin should see a doctor, as she also has a physical ailment that needs attention.

 

Nelson spoke briefly to Juanita about her upcoming trip and the spirits.  There were some spirits present who did not want her to work, and they saw this trip as a way to stop her.  Nelson was also studying a group of spirits who were acting as if they were dancing at a large, lively party.  These spirits were related to someone at our table, and they were using their party as a distraction.  Carmen said she felt these spirits had been at her house.  Nelson agreed, describing the women as wearing hoop skirts and resembling the women from the Gone With The Wind film.  Bernardo was calling on these spirits, but when the dancing women arrived, he became fearful of them.  Bernardo admitted that he felt a presence in bed between himself and Carmen.  Nelson was shown the spirit of a beautiful, very sexy woman who thought she was still alive.  She was teasing Bernardo, putting her make up on as he watched, and reapplying it again in a different manner.

 

Spirit 3 (via Nelson):  The spirit had blonde hair, and Bernardo said that he told Carmen in the car that "the blonde one is coming today."  The spirit had finished with her make up, and she began to dance hypnotically for Bernardo.  She wanted to lure him into a room in the back.  Nelson moved back in his chair, as the soft spoken spirit arrived:

Spirit (moving her arms as if dancing with castanets): I'm the prettiest one.  I dance beautifully, it puts the men into a trance.  They only wake up when I tell them to (noticing Jeff), I will dance for the American, too.  I need to ask, as I am confused, I was somewhere, but now this place is different.  Where am I?

Marisol: look at the body you are speaking through...

Spirit: I was in an elegant house, but this is not that place.  (looking at Bernardo)  I was with him - my love! - let's go together.  We have to be together.  (looking at Carmen)  I do not like that lady, and the sad part is that we share the same name.  But he doesn't call you what he calls me.  (starts sing a romantic song)  I sing and I dance, and all the men stand when I arrive.  La, la, la. 

Marisol: You have a new place to do, and you will not need the singing or the castanets.

Spirit: Where will I go?

Marisol: They will take you to a place where you will be loved for who you are. 

Spirit (to Bernardo): Fine.  Don't look for me anymore, because I am going to go.  (to Carmen)  I have done a lot to you to make you leave, but you did not.  So I will go calmly, because this man (the spirit guide) is taking me to a party where I will realize who I am.  (to Bernardo)  Don't call me...don't call me...don't...

 

The spirit left quietly, taking three others with her.  Nelson said her scent was a toxic perfume, designed to be a love potion.  He advised Bernardo not to open the door to these female spirits - as it would be increasingly difficult for them to be removed. 

 

Spirit 4 (via Marisol):  Marisol was still looking at the spirit around Juanita.  Nelson had noticed this spirit with her many times, but the spirit never wanted to sit.  Marisol said this spirit stood by Juanita's bed, and his presence was formal and powerful.  He had an aristocratic air, but when Juanita tried to sleep, he would wake her up.  He was an abuser.  When it was hot, he made her cold, and when it was cold, he made her hot.  He was persuaded to sit through Marisol, and he spoke in a royal manner:

Spirit (polite but intense): She is my queen, my queen.  No one needs to say anything to me.

Nelson: She is Juanita, she is not your queen.

Spirit: You are making me angry.  (to Juanita)  When you are ready, we can leave.  We no longer need to be here.  She is my queen, mine.  Speak to me.

(Juanita counseled the spirit in Spanish, explaining that he must leave without her)

Spirit: Very well, I am removing her last crown.  I do not like being told that I do not have a body.  (the spirit guides showed him his body as proof)  So I was lied to.  I have been with her since the day she was born, as alive as she is.  I will leave with this man who promises to show me a new place.  I am leaving, goodbye.

 

The spirit left abruptly.  Nelson told Juanita that this spirit wanted to close off her spiritual thoughts, but now, when she returns from her trip, she will be able to work.

 

Spirit 5 (via Nelson):  Nelson sensed a spirit who had an odd question for Sonia: 

Spirit: Do you get pleasure from kicking people when they are down?

Sonia: No. 

Spirit: She says no!  But she is willing to help those who cannot be seen, and she doesn't want to help the ones she can see.

 

Nelson was shown a desert landscape, with sand all around.  Sonia was in an oasis in the middle, with lush green space and water.  She looked the same as she does now, and she was dressed in a long, Arabic style gown.  It was multicolored, with sheer shades of yellow and orange.  She was surrounded by lepers, with their hands reaching out towards Sonia, as if they were begging.  Sonia looked at each one individually, nodding her head no.  The conversation continued:

Nelson: Any time she wanted to help someone, it backfired.  This has happened so many times, and you have been betrayed.  Now you are apprehensive to try again.  But you cannot close yourself, as there will be those who are very thankful. 

Sonia: What do I need to do to earn it?  I don't know what to say or how to respond.

Nelson: There is a woman approaching you with a small girl.  You are wearing several bracelets, and you take one off and give it to the girl.  You tell her, "Take that and sell it; get yourself out of poverty.  Make a life for yourself."  The girl takes the bracelet and goes.  Another child arrives, and you tell her, "Not for you, you have not earned it."  There is an energy, a light behind you now in this room.  That light is telling you that you are sometimes as lost as those girls.  You want to have all the answers to all those questions that everyone asks you.  (Sonia agreed)  Call on your guide when you find yourself there.

Sonia: I have, but no response.

Nelson: He (the guide) has a very good energy, but he is also lost.  He does not know how to establish a connection with you.  I will go there and bring him here...

Sonia: Why has taken so long to connect?

