Florida - October 11, 2015

In attendance: Astrid, Frank, Jackie, Jeff, Gregory, Gloria, Nelson, Rafael, and Santiago

 

After the opening prayer, Nelson read a selection from Kardec's Book of Spirits on thoughts.

 

Nelson sensed a spirit who was happy to see Gloria.  "Don't forget what you know," the spirit advised her, "If you want things to go well, go back to your root, the real one.  Sometimes those thoughts are not the right ones.  If you get them, say they don't belong, keep only the good thoughts."

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  There was another group of spirits related to Gloria's daughter, and these spirits were angry because they were not being allowed to think for themselves.  They were frustrated.  The conversation switched briefly to Spanish and then back to English as one of the spirits moved forward to sit:

Spirit: Cannot speak.  There are many secrets.  There is a man with many masks, and he puts on the different masks - depending who you are looking for - but now he is taking all the masks away, to expose the real one.  It's very dark where we come from, it's dark even when you open your eyes.  I want to ask one question, how can he (Nelson) see me?  They are telling me that today is a celebration?

Astrid: Today you will get out of where you are.

Spirit: Many people go to that corner.  I cannot go back?

Jeff: No, you wanted to be seen...

Spirit: I can't leave until I complete my job!  (pointed to Glora) She knows that I almost got him!  (sobbing) Finish him, finish him!  Do you know what he did to me?  I fell in love with something that belonged to him.  I was sent to a dungeon, and I died without ever seeing light again.

Astrid:  That's over now and we want to help you...

Spirit: Do you know what it is like when all you think is to destroy someone?  I thought of nothing else.

Astrid: You were in that dark place because of your thoughts.

Spirit: He wants me to stop the burning.  That's all I have done, to make him suffer.  Little by little by little.  Isn't it a kick?  I'm laughing because I'm the one who needs the hospital now.  For a cure of the heart and my thoughts.  He wants me to tell you these words were mine from the heart, but not the body.  I don't understand it.

Astrid: Your body doesn't exist anymore.

Spirit: I am a very sick man.  They are giving me some juice for a little bit of peace.  I am taking everything away with me...

 

The spirit hugged himself and cried softly as he left.  Nelson's spirit guide immediately moved forward to cleanse Nelson and speak to the group.  He asked, "Why wait until we are in pain to ask for forgiveness?"  He wanted Gloria to move closer to the table.  Caballito spoke calmly to her, recommending chicken soup for a stomach issue that had been bothering her.  He also advised Gloria, "That one you are worried about will have a second chance, and he needs to make the most of it."

 

Returning to the table, Nelson's guide explained, "Some work is deep and not easy.  We needed to go down there.  He (Nelson) gets scared, but I tell him it is okay, I'm here.  Tell him we are working with his mother, and not to worry.  Caballito asked Frank if his vacation plans were canceled (they were), and he told Frank that it would be okay to take his trip now, as long as he doesn't stray far from the group.  Frank should not take any hikes on his own, as his body is not completely stable, and he could fall.

 

Nelson's guide spoke in Spanish to Santiago.  Caballito also wondered about Rafael's son.  Rafael was advised to invite his son for an extended visit.  Before the visit can occur, Caballito explained, "We need to clean the road, as it's filled with rocks, plants and dead things."  Nelson's spirit guide moved to the side.

 

Spirit 2 (via Nelson):  Nelson asked Jackie who was bothering her - or who Jackie was bothering.  The issue was with Jackie's friend, Mary.  Jackie was advised to try not to get involved with her.  There were spiritual spiders spinning webs all around Mary, making it difficult for her to breathe and causing her to trip and fall.  Mary felt these cobwebs.  One big spider was building a web around her, with 20-30 other smaller spiders assisting with the work.

Astrid: Why are the spiders tripping her?
Nelson: She is creating it herself.  She had a relationship with someone for an extended time, and now the renewed connection with that person (Mary's ex) brings the spiders.  The ex believes that if Mary dies, the house will be hers.  The ex already has someone else, but now she wants Mary's house.  Nelson was shown the ex injecting herself with something (possibly a diabetic?), while he visualized Mary brushing the spiders away from her arms. A spirit sat through Nelson:
Spirit (to Jackie): I don't like you.  If you get in the way, do you know what we are going to do?

Jackie: You need to leave her (Mary) alone.  Why are you trying to harm her?

Spirit: We haven't finished the job!  We cannot go back unless the job is completed.  They will punish us.  They will find us!

Astrid: There are people more powerful who can help you.

Spirit: We have to take the webs away?  I will be in trouble.  They (the bad spirits) don't come inside, but they re always outside watching us.  (pause)  They said they are going to put the blinds down.  (whispering) Quiet, don't say a word.  (pause)  We got it all, she didn't see us.  There are 24 of us, 25 with me. Tell that lady to open her house and let the air in.  We are going to a different place.  I'm terrified of that lady (Mary's ex).  Be careful with her...

