Puerto Rico - (Weds) January 18, 2017

In attendance: Christine, Jeff, Junior, Lizette, Luis Jr, Luis Sr, Mary, Milagros, Nelson and Nydia

After the opening prayer, Nelson's guide wanted him to read another prayer.  Nelson opened the book to the prayer for someone near death, but Caballito told him to read the prayer for mediums who can heal.  Nelson did not understand why, but we realized later that it would become the theme of our session.

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  Nelson's mother was in the process of transitioning back to the spirit world, and what Nelson hoped for most was that his mother would not suffer.  His sister and younger brother took her to the hospital on Monday for an operation to remove four bed sores, and she never work up after the surgery.  She was now on life support, with six different machines to keep her alive.  On Tuesday, at 4AM on Tuesday, Caballito spiritually took Nelson to the hospital to observe two malicious spirits torture her while she cried and asked for the pain to end.  Caballito brought those spirits to our session, and they had assembled a larger group.  The spirits were laughing and having a party:

Junior: What are you celebrating?

Spirit: A fool!  He (Nelson) is a fool!  He didn't want her to suffer, well look at her now!  (extended laughter, which ended with the spirit sticking his tongue out in ridicule)  What you requested is NOT GOING TO HAPPEN!  (stamping his feet on the floor)  You pray, we heard it.  But we have an enormous party, with music and dancing, and she is suffering.  (more laughter)  We pinch her, to wake her up, and when we do, she says, 'Give me the phone, give me some water!'  (whispering)  She wants to go, and we will not let her. 

(Nelson was shown that he was not the only one praying for his mother.  The spirits of his two grandmothers [Philomena and Paula] and his aunt [Norma], were with there with the mother, and they were praying.)

Junior:  The party needs to end.  Terminado. 

Spirit: We don't want it to end until later.  (noticed something)  Mira, what is that?  They brought them here?  We left four behind, one at each corner of her bed to guard her while were here.  They (the spirit guides) must be intelligent to lure them away.  (sigh)  We will have to go with them now.  Like he prayed for her, I just want to be happy myself, so I will leave her tranquil.

Junior: It's a good invitation.  A better party.  How many in your group?

Spirit: So you are curious?  (bragging)  We have eight madames, myself, two matadors, and eight black people (a total of 23). 

After the departure of the spirits, the group discussed the situation, and Nelson shared something he was shown in October.  Caballito took him to the street where his parents lived, and the police had the road blocked.  Nelson had to stand five houses away from his parents house.  All five houses were dark, but his parents house was brightly lit.  Nelson pleaded with the police, because he understood that the house was lit because it was being robbed of something valuable.  As he watched, an ambulance arrived, and a stretcher was brought into the house.  Nelson thought it would be used to carry away what was being taken, or whatever was valuable from the house.  They did take something valuable away - his mother.  The ambulance attendants with her were the good spirits she knew from her current life - Philomena, Paula, Norma and Don Polo.  Last Friday, what Nelson was shown came true - as his mother was taken to the hospital in an ambulance, but Caballito had already shown him that she was not alone. 

Spirits 2 (via Nydia):  There was another group of spirits tormenting Nelson's mother, but as Nydia studied them, she realized that they  came from a different source.  Nelson's sister and his younger brother were being influenced by these spirits, and the spirits manipulated both of them like marionettes.  Nydia began breathing heavily, and rocking rapidly from side to side.  A laughing spirit arrived to sit through her, saying that Nelson's siblings were completely unaware of the spiritual manipulation, because they were so caught up with the material world.  The spirit was very insistent that he be allowed to continue.  Nelson spoke to him about the emotional side (with their efforts, the siblings believed the mother would not die), and the sentimentality of the situation (the tender feelings of love, nostalgia and compassion).  The spirit and his group of 35 agreed to leave.

Spirit 3 (via Nelson):  Nelson noticed the spirit of a baby.  Was this spirit also connected to his mother?  The baby was only one month old, and (ironically) it was a miscarriage that Nelson's mother had between the births of his two siblings who were being influenced by the previous group (the sister and the younger brother).  The spirit was a girl, and she was not harmful or bad.  She had been with Nelson's mother all along, ever since the miscarriage, and now she would depart with the woman who would have been her mom.  In our human journeys, things become attached to us, and they become a part of us.  When we transition back, those accumulated items travel with us, to be sorted out and understood on the spirit side.