 

The outstretched hands of the beggars were all the wrong hands - which is why Sonia never took them.  Her spirit guide was preparing to move into Nelson to give her his hands.  Jeff was asked to stand behind Sonia to help deflect the energy from the guide back into Sonia.

Sonia's Guide: I want to make this connection....(pause).....the connection has been made.

Sonia (arms reaching out): Thank you for the divine energy, I feel it!  From my head to my fingers. 

Sonia's Guide: We are no longer lost.

Sonia: Yes!  I thank you for that beautiful energy.  Like rays of sunshine, flowing.  I can see the colors!  orange, yellow, red.

Jeff: Like the dress.

Sonia: I see myself in that dress - it's a beautiful yellow near the top,

Sonia's Guide: Now we will be doing the work we agreed to do.  What a beautiful connection.  I am grateful and happy.  Your work with your grandson (Xaver) was the beginning of what you will do with others.  He was the start.  He couldn't become your your son in this life, so he found another way to be with you.  As your grandson.  And one day, he will lead you back to the son you lost.  Don't let go, hold him tightly.

 

The spirit guide drifted away, and Nelson returned to his seat.  The table spoke briefly about the unique experience. 

 

Nelson wanted Alex to know that his plans for Korea would happen.  It was new endeavor for him, but Alex should not be afraid - as he was not going alone.  Everything will work out they way he hoped, as long as he doesn't forget where he came from.  Alex was reminded to email his mother and sister to keep in touch.  If he needs help, he should ask for it - remembering that our group is his extended family, and we are willing to offer support in any way that we can.

 

Spirits 6 & 7 (via Marisol):  Marisol sensed an issue related to the blood with Carmen's new grandchild.  Marisol began to smell the putrid stench of blood.  "She had a baby that she shouldn't have had," Nelson lamented.  The male spirit decided to sit through Marisol:

Spirit (frustrated):  I will not give up.  I have it and I need to put it into her body (the baby), so they will take her to the hospital.  (Nelson described the object as a very small white ball)  I want her with me.  I will create an infection to put her in the hospital. 

Nelson: Why are you so angry with her?

Spirit (irate): I want to finish with her, and you will not let me do my work!  (looked at Carmen)  Busybody!  She saw it.  That devil took her (the baby) away from me.  We were supposed to be together.  Twice now, I was supposed to be born, and it wasn't allowed.  So this is for her! 

Nelson: Give that venom to him (the spirit guide), not her.

Spirit:  No, I am going to save it until the day when I can speak to her!  I am not letting anything go, but I will leave now.  I am not well.

Nelson: You are sick, and like that baby, you need a hospital.  A different hospital from the baby.  I know you wanted to come with her, but it wasn't possible - and you cannot be at the same hospital now.

Spirit: Maybe I will have a new opportunity if I give it (the venom) to him (the spirit guide)?  I didn't want to harm her, I just wanted to be with her.  The contract was for us to come together.

(Nelson and Carmen continued to counsel the spirit until he decided to go)

Spirit: I will go with this guy, but the contract is not broken.  Forgive me.  Goodbye.

 

The spirit was quickly replaced by Marisol's dancing spirit guide.  She chanted and clapped, thanking Nelson and Carmen for their work - and then she departed.  Nelson closed with a prayer.

Chicago - February 7, 2016

In attendance: Alex, Bernardo, Carmen, Denise, Emiliano, Erika, Frank, Esperanza, Gabe, Isabel, Jeff, Juan, Juanita, Maricela, Marisol, Milagros, Nelson, Ron, Sonia, and Xaver

 

Marisol read the prayer for the sick and the prayer for those who are no longer with us in the material world.  Nelson read the prayer for victory against temptation.  (The prayer in English: My God, I thank you for having permitted me to be victorious in the battle which I sustained against evil.  Allow this victory to give me strength to resist new temptations.  And you, my spirit guide, receive my thanks for the assistance you gave.  Allow that my submission to your counsel makes me worthy to receive your protection once again.)

 

Carmen said she had spent the week battling a spirit who wanted to kill her and Bernardo, with alternating good and bad days in which the spirit was present.  Bernardo did not remember telling Carmen anything about the spirit.  The brother-in-law of the Romero family (with the wounded head) went back to the hospital ER and he was sent home again.  He's sad and he doesn't eat.  Nelson advised Juanita not to visit him, regardless of who asks her, even if they scream and cry, and regardless of what happens in that house. 

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  Nelson described a long thin tornado in the house.  It appeared and disappeared, and the tornado wanted to trap the entire family inside.  The spirits causing the tornado thought that if they could involve others, everyone will be lost together inside.  Nelson was shown the spinning tornado filled with the faces of the frenzied Romero family members.  The man with the head injury wanted help, but he has always been unwilling to help anyone else - and whoever helps him now would be sucked into the thin tornado.  Nelson was shown a long skeleton key being inserted into a thick boulder.  It symbolized the locking of all the family together, so they could all die together.  This group of spirits went back several existences.  As Juan (the father of the Romero family) tried to explain that he treated all of his children equally; a stern, authoritative spirit spoke through Nelson:

Spirit: We are ready to do anything.  We will celebrate when they all disappear.  All I feel is hate.  Do not look at me or speak to me.  I was never treated equally!  Not when I was good and not when I was bad.  Why have you brought me here?  I am rotten form the inside with so much hate.

(Marisol and Maricela counseled the spirit in Spanish)

Spirit: Imagine a prison, with nothing to eat but scraps and rats.  And that man thinks he is sick and cannot move.  We were planning a bomb to take them all.  Lock them in the house, turn on the gas and light a match to explode the house.

