Florida - April 30, 2013

In attendance: Astrid, Gloria, Gregory, Jackie, Jeff, Nelson, Pam, Santiago and Gloria's son   

For the educational portion of this session, the Gospel of Spiritualism was passed around the table, and various participants read random sections from the text.  The group discussed the idea of the coexistence of the body and mind (from the reading) and the ability of spirits to present themselves as different sexes.  The group agreed that the male/female guises were often necessary only for us in the material world, and that for some elevated spirits at a different level, they appeared to the mediums only as light. 

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson): Proving the point of the discussion, a spirit arrived who was at an elevated level.  Nelson perceived this spirit as serene light.  The spirit cautioned that we still have much to learn, and the message from this spirit was one of only peace, love, understanding and care.  We need to know that we are assured of love.  The spirit said there was only one message for us and if we wanted to know his name, we could call him this: Love. 

 

Brief Messages:

- When the group was previously seated in the living room, both Gloria and Jackie noticed a corner filled with monks.  They were planning something with Gloria's son and Gregory (her grandson), and Nelson warned them that they should not do what they were planning.  Gloria thought the monks were only interested in learning and observing.

- Jackie saw the man who passed away in Gloria's building standing behind her observing the table.  This spirit had finally been persuaded to leave the place where he lived.  Gloria said that when she reads, she often reads to him in an effort to offer comfort and knowledge.

- Gloria, Nelson and Jackie saw a man with glasses offering Gregory some sort of proposition and explaining the money that could be his if he decided to accept.

- Jackie saw Jeff's mom and sister signing papers and becoming involved in some sort of financial deal that Jeff was cautioned to avoid.  Both Jackie and Nelson saw the event eventually becoming disastrous.

 

Spirit 2 (via Astrid): A spirit for the table (named Maria) arrived.  She conveyed a message of love to the group in Spanish.  The group discussed the slow process of shutting down (and the disconnection from the material world) of Astrid's mom.

 

Spirit 3 (via Nelson):  Another Spanish speaking spirit arrived, and he stated that he was the twin brother of Gloria's son.  He felt as if he was abandoned when Gloria brought her son into the material world, because she kept her son and left him behind.  The group calmed him down, eventually persuading him to leave with the spirits who brought him. 

 

Spirit 4 (via Gloria & Nelson): An angry spirit was present, and he was connected to friends (former and current) of Pam.  Gloria was shown a hand placing a black gun in the center of the table.  This spirit was surrounded by other negative beings, and they appeared to be playing a version of "Russian Roulette".  In this game, when someone died, they were left to rot on the floor, with vultures and birds of prey picking at them.  The game was one continuous loop, it was all they ever did, and they appeared to be asking Pam (or anyone from the table) to join them.  Nelson, Astrid and Gloria cautioned Pam to disengage herself from these spirits, and Jackie saw many more entities moving into position to replace the expired participants.  Nelson and Gloria saw the spirits being swept up into a twister type of wind that removed them.  Jackie saw the sword of an angel creating the twister, and Nelson warned that although the group had been displaced, they had not been permanently removed.

 

Jackie closed with a prayer.
