Florida - October 9, 2016

In attendance: Astrid, Cookie, Gloria, Jackie, Jeff, Nelson, Rafael and Santiago 

 

Jackie read the prayer for the sick and the prayer for the suffering spirits.  As she was preparing to read a selection from Kardec's The Book of Spirits, Nelson began to sense an anxious spirit.  This spirit was connected to Frank, and he was fluttering around and talking nonstop about "unresolved issues".  After some additional questioning, it was determined that this spirit felt abandoned and left behind in the spirit world.  He believed that Frank should have been his father in this reincarnation. 

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson): Irate and confused, the spirit would not listen to anyone, and he could not understand why it was now too late for Frank to become his father.  Gloria wondered why the spirit didn't visit our group when Frank was at the table, and the spirit said he had visited, but no one offered him an opportunity to sit:

Spirit:  It's now a matter of revenge.  He (Frank) didn't let me come in, so I will take him down.

Astrid: You cannot do that.  You can bother people, but there are laws of the universe.

Spirit: I haven't left his side, and I am not going to leave!  They want to force me, but I don't want to leave.  I don't want to!  Nothing you can tell me will help me, I will not leave.  I am a lost, lost animal, soul, demon, whatever you want to call me.

Jackie (gently): But you are not lost.  God doesn't abandon anything.

Spirit: I don't believe in anything.  I want to bring him (Frank) where I am.  It's filled with darkness and hate.

Gloria: Your own hate put you there!

Astrid: We will get you out of there.

Spirit: Can you cover that light?  It bothers me.  (Note: The only light in the room was the candle in the center of the table, and the flame dimmed slightly.  The spirit looked at Jackie)  I have seen you there...

Jackie: Yes.  Just like I am helping him, I can also help you - to get out of that dark, miserable place...

Spirit: Everyone is sick where I come from!  Nothing but pain and crying.  The screams!  And no one ever shows up.  Why did they show up for me?  There are others screaming and yelling.  I asked for help, but I don't deserve it.  I yelled, 'Show up!  I am so tired (the spirit began to cry) please show up, please!' (shaking)  You don't know what suffering is!  He (Frank) promised!  (tearfully)  He said that he would rescue me, and he didn't!

Jackie: You are being rescued now.

Astrid: It is time to get out of there and feel better.  This is love.

Spirit: I am not going back.  Do you think I could talk to him one day?

Astrid: First, leave all that hate and anger behind.

Spirit: He (the spirit guide) said I have to pick up everything that belongs to me.  I was not alone, I had others who served me.  Tell him (Frank) I am sorry.  I'm sorry that I didn't have the chance to clear it all out earlier.

Jackie: That opportunity (to talk to Frank) will happen later.

Spirit (after a pause):  It's too much for me to take it all in.  He (the spirit guide) is helping me carry it all.  Don't forget about my friends back there, screaming and looking for help.  I am taking the fire with me.  It doesn't belong there (with Frank).  We are 18 (spirits) all together...

 

The spirit made some guttural noises and crossed his arms tightly under his face.  As he departed, he left Nelson gasping for air with his mouth wide open.

 

Spirit 2 (via Nelson):  Nelson's guide arrived to cleanse him.  As he worked on Nelson, Caballito told the group that Frank wanted to scream, "from the bottom of his heart.  If he feels like doing that, he should.  Tell him to let it out.  Push him to let it out."  Nelson began to sense a knot in Frank's stomach.  All of Frank's bottled up emotions were causing the knot, and Nelson was shown that it was similar in size to a ball of yarn.  There were veins reaching out from the ball, and Gloria sensed that the veins were feeding the knot.  As Nelson watched, he saw the veins being burned away by the good spirits.  "What comes out of there," Caballito explained, "is not nice.  If Frank throws up, it is okay - because that is how it will be removed.  (to Jackie)  Give him a chicken broth, with no noodles, just clear.  That is needed to close the little holes that were made when it was cut out."  The candle dimmed to a soft amber color as Caballito continued to speak:

Caballito:  They took it out.  It is gone.  A spiritual operation.  We do not need to suffer, we needed some dignity.  Tell Frank that when he feels alone, he should call on his spirit guide.  He will give Frank the strength he needs.  Tell him that there is one spirit that Frank is afraid of - and he should not be afraid.  Just because that friend is different, it doesn't mean that it is not good.  I will visit him, and I will take this one (Nelson) with me.  We are already looking forward to it.  (looked at Jackie)  And we will discuss your situation later.  You are trying to be the strong one, and you are not.  What if you go before him?  Why haven't you asked for help?

Jackie: I just do what I have to do.