Marisol: That is not possible.  You do not have a body.

Spirit: I know that!  And I know I am sick - but all of them are just like me - nothing works.  Sore hands, feet, heads.  This place they want to take me, everything will work again? 

Marisol: It's someplace where you will feel better.

Spirit: Vengeance has kept me alive with energy.  I am speaking, and it has been a long time since I spoke.  I have forgotten how to do it.  The memories, the headaches - all of them will go away? 

Marisol:  Listen to the ones around you.  Hate has made you sicker.

Spirit: I have to take what was mine.  That tornado was mine.  That man (the spirit guide) is good.  He speaks softly but firmly.  I'm going to go with him.  There were more than a hundred of us making that tornado spin.  It's 106 of us.  We are going to a hospital...

 

The spirit left with a shudder and Nelson changed topics.  He asked Sonia why her son (Xaver's dad) was reluctant to attend a session.  Sonia said that he believed in spiritism, and he had stated that he would attend - but he doesn't.  Nelson understood that the son feels the spirits around him, but when it becomes too intense for him, he calls Sonia for help.  He is also terrified of what he might be told, because he believes that some things are better left undiscovered. 

 

Spirit 2 (via Marisol):  A spirit who wanted to speak with Sonia's son was present.  He was sad and disappointed that the son was not available, and he was reluctant to trust his message with anyone else.  After some persuasion from Marisol, the spirit agreed to sit through her:

Spirit: Why do you insist that I open a door if I do not want to do it?  That's his problem, isn't it?

Nelson: You influence him.

Spirit: I scare him (laughed).  He won't come here, so I have to go there.  He runs to call her (Sonia).

Nelson: He also runs to the bathroom when he sees you.  We need to help you now, not him.

Spirit: I am tired of being with him anyway.  He sits, he thinks.  He thinks he has come to a decision (laughed) so he gets up, but then he does nothing.  We can't go there, wait, go there.  I'm stuck. 

Nelson: He frustrates everyone when he doesn't do anything...

Spirit: Yes!  It's a waste of time.  I put many things in his mind and he does nothing.

Nelson: You are not helping him.  What is it that you want him to do?

Spirit: I want him to leave.  Pack his bags and go.

Nelson: He cannot abandon that family again.

Spirit: He is a rock.  He won't move.  I am going to pack my own bag and leave.

Nelson: The years go by, and nothing gets done.

Spirit (to Sonia):  Whatever he does, it is his fault.  I'm tired and sad.  I'm sorry for her (Sonia) crying for him.  I'm going through that door.  I feel better.

 

Spirit 3 (via Carmen): The spirit took four others with him. A new spirit immediately moved into Carmen:

Spirit: I am so angry, because something has to happen, someone has to die over there.  I got here, and I was put to the side (had to wait to speak)!  Wherever I go, I am very important.  He (Bernardo) is another rock.  He puts it all on her (Carmen), and he does nothing, but it's okay with me because I get the power.  He knows that Carmen will resolve it.  Lots of time has been lost, and it has been very hard, but I like to bother her. 

Nelson: Today that relationship will be over.  You don't let her work.  You are going to take a trip.

Spirit: I don't want to leave!

Nelson: You need to take what is yours and let her keep hers.  There is someone (a spirit guide) to help you.

Spirit: They tell me she is a good person (weeping), and I don't want to leave her!  (long pause)  I am leaving.  I will let her go forward.

 

Spirit 4 (via Nelson): When he arrived today, Nelson sensed a large group of spirits who were present in the building.  They wanted to take the keys away from Sonia.  Marisol was shown a tower with a moat around it.  She said the situation was similar to plotting a war between the good and bad spirits:

Sonia: The ones I have heard, are they positive?

Nelson: No.  Remember Charlotte (the founder of the temple)?  I have never seen her again - until today.  So it's serious.

Marisol: It's all about money...

Nelson: ...and next to that is power.

(Xavier shared that he had a dream similar to what was being described by Nelson and Marisol)

Nelson: Charlotte wants Sonia to know that she should continue what she is doing.  Now I know why I had to read that prayer about temptation.  These spirits are really angry with me. There is one who is in charge, a real "know it all".  When they try to unmask him, he becomes even angrier.

Marisol: The spirits are using someone, a particular person from our group...

(A sly, confident spirit stepped forward to speak through Nelson)

Spirit: Come with me and find true power.  No one can see it unless I want them to see it.  My face is just what you see.

Sonia: We can all see through that.

Spirit: I don't care, I have the power.

Jeff: Why does that give you pleasure?  Let the others decide for themselves.

Spirit: I have just one duty, and I must accomplish it.  I know I am a spirit, so don't go there!  I only have one job.  I'm going to close it.  (smugly)  I know who I am, and I know what is on the other side.

Sonia: So take off the mask.

Spirit: I took it off.  I know this is my goodbye, I know that.  I was on the other side once, but they betrayed me.

Marisol: Tell me about that.

Spirit: They took my power away.  I know I have to go today, I know that.  Realize and learn, that's why I came today. I want you to learn that the other side has power, too.  We were very close to closing that door.  But almost doesn't count, does it?  There is no victory without that key.  Sometimes the ones who come through those doors have another agenda.  We have that power.

Marisol: A hidden agenda.  It's meant to keep balance.

Spirit: I don't want to see those old friends now.  You have no idea how many of us are here.  It's 2016, the same number as the year that these doors should close.  Hold on to that key, we were going to close it.

 

After the spirit departed, Nelson told the group that part of the commotion over the building came from a former member of our group who used to sit at our table.  That's why she has not contacted any of the other members by phone or email.