Spirit 4 (via Nelson):  Nelson began to sense something for Lizette from a past life in Romania.  In that life, Lizette was part of a gypsy caravan.  Nelson wondered if she had ever been told of this past existence (she had not).  As the animated spirit arrived, Nelson began to dance and sway in his seat.  The spirit had long, beautiful hair, and she was dressed in several bright colors.  Everything she wore made noise - items on her belly and legs, and bells on her ankles, head and arms.  She kept clicking something similar to castanets with her hands to make even more noise.  The spirit spoke very rapidly, and she said she knew that Lizette was looking for some meaning in her life. The spirit had a small jar with bright red lipstick in it, and she opened it to apply more while she explained that her appearance and gyrations were able to attract many men, but in reality, she hated them.  "I'm dancing, but don't touch me," the spirit teased.  In that previous existence, this spirit was Lizette's daughter.  The two of them worked as a team.  The daughter had a baby, in that life and the mother was left to raise it.  The spirit of that baby from the past life, was now Lizette's granddaughter in her current life.  As she grows, the baby will want to have the carefree life of a gypsy (which was something Lizette also wanted in this life), and Lizette was encouraged to let her granddaughter explore it.  As the spirit continued to dance, she told Lizette that in that life, she was the one that everyone wanted.

Junior: That was in another existence, and now she has reincarnated to earth.

Spirit: no, no, NO!

Lizette: I don't want to be with you anymore.

Spirit (offended): She doesn't want to be with me?  I can make her happy...

Junior: That was in another place and time...

Spirit: If she doesn't want me, I see another group that will take me! 

Junior: Go with them and progress.

Spirit: Progress?  (applied more lipstick)  Are you sure she doesn't want me to dance?  If I progress, they will take away all of my jewels.  Look at my bag, filled with stones - rubies, emeralds.  So beautiful, and they are the only things I have...

Nydia and Mary told the spirit that she could take her precious stones with her if she agreed to go.  The spirit wanted to change her clothing for the trip.  She removed all the multicolored items, and changed into her favorite outfit - something with various shades of blue.  Nelson said later that it had at least ten different shades of blue, and it was stunning.  The spirit began to tear up as she said goodbye, but she was determined not to cry.  She left with eight dancers, six helpers, six women, one gitana (a female gypsy) and 21 gitanos (male gypsies).
 

Nydia was able to see the group as they left, and she told Lizette to be thankful for her "free past life regression, as I had to pay for mine."  Nelson was told the name of the Romanian city (Craiova, see below), and that the town was outside of the capital (Bucharest).  We were unable to find an example of the lipstick pot the spirit was carrying.

Spirit 5 (via Nelson):  Caballito was showing Nelson another spirit of another young gypsy girl.  She was learning something, as she hoped to be a part of some large, grand work.  Her message was also for Lizette,

but Nelson would not let her sit because he could not understand what she was saying.  She spoke another language, and she was not willing to use a spiritual translator, as she wanted the message to be in her own words.  Caballito removed her, and as it was happening, he spoke from his usual position behind Nelson:
Caballito (for Lizette): For this other friend (the girl spirit), she wanted you to continue your (spiritual) work.  I will take her and seven more.  It's often as difficult to teach (the spirits) as it is with the humans.  Look at the group in Florida.  They claim to have read every (Kardec) book, and they know everything.  Ask them the first sentence of any book, and they do not know it and have not applied it.  (to Jeff, in English)  Don't worry about him (Nelson).  I heard your prayer last night, and he is okay. 

(Next, Caballito focused his attention to Luis Sr.)

Caballito: How long has it been since you were a session such as this one?

Luis: About 40 years ago.

Caballito:  But now you find yourself at a point in your material life where nothing material makes any sense. You no longer want the keys to anything, you just want to find peace and tranquility.  (Luis agreed)  You have noticed the change within your son, and you want the peace he has found.  You cannot sit still now for more than 20 minutes without getting up.  It's a fire, a flame.  You have visited many religions, and the only one that ever made sense was this one.  (to the group)  That's why he is back.  There is an issue with your stomach, it is not fluid, not level.  Like a sickness.

Luis Jr:  The other family members in Chicago are all sick.  And my mother (divorced from Luis Sr) never gets sick.

