In attendance: Alanis, Beatrice, Carmen, Diego, Helvia, Ivan, Jeff, Junior, Luis, Maribel, Milagros, Nestor, Nelson, Normita and Yiri

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  Beatrice was attending our group for the first time, and Nelson a sensed a spirit around her as soon as she arrived.  It was a very strong spirit of an angry male who felt abandoned.  The spirit was very machismo, and he was responsible for Beatrice's stomach pains.  As he arrived, Nelson began making blowing noises with his mouth and saying "diablo, diablo."'  Nelson also experienced chest congestion and indigestion (similar to how Beatrice felt), and the spirit made Nelson look down at the floor.  The spirit kept repeating that Beatrice was only his ("mio, mio).  In a prior life, she was married to this spirit, but he treated her as a slave.  She belonged only to him, and they lived in a castle.  Normita advised the spirit to ask questions of Beatrice, but the spirit did not want to give her permission to speak.  This very possessive spirit had been with Beatrice her entire life, and he said that because he loved her so much, he had never allowed her to be happy with anyone else.  Although the spirit did not want to listen, he slowly began to understand that his love was selfish - and when he realized that Beatrice did not want him around her anymore, he said, "This makes my decision making easier."  His decision to leave was "very difficult," and he insisted that the four children he had in the past life with Beatrice would go with him.  "We will all go, and we are all fine," he said as he left in a very aggressive manner. 

 

Spirits 2 & 3 (via Nelson and Normita):  Caballito arrived to cleanse Nelson.  As he was working, he focused on Luis, telling him that the road ahead for him...BANG!  Normita banged on the table with a brief message that interrupted: "It's not a secret, but you cannot speak of it!"  Caballito advised Luis to make a decision regarding his family that might change his entire life, but the freedom he would experience from that discussion would release him from being a prisoner.  "Say what you need to say," Caballito said, "And be who you are."  Caballito said it was similar to trying to start a car that would never start - because of one minor issue after another - and starting the car was the best way to continue down the road that Luis had already chosen.  Helvia offered some suggestions, and Caballito stepped away from Nelson.

 

Spirit 4 (via Nelson):  Caballito began to show Nelson a spirit who was in the material world with Luis in his current life.  After he passed, this spirit wanted Luis to transition into the spirit world to take care of him.  When he was unable to make that happen, Luis' relationship with the spirit became more complex. Nelson noticed the spirit when Luis arrived, and he realized that this spirit wanted to return to earth to be with Luis forever.  The spirit was now with Luis constantly, and he would not accept that he was dead.  The spirit was forceful and strong, and Nelson thought it might be better to pass him next Saturday.  Caballito said  it had to happen today.  The trembling, very tearful spirit sat through Nelson.  He insisted that love was love regardless of circumstances or situations, even if it was a "prohibited love."  It was difficult for Nelson to breathe, as he was very emotional.  The spirit did not understand why the love between two adults, "could be so difficult to be accepted in the world."  Junior advised the spirit that liberation from Luis would give both of them the satisfaction they needed to move forward in their two different worlds.  The spirit said that any separation would cause him "a grand pain," as he never had the chance to thank Luis and say goodbye: "How beautiful is love, and how painful is the silence when love is difficult" the spirit said painfully.  Junior advised him that the love he felt would never end.  The spirit had to go, but he could take that love with him.  The spirit took the opportunity to tearfully say goodbye to Luis, which left most of the room in tears:

Spirit: Thank you, thank you my friend.  (Nelson's head touched the table with intense crying)  Thank you for everything, for all of my existence.  Thank you for taking my hand.  Today...today is an opportunity.  Adios.  Such a profound love, I want to express it with my words, my heart, with my power...with many things.

Junior: Now it is time for your progression.

Spirit (to Luis, with great sadness):  Thank you, my great friend. 

 

It was very difficult for the spirit to leave, because he was filled with energy that was not really bad, it was just misguided and filled with selfish love.

 

Spirit 5 (via Nelson):  Ivan had a similar situation, with the spirit of an elegant lady around him who wanted to keep him all to herself.  The spirit disliked Ivan's current girlfriend, and Junior said she viewed her as unneeded competition.  Nelson understood that Ivan wanted to occasionally get away from everything, and to have some time for himself - not bothered by anyone - work, family, girlfriends.  Normita added that Ivan has been working to buy to car, to give himself a little freedom.  Caballito returned, with some words to help Ivan if he should decide to separate from his girlfriend:

Caballito: It is not love when there isn't any independence.  This is an opportunity for you, and it is time.  You may use my words.  Tell her that you need some time off for yourself, that you are in a transition.  Tell her you really love her, but you are attempting to know yourself better now, and that needs to happen before you are able to make any long term commitment.  Say it with compassion.  Do not be afraid, and if you need my assistance, ask me and I will be there with you.  I am going about my work (cleansing Nelson) while I am sharing this with you....