 

Spirit 5 (via Nelson):  The spirit of Charlotte had been observing our session, and she wanted to symbolically give the key to her building back to Sonia.  Charlotte spoke from a position behind Nelson, saying, "Things change, so we must change, too.  One day, we will celebrate these sessions upstairs (the second floor of the building)."  Charlotte was wearing a large ring, with a metal band to hold the stone firmly in place.  Marisol described it as similar to a staff, and she knew it symbolized strength.  Charlotte referenced the 23rd Psalm (https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Psalm+23&version=ESV), and Densie explained that it was often recited during the sessions conducted by Charlotte.  The spirit decided to sit through Nelson:

Charlotte (to the group): You must be very strong, and do not be afraid.  You are not alone, as this is the movement, the way it should move.  Where I am now, we are allowed memories, and they give me comfort.  I thought I had people in place to assume responsibility, but they were not prepared.  Instead of one power, there were twenty.  But I will be around - we will be around, a lot of us.  He (Nelson) was afraid to let me sit, but I took over.  He remembered me.  Do you think it was not planned?  It was well planned.  What they wanted was not what we wanted.  I knew what was needed for things to continue to grow.  It will grow more.  Always observe, and be careful of those who smile but do not represent what we say.  I am so happy to come here today!  Some situations were getting out of hand.  Keep that door open, and one day I will provide you with one of my speeches.  The exact same words with different sentences.  My heart is filled with love when I am allowed to say a few words.

 

Charlotte faded away softly, and Nelson asked how everyone was doing.  Juan said that he had experienced bad dreams earlier in the week, but he was helped by the passing of the earlier spirit (with the thin tornado).  Nelson asked Juanita if she saw the shadow of a man in her room (she did).  Nelson cautioned Gabe about his upcoming trip, stressing "Not all the dots are connected.  Be very careful.  If you are invited to something where you are not comfortable, say no."

 

Nelson closed with a prayer.

~ An Anniversary ~

It has been one year since this blog began.  For the mediums who are in a trance-like state (the spirit sits through them, using their body and energy to speak), it is often difficult to remember the messages they have delivered.  The spirit of the medium moves aside, which allows the spirit delivering the message to speak.  When a spirit is speaking directly to someone at the session, it is often confusing for the recipient to remember the exact words during their experience.  The notes collected here are an attempt to help both the medium and the recipient recall their spiritual experiences, but they also serve as a way for others to learn.

 

At one session, Nelson's guide (Caballito) suggested that I share the notes from the groups we have attended with others.  On December 25, 2015 as I was researching how to start a blog, Nelson was in another room.  He had no idea what I was doing, but his guide told him to go to his computer and type a message to send to me.  This was that message:

"As part of the writings on your new endeavor, use the Book of Spirits to teach the readers about spiritisim and all of the things you have learned.  You can find all of the answers to all of your questions about life, and how to guide your life towards improvement and happiness.  Copy from the book and insert what you think will help others in their life.  We will help you and guide you through it."

And on we go.

Florida, December 30, 2015

In attendance: Astrid, Gloria, Jeff, Nelson and Santiago  

 

Before the session began, Nelson's guide wanted the group to have a conversation in the living room regarding Astrid's recent visit to her doctor.  Caballito needed some additional time to prepare Nelson for what would happen next.  Astrid explained that she was waiting for the x-ray results, and she shared her experience from the previous night - when she woke up screaming from the sight of a very evil spirit.  At the table, Nelson's guide asked permission to spiritually perform "a material operation" on Astrid.  This spirit was targeting Astrid, but the spirit did not belong to her, it was from Astrid's daughter who lived above the garage.  Nelson asked for Gloria's help, and she was shown the spirit on top of Astrid, pulling out bloody teeth.

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  Nelson's guide explained that the daughter wanted to prove to herself that she had power over this evil spirit (and others).  As Nelson's guide prepared him for what would be happening, he spoke to the group:

Caballito: When we call on the spirits, we never know what will show up.  (to Jeff)  This is what you would be helping Nelson with, I know you were wondering. 

Gloria: If the daughter could get this spirit to destroy our group, she would do it.

Caballito:  Keep your hearts and minds open.  It will be ordinary, not a miracle.  It's something we do to benefit those who help us.  What is feeding the energy is not easy, which is why we need Gloria to work with Nelson.  We need to understand this friction between individuals is spiritual - nothing else.  Two enemies who came together this time to make peace, and they have not.  She (the daughter) likes the dark, risky side, and she is not prepared with the baggage that comes with that risk.  She is a danger to everything around her.

(Gloria was being shown the daughter as a screaming baby; as a spirit who did not want to come, she was forced into it)

Caballito: In her ignorance, she wants to take Astrid out.  Evil controls her thoughts.  When these spirits take over, that daughter is capable of anything.  She is capable of taking a knife and stabbing someone.

Gloria:  She has a group of spirits, she is never alone.

Caballito:  It's sad that there will be two more spirits tomorrow when this one is removed.  If she doesn't change, she has to go.  Astrid is not safe in her own home.

 

Nelson said that he had never encountered a spirit like this before, as it was pure evil.  The spirit knew he was a spirit, but because he had been called to action, he was only doing what he has been asked to do by the daughter.  He said that he had also done other things for her.  The daughter had a friend who committed suicide, and this occurred because she asked this spirit to do it as a dare - to see if he could really do it.  Nelson began to cry, as he realized the full intent of the daughter's rage.  "She is destroying all of you," Nelson said, "The family, your marriage, the health of her parents..."