 

After the spirit departed, Nelson advised Jackie to tell Mary to cut all the ties to her ex.  He also felt that someone connected to Astrid wanted help with their spiritual health and they were uncertain over how to approach Astrid.  This person was geographically close, and the matter was urgent. 

 

Spirit 3 (via Nelson):  Nelson sensed something for Gregory.  He might be opening the wrong doors without knowing it.  There were spirits present at our table who wanted to hear Gregory's voice.  Greg shared that he wanted to further his education and he has not been successful.  Nelson asked him, "How are things at home?"  The use of "home" did not refer to Gregory's residence, it meant his body.  A spirit was moving forward, and he wondered what was stopping Gregory from asking for help (was it ego?).  The spirit was a man, about 45 years old, and he looked very similar to Greg - but without a beard.  He was often around Gregory, checking on him to see how he was mentally, and if he was happy or satisfied.  Greg talks to this spirit but he is afraid of him.  The spirit has been patiently waiting for him, and he was his spirit guide:

Spirit: Tell him I am his brother (from a previous life).  I have waited a long time for this.  He was looking for this, something that is not material. 

(The spirit guide said his name was "Leo" and he asked Gregory to sit at the table)

Spirit (to the group): This is the beginning of something that we will all see later on.  (to Greg) You can communicate with me anytime you want.  Concentrate your thoughts.  I know we have a lot of work to do that you are not ready for yet.  I want to take those thoughts of your mother from you.  (the spirit stood near Greg)  My energy is soft, like my voice.  Your mother is going to be okay, so take that away, as it's hurting you. (the spirit placed his hands over Gregory's head)  Only let pure thoughts in your mind.  Remove those other thoughts by saying, "I don't think that way any longer."  With my help, you will do it.  We decided this before you came to this world.  Your main job in this life will be to help the spirit of our mother to understand humility and spiritism.  We have waited a long time for this.  I've been around, but you were not ready.  Now you are.  Find your way to any group to progress and learn.  This one I am speaking through started the same way - and younger.  You will be at that point soon.  I will be around if you need me.

 

The spirit thanked our group as he departed, and Nelson realized that Gregory was the person who was looking for spiritual help from Astrid.

 

Spirit 4 (via Nelson):  Referring to Rafael, Nelson's spirit guide said, "We have talked about everyone except our guest.  Guests should be treated special, but he is not really a guest.  He's an old friend who has been looking for a group like this one.  He is desperate for help, but not desperate enough to ask."  Rafael said, "Someone always needs it more than I do," and the conversation continued:

Caballito: He wants to ask for someone else.  He would like to have his father back to the way he was.  He wants us to pray for him (the father).  What is here today is for his father.  Lots of friends.  Tell him not to think what he is thinking now.  Stop thinking that the spirit world failed him.  We need to get that thought away from him.  Negative spirits get pleasure seeing him the way he is now - under attack.  He suffers by over thinking that he failed himself.

(Caballito was replaced by the arrival of a spirit who spoke in Spanish)

Spirit (cocky and arrogant): Why didn't he check the books to be current?  Where am I now?  So many liars.  Someone came for me (a bad spirit).  I have been waiting and suffering.  Every day we must behave.  There are too many like him, the enlightened ones who are not.  I have to hide.

Astrid: Not today, not anymore.

Spirit: You cannot believe everything the way it is said.  Liars.  (pointed to a tear in his eye)  Look.

Astrid: You need to interpret what you were told...

Spirit: I'm not going back?  Someone picked me up when I died, all dressed in black.  There was no love, and no talking.  We had to do whatever he said, and they were not good things.  And we did a lot.  Be careful of that man in black.  So we went to pick up the wrong one (referring to Rafael's father)?  We thought he could save us, and he couldn't save himself.  We couldn't find a seat in there, even on the toilet...I talked to that guy, but he never heard me.

 

The spirit began to see a light and a spirit guide, encouraging him to go.  The spirit understood, and he said that he would take a group of 89 spirits from all around the house away with him.  He left joyfully, almost dancing in his seat as he said, "We could not even lift our eyes with that man in black..."

 

Jackie saw the spirit of a short woman standing next to Rafael.  "We need to massage that spirit a little first," Nelson explained, "because that's that biggest bump in that road we spoke about."  Nelson said that the spirit would be taken away (because we saw her) and the good guides would work with her until she was in a condition to sit.  Nelson advised Rafael to just say "hi" to his ex-wife whenever he had an opportunity. 

 

As Nelson was preparing to close the session, Astrid saw the spirit of her mother next to Gloria.  Nelson closed with a prayer.