 

Caballito was quietly replaced by the elegant female spirit.  She wanted Ivan's girlfriend to be in pain, but she was laughing and joking about all of the things she has been doing to her:

Spirit (tightly holding two fingers together):  She feels a pain here, and over there, and another one in the back (demonstrated by jabbing her two fingers randomly in the air repeatedly), it is me!  She will be gone!  She's leaving.  Feo!  Flaco!  She is ugly (more finger jabbing and laughing).  

Junior: You no longer have a body, you cannot be with him.

Ivan: And I do not want to be with you.

Spirit (dejected):  You don't want to be with me?  (looked at Jeff)  Do you want to be with me?  (pause)  He (the spirit guide) is telling me I can give him one last kiss and I have to go.  (looked to the right)  I have three ballerinas with me, and I will take them.  Look at them, dancing beautifully.  (talking to the ballerinas)  No, we have to go.  Together.  All of us.  There will a party with dancing.  (to the group)  I will leave with 17 others and my three ballerinas...

 

Spirit 6 (via Nelson): Junior left his seat to use the restroom, and he asked Nestor to take his place.

Caballito said, "Look who they put in front of me now.  Well, well..." as he began to show Nelson another type of ballerina.  This one was inside a wind up music box, but she no longer danced.  When the key was turned, there wasn't any movement at all.  Nelson understood the ballerina represented Elena (Nestor's daughter).  Elena has her driving permit, and she wants to start driving alone:

Nelson/Caballito: No!  Nope, no, no!  Nope.  She will have an accident, no.  No car and no driving alone, nope.  (The message was repeated several times, and Helvia agreed and added to it)  She will be injured, and in a hospital. 

 

Nestor was in the process of a divorce, and his wife (Carmen) wanted Elena to become sick or injured, because she believed that if it happened, Nestor would return to her.  Helvia still had issues with her divorce seven years ago, and she coached Nestor on how to deal with it.  Nelson said that Carmen was willing to sacrifice her own child to save her marriage.  He was also shown that Carmen was praying for her child to become injured with a group from her church.  Nelson was shown them seated in a circle, and as they prayed, an image of Elena in a hospital bed on life support also appeared.  Elena was paralyzed, and she had to pull on a cord just to move herself into a seated position.  Nestor understood, as Carmen had told him that her church was praying for their marriage to reconcile, but she had not told him that she was willing to sacrifice their daughter - because she preferred being with him instead of her.  Nelson said the three of them lived separate lives, and that Carmen's methods were another example of selfish love.  There were many spirits around who wanted to see the injury occur, and one of them moved into Nelson to speak:

Spirit: Mio!  Mio!  Mine!  She (Carmen) is in the middle and he (Nestor) is mine!  Mio!  Nothing else is important.  Mine, mine, mine.  Nunca, nunca, nunca.  (to Nestor) I never leave you, I go everywhere with you, and you will be with me.  I will get rid of everyone else.  She will leave.  I am interested in nothing else, and nothing that anyone wants to say.

 

The spirit would not listen to the guides around her.  Nestor told her that he did not want to be with her, and she was shocked and confused.  Her plan for many years was for him to be alone - away from his mother, his wife, and child - so he could only be with her.  The spirit wanted him to suffer because he once left her in a past life.  Before the spirit arrived, Nelson thought her energy felt familiar.  In Florida, 17 years ago while Carmen was pregnant with Elena, this spirit wanted Nestor to know that the umbilical cord would be wrapped around Elena's neck and she would be suffocated.  Using the information from the spirit, Nestor was able to prevent it from happening.  The spirit had remained with Nestor for 17 years now, and her message today was that Carmen was never going to accept that Nestor would not return to her.  This spirit explained that she was Elena's mother in her prior life, and Nestor was her father.  Thiis was his second time as Elena's father, as he was her father (with the spirit) in her last life, and he was her father again (with Carmen) in this life.  The spirit delivered her message and left, as it was time for her to go.

 

Nelson said that all the spirits were difficult, but he was not exhausted after Caballito refreshed him.  He heard Caballito say, "Then let's do some others," but Nelson was tired.  There was something for Helvia with her husband that she divorced seven years ago:  "It isn't love, it's control," Nelson told her.  After a short discussion, Nelson closed with a prayer.