Gloria: She thinks she is not wanted. 

(The enraged spirit sat through Nelson, and he presented himself as confident and in charge)

Spirit: I hate you, I hate all of you!  HATE YOU!  (imitating the daughter)  I don't want any of you telling ME what to do, I do what I want.  Nobody tells me what to do.  (to the table)  Who are YOU to call me here?  You are inferior in all aspects.  (imitating a body builder flexing his muscles)  Just to show you my strength!  How dare you invite me!

Gloria (strongly):  You do not have any power.  It's over!

Spirit:  That friend of yours?   (laughed)  He thinks HE can control me?  He is my enemy, he wants what I don't want!  I have done my share of many things.

Gloria: It's over!

Spirit (laughing at Astrid):  Why is she afraid of me?  So scared.  I don't like or respect you.  Do you know who I hate the most, as much as you?  I also hate my sister!

Astrid: I wasn't afraid, you just startled me.

Spirit: I wanted to finish all of it!  That man had to see me.  I have said what I wanted to say.

Gloria:  You are here with no power, and you're not going back there.

Spirit: You are wrong.  All of my energy, all my power, it comes from one source - her!  (the spirit laughed uncontrollably)  She and I, we planned and planned - with masks.  We cover and uncover, put the mask on we needed.  He (Santiago) was the easiest one, he's a fool. 

Astrid: We don't want you here.

Spirit: I know.  He (Caballito) is stripping me of my many masks.

Jeff: They were never yours.

Spirit (not apologetic):  I am going to go with my group.  He said he will take us where we belong.  There are more secrets.  I'm letting you know that we did a lot, but there is more.  (irritated)  I know, I have to go!  I don't like it.  There are 18 of us.  (to Astrid)  And we are taking those wraps you saw with us.  Be careful!  I came in here thinking I had power, and now I have nothing left.  I am taking all my wrappings.

Astrid: We are sending you with love.

Spirit: I have no love for you.  Interesting.  I have no love, because I don't know what that is.  I hope it's a good thing.

Astrid: I forgive all that you have done to me.

Spirit: Love.  What is that?  It produces things I don' understand...

 

Nelson shuddered and the spirit was gone.  Nelson advised Astrid to lock the doors when she and Santiago were sleeping, and Astrid replied that they did it every night around 11 PM.  "Do it earlier," Gloria advised.  Nelson explained that Astrid's other daughter who lived further away should not confront her sister who lived over the garage.  He was shown that Astrid and her husband were thinking about selling their house, and Nelson was told that it would be a good idea:

Caballito: The only way your daughter will ever learn is to be kicked out.  It is time to reverse what you have been doing.  (to Santiago)  It's time to listen to Astrid's way, for your health and your future years.  It's time for a little break from that situation.  Cut it.  Say to her, 'I am going to think about us, and you have got to go.'  You can say it with love, but it must be strong. 

(The conversation continued in Spanish, and then reverted back to English)

Caballito (for Santiago): Take a stand for healing.  (to Astrid)  Your body reflected that energy.  If your doctor finds something, ask him to be retested.  If that other friend - and you see that I still call him a friend - did something, do not take any unnecessary actions that are not needed.  Tell your doctor that you ate an apple that day, and it moved to your hip, whatever you want that results in being retested.

 

(for Jeff):  When you go to Puerto Rico, try to find the beauty of it.  When you find it, smile and call me.  What I have done here today is the beginning of the work that we do.  When you see me there (in Puerto Rico, at the session), I want you to explain in English what happened here.  The person I will do that work for will understand English.  And here you were, worried that the plane would crash, someone would die - don't over analyze it.

 

(for Gloria):  When Nelson is not here (in Florida), if I show up, do not tell me no.  If I come, please let me speak.  I am going to move to the side now, as there is more work.

 

Astrid updated everyone on the condition of Mike, a young man who was helped in a previous session.  He and his father moved, and Mike was in great shape, happy and walking on the beach. 

 

Spirit 2 (via Nelson):  The spirit of Norma (Nelson's aunt) was present, and Nelson was not expecting her, as he assumed she would be at the Puerto Rico session.  She looked exactly as he remembered her:

Spirit (for everyone):  Don't worry, you are not alone.  If all of you only knew that all you bring to the spirit world is the love - and the desire to help those you left behind.  (to Nelson)  Today I did what you used to do to me, when I didn't know you were coming, and you would just show up (at her house in the material world).

 

Spirit 3 (via Astrid & Marian):  Astrid began to pass a spirit in Spanish (a half sister for Santiago and Gloria named Carmen) and Gloria finished the message from the spirit.

 

Spirit 4 (via Nelson):  The spirit of Norma brought some madames with her.  These spirits were always a favorite of hers.  Nelson was shown a vision of Jackie, and she was surrounded by people talking and talking.  One of the madames spoke from a position behind Nelson:
Spirit: Jackie is like we are, but she likes to talk.  We try to keep her quiet, but she can't do it.  Talk, talk, talk.  (Nelson saw Jackie in her sister's church)  She should know better.  She's looking at people to see if she can give them advice - like a psychic - and it's confusing them.  The people she's talking to are wondering how much longer they need to tolerate her, and how long she will be around.  She is picking up so many spirits, and now what?  What will she do with them?

Gloria: I saw her at family gathering.  There's food, and her family knows she is a spiritist.

 

Nelson agreed with Gloria, as he saw her seated at a little table with a line of people waiting to speak with her.  The spirit of Norma said that she would remove three madames, as they were supplying Jackie with false answers, and Norma did not like to see the madames being used in this manner. 