Caballito (to both of the Luis'):  Now that you have found this, it is up to you to volver (come back or return).  You have been looking for the correct door, and now you have found it.  Stay with it, it's a distinctive door.  The conversations you had with your son, you noticed the change, and you wanted to go where he went.

Luis Jr: My older brother also wants to attend. 

Luis Sr: I am often too hot, and yes, I cannot sit still.  I want my life to run correctly.

Caballito: When all is said and done, he is a spiritist.

Spirits 5 & 6 (via Nydia &Mary):  Nelson explained later that Caballito's long conversation was intended to lure two different groups of spirits to sit at our table.  Mary stood and quietly stamped her feet.  She began to softly chant, "ee-ooo, ee-ooo," over and over.  At the same time, Nydia started to hum continuously ('hmmm...um...hmmm...um"):

Nydia Spirit (pointing at Luis Sr):  Devil!  Demon!  That stomach, we waited too long!  (very angry)  We waited too long, and now I am not going to let him go!  (laughed)  You see him as nice, well, he is not nice! 

(Nelson began to understand that the two spirit groups were related to Luis and his ex, Eva.  He wondered if the two of them ever had any communication, and Luis said it was limited, and painful for both of them)

Mary (clapped her hands as the spirit arrived):  She will make you sick!  She's sick since December.

Nelson (to both spirits):  He is a nice guy, why are you bothering him? 

Mary Spirit (chanting): ee-ooo, ee-ooo...I don't want him to get on that road (to spiritism)!  He caused me to have many feelings - of  desperation.  (to Luis Sr)  Stay where you are!

Nelson continued to counsel both spirits until they agreed to leave.  The group of 52 spirits with Nydia were spirits surrounding Luis Sr, and the group of 35 with Mary were with Eva, but they were having an effect on Luis Sr - as they were an assorted group representing, "anything that was not good."

Caballito sat through Nelson to continue his work.  He folded the towel tightly, and held it in front of Luis Sr's stomach.  He also used it on Mary's lower back.  He described her as carrying her mother on her back, and if this pace continued, Mary would end up in a hospital.  "They (her family) thinks they are sick and she has to care for them," Caballito said, "and she is the sick one."  After the healing, Caballito inquired about Mary's daughter.  "Does her (divorced) father help you to raise her?  Or are you alone?"  The daughter relied on her mother for everything, and she was worried that her mom would collapse and she would become an orphan.  The daughter was thinking, "If they harm my mom, I'm leaving - and they can have all of this mess."  Mary will bring her daughter with her to the Saturday session.

Caballito (addressing the group):  He (Nelson) always says he doesn't cure anyone, but he does!  He does!  Well, not him, but the two of us.  (to Luis Sr.)  Your stomach issue was a spiritual influenza.  Nelson doesn't want me to say that he can cure, but do you know how many times he has done it?
Jeff: I have been there many times when it happened.

Junior: I wanted to thank you for what was done with my eyes.  My vision has improved, and even my doctor cannot explain the change.  Thank you.

Caballito (to Jeff): Are you happy?  (he was)  Imagine that, Jeff is happy in Puerto Rico!  Do you want to tell them the story or should I?

Jeff: I enjoy the work and writing the notes.  You asked me twice to find the beauty of Puerto Rico, and I couldn't.  On our first night of this trip, I was exhausted when we went to dinner.  There was music, and Nelson was happily clapping and singing along with it.  I heard you say, "That's it," and I understood that the beauty of Puerto Rico was not something specific - it was the effect it had on Nelson when he was here.

Caballito:  And you Nydia, are you content now?  (she was)  You are from a family of spiritists, and it is your job to continue to spread it to the rest of the family.  (Nydia began to see the spirit of Norma)  Yes, Norma is here with me, and she wants you to know that it took you a long time to come back home, and now that you are back, and you have it again - take care of it.  Jeff, I will tell them something that you already know, but they may not know.  In Brazil, we have hospitals where spiritists work right next to the surgeons.  They work side by side, and it is successful.  In the near future, similar centers will appear in Puerto Rico, with the two sides working side by side.  (to Jeff)  Now do you see why Nelson has to keep returning to Puerto Rico?  Sometimes even he doesn't want to visit.

Caballito thanked the group for allowing him to work, and Junior closed with a prayer.
