Chicago - September 7, 2016

Marisol and her husband were standing in front of the ocean on the beach in Florida (as Nelson's spirit guide recommended in the Sunday session) and she received the phone call from hospice that her son had passed.  We had a memorial service for him at the center (see the next post).

 

In attendance: Emiliano, Esperanza, Gabe, Jeff, Marisol, Nelson, Sonia, and Xaver

 

Nelson described a spiritual battle that was occurring upstairs at the center.  It wasn't as if there was a war between two spiritual groups, it was more of a controversy over how to proceed.  Over the years, several different ceremonies were performed upstairs (marriages, baptisms, memorials) and the spirits who guarded the temple that Charlotte built were hesitant to let us have a service for Marisol's son in a place they considered as sacred as any church.  A guardian spirit of the temple explained that one of the primary reasons they objected was that no one ever asked their permission to use the church.  Nelson's spirit guide had brought his own group of spirits to explain the way we worked to the temple guardian spirits.  The ceremony for Andres would be similar to those in the past, but there would be no costumes (robes) or specific rituals.  The temple guardian spirits were all seated on one side, and Caballito's group was seated on the other side.  They were discussing how to work together to create a bond between the two groups.  The discussion process itself was a formal ceremony.  A spirit from one group clasped the hand of a spirit from the other group, until both groups were interwoven and meshed into one cohesive unit. 

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  A spirit representing the temple guardians told Nelson that Marisol was the catalyst for this meeting, "As we need to ensure that Friday is as memorable as before, because we understand the loss of a child."  There would have been much more apprehension, but most of the guardian group was female, and some of them had suffered the same loss.  An elegant, elevated spirit decided to explain more:

Spirit: They may have given you permission, but we have not.  You are mixing two things, and we do not like it.  We wanted to interrupt your plans.  If it was up to us, this was not going to happen.  They overrode us.

Marisol: Give it a chance, it might be for the better.

Spirit:  It's not what we expected - or wanted.  We did things one way.  We have been observing, and we know that you do things differently.

Marisol: It's still for the good.

Spirit: That's the override.  You said that, and yet we have seen others who have lied.  I wasn't sure.  All we ask is that you treat it with respect.  It's not that we think we are better than you.  If everyone here was asked to cook the same thing, the results would all be different.  Everyone does it in their own way.  We understand more now, because they (Caballito's group) showed us a different kind of light.  There are different levels of light, and what surprised us was that this was a light we had not seen before.  When that light came in here, it was more pure than our light.  So we stepped aside.  We will take those of us who are not at the same conscious level as we are, and we will remove them.  The decision has been made to share - what you call this, a center - with my group.  We will be observing, to assure that you treat it with love and respect.  Sonia - we know who you are, as you were one of us.  When we saw you again, some of my friends were not happy with you.  But now we understand more, and we are willing to pass you that key.  Hopefully the door will still be open to us.

Sonia: The doors will always be open for you to speak.

Spirit:  Thank you.  Don't forget us.  We are moving on, and leaving something better than ourselves in charge.  Thank you for allowing us to express our concern.  I am leaving with my heart open.  Until next time...

 

The spirit departed quietly.  Nelson said that the spirit of the founder of the temple (Charlotte) was with the group, and she also approved.