 

Spirit 5 (via Astrid):  Astrid noticed a madame she recognized among the others (an aunt by marriage).  This spirit was very thankful as she listened to our session.  She spoke to the table through Astrid (in Spanish), and Nelson described her as, "a great medium who used her skills for the wrong reasons - and she charged money."  Astrid heard her say, "Thank you for taking me away from what I was doing, I am doing the right things now."

 

Nelson closed with a prayer.

Chicago - January 31, 2016

In attendance: Bernardo, Carmen, Denise, Emiliano, Erika, Frank, Esperanza, Gabe, Isabel, Jeff, Juan, Juanita, Maricela, Marisol, Nazario, Nelson, Ron, Sonia, and Xavier

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  Nelson visited Marisol's son last Monday, and he shared the experience with the group.  Despite his condition, Nelson saw Andres brimming with serenity, peace and grace.  There was a spirit of a king standing near the head of Andres' bed.  He was from a time when King Herod reigned (about 3,000 years ago).  In that lifetime, Marisol's son killed the king to overtake his kingdom and his family.  "We have a story, a history here," Nelson said, "and Marisol was also his mother at that time.  He took the kingdom to make her happy."  The difficult spirit of the king struggled as moved into Nelson to speak:

Spirit: Whoo...arrre you, all of you, to question me?  I am the king, you respond to me.  None of you can question.  If you have a question, you go down on your knees.  You are nobody!  You cannot even look at me! (shaking in his seat with absolute anger)  And I will only leave when I finish my job with him - when he is on his knees, asking me for forgiveness!

Marisol: He has asked you to forgive him.  He asks when he looks at you and cries.

Spirit (very intense):  Why...can't...he say it?!

Marisol: You see him - he can't move or talk.

Spirit: But we talk.  We talk.  I cannot understand why he can't say it.  He's crying?  What about my suffering?

Marisol: He's asking you to move on.  Forgive him - and me.

Spirit: It's hard to forgive the hand that killed me.  He betrayed me, and took everything that belonged to me.

Marisol:  So you do understand that you died?

Spirit: Yes, I know.  All I want is revenge.  When you are obsessed, you cannot see anything else.

Marisol:  Look at him.  Look.  Is he the same?

Spirit: I wanted him not to have one day of happiness.  Not a smile, even if it cost me my own happiness.  Today they tell me I am allowed to forgive myself and move on.  (crying)  I have not been able to say that I accept, but for my own peace - I am willing to say yes.  I don't want to be this way any longer.  I want to be able to move on.

Marisol: Love is a healer.

Spirit: I hope one day, he and I can embrace again.  We can say it is over.  I am so tired of feeling this way.

Marisol: they are coming to receive you as we speak.

Spirit: Yes, they are.  I see familiar faces.  They are taking my cape, my crown, my scepter. 

Marisol: You only need love.

Spirit: I haven't found that yet.  There's a lot of nice people here that I haven't seen in a long time.  Thank these men (spirit guides) for me, whoever they are - they have brought peace.

Spirit 2 (via Nelson):  Nelson spoke to Juanita regarding a situation that needed to be addressed.  There were secrets that should be revealed.  A brother-in-law had fallen, but no one really understood what actually happened.  He fractured his scull and he was taken to the ER, but now he was back home, waiting to see if surgery was necessary.  The mediums advised that this man needed to go back to the hospital.  He has headaches, high blood pressure, and he is diabetic.  Nelson's spirit guide recommended that he goes back to the hospital, and he needs to see a neurologist.  Juanita was advised not to get involved, "As there are big secrets all around, and that pot is very hot.  You will burn your fingers."

Spirit 3 (via Nelson):  Nelson inquired about Erika's health.  She responded that she was not eating much, mostly junk food, and she was still in pain.  She also had an issue with her blood not clotting properly.  Marisol wondered why she was not on a medication to help her blood clot, and Erika explained that she had a February 12 doctor's appointment to see what could be prescribed:

Nelson: If your mother made you a nice soup or a stew, would you enjoy it?
Erika: Probably not.  She keeps asking if I am okay, and it's annoying.

Nelson: So you want her to leave you alone, but you don't want to tell her that?
Erika:  It would hurt her feelings.

(A calm, quiet spirit arrived and sat through Nelson)
Spirit (rational and subdued):  Why ask her anything?  She is not going to tell you.  Nothing will change.  Do not do anything or try to help her until it is too late.  Then I will celebrate.

Jeff: What would you be celebrating?
Spirit: Total control.  She will do what I say.  I don't want her to think.

Jeff: Think for yourself.  Stop trying to control her thoughts.

Spirit: I decide what she thinks.  What she will say.  Don't tell her anything.  I am going to take her with me.  That's why I came here today, to take her away with me.

Marisol: That is not possible - you are not in a happy place.

Spirit: She likes it when she is with me.  She's mine.  She only responds to me, so don't ask her questions.  She's mine, and she always will be mine.

Denise: She belongs only to herself.

Spirit: I don't understand what happened.  I was okay ten minutes ago.  And now she doesn't want to be with me?

Erika: No.

Spirit: then I don't want to be near her.  I will leave with him (the spirit guide).  I'm just going to go with him, if she doesn't want to be with me.

Spirit 4 (via Marisol): The spirit quietly left, and Marisol began to study a presence she had felt earlier.  This spirit came in with Marisol from her home, and although she first perceived him as the king that Nelson passed earlier, she now understood that this was a different spirit.  Nelson asked Jeff to change seats with him, as this spirit was infuriated with Nelson:

Spirit (jumping up and attempting to hit Nelson):  What business is it of yours?  C'mon, fight me!  They brought me in tied.  She (Marisol) saw me, and I will not sit down.  I want to kill her.  They got in my way.  She gets involved in things that are NONE OF HER BUSINESS!  That other woman (the mother-in-law of Marisol), I don't like her either.  I bother everything.  I whisper in her ear - she saw me! - and now she's trying to figure it out.   I hate you (Nelson)!  I saw him there (Jeff) and I hate him! 

Nelson: Let me make a deal with you.  Go back and remove those things you left in that house.

Spirit: I do what I want to do! 

Jeff: Why do you want to harm that lady?

Spirit: I have nothing but hatred!  I've tortured her in every way she tortured me.  She is not happy.

Nelson: Why do you show her all those dead bodies?  Look at that guy in front of you, he's going to untie you now.  (Nelson silently moved behind the spirit) You were in a place where you were not allowed to do those things you wanted.  You will only be happy when you find yourself.  Take time, look inside.

Spirit: I am supposed to forgive her and move on?

Nelson: They (the spirit guides) are going to take you on vacation.  A nice vacation to relax.  You will learn to love and forgive yourself, not to worry about her.   When you return from your vacation, you can sit through me and talk to her (Marisol).

The spirit reluctantly agreed to go, admitting that he was tired and a restful vacation was something new for him to try.  Nelson's spirit guide (standing behind him) had some other specific messages:

(for Maricela):  Start writing down whatever comes into your head.  Express yourself through writing if you cannot do it by speaking.  Write it out, and you can come in on Sundays and give those messages here.

(for Bernardo):  The responsibility to speak up is yours.  That spirit in your home wants to talk to you, but when you run from her, she becomes upset - which is why she tripped you and made you fall.  You have allowed her to become materialized.  You like her there, and you are the one keeping her from leaving.  If she comes around again this week, you are the one who needs to cut off the relationship.

(for Erkia):  Don't wait until February 12 to see the doctor.  Call tomorrow and politely ask if there were any cancellations - and there will be one.  It's urgent.

Nelson closed with a prayer.

Kardec on Sleep

From Allan Kardec's The Spirits' Book

 

The purpose of sleep is to rest the body. The spirit, however, does not need rest. So, while the physical senses are resting, we, Spirits, partly freed from the body, enjoy all our faculties. Sleep allows us to renew ourselves both at the organic and the psychic level. While the body recovers the energy it spent during its waking hours, the spirit renews itself through contact with other spirits. From what it is given to see, hear, and learn in this state, the soul receives directives that come forth during the day as intuitions. Sleep, then, represents the temporary return of the exile to the true world; it is comparable to a moment of freedom granted to a prisoner. But, sometimes, just as in the case of an unrepentant prisoner, the Spirit does not always use its moments of freedom for its own progress. If it is inclined to wrong-doing, it will spend its time in the company of like-minded Spirits instead of in the company of good Spirits and it will go to places where it can give free rein to its desires. And suffering is increased.

 

At the close of each day, examine your conscience, review everything you have done, and ask yourself whether you have not failed in some duty, whether someone might not be within their rights to complain of you. Through this method you will come to knowledge of yourself and discover what there is about you that still needs reforming. If you examine your actions in this way every evening and pray for increased insight into your motives, you will find the strength to improve for God will assist you. Ask yourself what you have done and what your aims were in doing it. Examine whether you have done anything that you would criticize in someone else or that you would be ashamed to be known as having done. Also ask yourself this question: 'If I were to die now, would I have to dread the sight of anyone?' Further, consider sincerely anything you might have done against God, your neighbors, or yourself. The answers to these questions will either put your conscience at rest or show you some of the moral weakness you still have to eliminate.

Puerto Rico - December 14, 2016

In attendance: Carmen, Diego, Diana, Enrique, Eva, Ivan, Jeff, Junior, Lourdes, Luis, Maribel, Milagros, Nelson, Normita, Rina, Yiri

 

Nelson wanted to reiterate the message from Caballito regarding phones.  If anyone was expecting an important call, they should stay home for it and not attend the session.  On Saturday, Eva asked Nelson if we should be drinking wine or beer after the sessions, so Nelson asked his guide.  Caballito responded that as with most material world pleasures, it was fine in moderation.

 

Junior read a selection in Spanish from one of Mary's classes in Argentina.  It referenced the mediums who work in a trance-like state (similar to our group).

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  There was a very strong, extremely irate spirit approaching, and Nelson asked Jeff to coach him, as he would be speaking in English.  The spirit did not want to sit, and it took the spirit side a while to persuade him.  When Nelson mentally explained that the spirit could speak through him, the spirit said he was too small and puny.  This spirit was responsible for Marisol's recent fall (in Chicago):

Spirit (seething):  I almost had her! I'm so angry I couldn't finish it!  Almost! 

Jeff: Why did you want to harm her?

Spirit (frustrated):  I had a job to do!  Don't you understand?  I failed!  Now I have to tell my supervisor I failed!

Jeff: Who is your supervisor?

Spirit: The one who sent me to do the job -  don't you listen? 

Jeff:  You don't have to go back there.  Listen to those friends around you.  You can have a new job.

Spirit: She (Marisol) didn't listen!  Others have told her what to do, but she didn't listen!  I am not going with them (the good spirit guides) because they will take me where I do not want to go!

Jeff:  It's a nice, a very peaceful place.

Spirit: I know what is it and I know who I am.

Jeff: So you know you are a spirit?
Spirit:  I know I am a spirit!  I am more intelligent than you are.  You have your side, and we have ours. 

Jeff: But now you are here, and you cannot go back, so why not try something different?

Spirit (laughter):  I might as well.  The one who sent me is already preparing the next thing for her anyway.  Tell her (Marisol) that I said she is very lucky to belong where she does.  I wanted her dead.

Jeff: There are laws, and you got caught breaking one of them.

Spirit: So this is the 'other side'?  You are not powerful.  See me as I am!  (a powerful black man, about 6,4" and 300 pounds).  Look at me!  I did the pushing.  She was not allowed to hold onto anything (laughed, as he demonstrated her arms moving).  She had to take herself to the hospital! 

Jeff: You are strong - and I think you have a strong group with you.

Spirit: I have 15 more warriors like me, 19 madames, and 5 witches. 

Jeff: Take them all with you.

Spirit: I know!  I know what I must do.  Let her (Marisol) know not to keep that door open.  Be careful who enters that house.  There are many more.  Use caution. (The spirit departed as violently as he arrived.) 

 

Spirit 2 (via Mary):  A spirit (possibly her guide) briefly sat through Mary:

Spirit: This is the work!  Not the superficial.  This work is the number one priority. 

 

Spirit 3 (via Nelson):  Caballito arrived to cleanse Nelson, and he had a message for Yiri, Rina and Junior about Mirelsa:

Caballito: She is surrounded by dark spirits, and they are tormenting her spirit.  She needs tranquility, even though she is culpable and aware of what is going on.  She is too involved with going back to her previous life to try to find out what happened in her past.  Her family needs to shake her up so she does not do that anymore.  She needs to live in this life.  She says she is not sick, but she is very sick, with a distinct illness.  She needs compassion.  It's not an easy sickness to repair, like breaking an arm or leg.  She is not living in this existence, she is living in a world of ignorance.  It's an opportunity for all of you.  It's difficult.  She's looking for just a little compassion.

 

Caballito ushered in a very stubborn spirit who lived in obscurity.  The spirit was persuading Mirelsa not to talk ("no talking, no talking") and it was difficult to persuade her to leave.  Three different coaches counseled her, and eventually she agreed to go - and to take 14 others along with her.

 

Caballito replaced the spirit to cleanse Nelson once again.  He asked Junior to stand, with Jeff behind him.  Folding the towel, Caballito held it in front of Junior's eyes and spoke softly to him.  He kept repeating "pensar" (think) over and over.  The message for Junior was to think before he acts next time. 

 

Spirit 4 (via Nelson):  It became apparent to Nelson that our session would be one difficult spirit after another.  The next one was for Diana:

Caballito (to Ivan, Diana's boyfriend):  When you visit her house, what do you feel?

Ivan: It's always tiring.

Caballito (demonstrating, by slumping in the chair):  Is she apathetic? 
Normita: There is no energy.

 

Nelson was shown a tightly wrapped mummy, with very small openings cut into the bandages to breathe.  Diana's house was packed with all kinds of negative spirits - many mummies, and people who had hung themselves were scattered all around the house.  There were many other sick spirits.  Diana shared that her mother does not live in the house, she moved out and remarried, but Diana's relationship with her stepfather is strained.  Diana lives with her father and a frequent male companion, but she is not comfortable in the house.

 

One of the key elements in persuading a spirit to sit is for the person with the relationship to the spirit to speak up.  The spirits do not recognize our body, they are only attracted by energy.  When they hear us talk (about anything), it draws them closer.  Without many words from Diana, Nelson thought he should give up on passing the spirit.  A spirit passed briefly into Normita, and a spirit that had hung himself moved into Nelson to speak:

Spirit (painfully, as if he was choking):  With him, I am with him (Diana's father).  Chicken.  He won't do it.  Criminal!  (laughed)  Criminal!  Diablo!

Junior: That was in the past.  You do not have a body now to feel that pain.

Spirit:  Criminal!  It's still painful - after all that history.

(Note: The spirit worked on a plantation with Diana's father in a previous life.  The spirit was only given watery soup, and he was hanged.  There were 28 other hanged spirits in the house, and once the noose was cut for the revengeful spirit, he took the other 28 with him.  Nelson was shown that someone was hanged in the house in a past life - and possibly in this life.)

 

Junior asked Mary what was happening with her life, and she explained that she has been missing sessions because she has been busy cooking and cleaning for her parents.  Nelson reminded her that her spiritual work as a medium needed to come first.  When she wears herself out with household chores, she is tired and not prepared to channel the energy.  Nelson said it was not an easy task to be a medium, as there were often difficult choices.  He used himself as an example, explaining that some people thought he was unwise to leave his sick mother to travel to Argentina.  But the spiritual work in Buenos Aires was more important than sitting next to a bed in which nothing could be done.  And his mother was fine when he returned.

 

Caballito reappeared with share individual messages from his position behind Nelson:

 

For everyone:  When you are a medium, it is 24 hours a day.  There is no 'off' switch. 

 

For Luis (regarding the dream he had): In Spanish, no notes.

 

For Enrique and Maribel:  He was asked how his relationship with his dad was progressing (it was good, and things were okay).  Maribel was cautioned again regarding her daughter, as she likes to have things how she wants them to be, and she usually gets her way.  Maribel was given some coaching advice to help with her daughter, and she understood. 

 

For Eva:  Nelson wanted to caution Eva again in regards to her upcoming trip to Texas (she should not go).  There was a lengthy discussion involving Eva, her son Luis, and Caballito. 

 

Before the closing prayer, Caballito told Nelson that he would take 112 spirits that were from everyone in our group with him today.  Junior closed with a prayer.