Caballito: Don't let it shake your faith.  Pretending that you are strong does not help anyone.  I am a concerned friend.  But besides the stress, there is something else.  There are some other things for today, so I will remove myself to the side...

 

Spirit 3 (via Gloria):  As Nelson's guide stepped back, a spirit with a brief message burst into Gloria:

Spirit (with authority):  Jackie, you are a walking bomb!  You don't care, as you are so involved with him.  You think you are strong, but you cannot take care of everything.  Take care of yourself!  You are a walking bomb.  I am sorry it (the message) had to come like that, but I have been watching.  God bless you, Jackie.  Take care of yourself. Love yourself first.

 

Speaking again through Nelson, Caballito moved forward to address Jackie directly:
Caballito:  You feel all alone, I know that.  You think that your parents are gone, your sister lives in another world, your friends are disappearing - and now you fear that you may lose Frank.  You think, 'Why live?  Why stick around?'  It's what you think...

Jackie: You are right.

Caballito: If you advance something that should not happen, it is suicide.  We need to take that thought form you.

Astrid: We cannot stop living at will.

Caballito:  I am trying to catch a friend who has been putting those thoughts in your head.  (pause)  Your guides are trying to come in, but there is so much going on, that you do not let them in.

Astrid (tearfully, and possibly from a spirit):  You don't know, but in the mind of many, you are almost perfect.  Keep that image, and take it with you to the other side.

 

The table discussed the issue while Caballito attempted to soften up the spirit.  The conversation turned to Jackie's friend (MJ) who lived on a remote mountain in another state.  Caballito said, "There is a big resentment there.  Do you want me to go there?  She feels abandoned by you.  She is very ignorant on that mountain.  She calls things that she should not call.  She is opening doors that send things (spirits) where they do not belong.  When some people say that they love or care for you, what they really send is not good.  She (MJ) knows better, but she wants to test you."

 

Spirit 4 (via Nelson): Nelson was shown MJ standing by a fire pit, and she was tossing something into the fire to make the flames burn higher.  She sends that fire to Jackie, as a test to see if Jackie can cool it off.  "Let's see what she can do," Nelson heard MJ say.  Nelson saw her wearing a black skirt and dancing around the fire.  MJ moved the skirt up and down, in an attempt to summon someone.  Her goal was to have "more power" than Jackie.  She wanted Jackie to need her, instead of her needing Jackie.  Gloria heard a spirit guide asking Jackie to close that door.  MJ had a friend that she spoke with over the phone, and a spirit with this friend was having an effect on Jackie's stomach.  MJ and the friend would call on this spirit to do their dirty work.  Nelson was shown that some ashes of the dead were concealed in little black ball - and that was what MJ was throwing into the fire.  The spirit involved decided to sit and explain more:
Spirit (with enjoyment):  Chant, yell, laugh.  Let's see...let's see...  If she (Jackie) is still okay, we need to throw more into the fire!  We will control her from here.  (to Jackie)  You are NOT more powerful than me!  I'm the one.  I decide!  I'm the one.  I know more, and I'm the powerful one.

Astrid: How come if you are so powerful, that now you are sitting here?

Spirit: I chose this!  I was tired of that idiot trying to read my mind.  (to Jackie)  You said that you had power,

and I wanted to teach you.

Jackie: What are you afraid of?

Spirit: Nothing!  I came here because I wanted to - and I know I am a spirit.

Jackie: Why were you keeping her (MJ) from me?

Spirit (insistent): She belongs to us!  We need her to do our work.  We make them ours - we conquer them.  But I made a mistake today.

Jackie:  Curiosity got the best of you and you showed up here.

Spirit: And now I lost, because he (Caballito) closed the door and I cannot go back.  (slyly)  But I left other things behind to continue the work.  I thought today was a celebration - that I would finally get her (Jackie) - and I failed.

Gloria:  It's a day to leave her alone.

Spirit: I didn't count on him (Caballito) and the other one (Nelson).  I thought I could take him down!  Whatever place he takes me, I will have to make changes - and I don't know if I can.  (to Jackie)  I scared the hell out of you, but they didn't let me finish.  He (Caballito) is telling me I would have regretted it later.

Astrid: You are welcome here, but the time comes when everything has to end.

Spirit (reluctantly):  I am taking my fire, and my little black balls, and my six friends with me.  Six, what a number!  I am taking everything that belongs to me.  He is still an idiot.  He thought that he could convince me, and he did.  (long pause)  So I guess I am the idiot.  (to Jackie)  Keep that door with her closed.  I took mine with me, but there are more...

 

Our group discussed the importance of limiting our exposure and protecting ourselves.  Nelson shared a dream he had in which he was riding on a train.  The train was traveling around, collecting spirits at each stop.  Nelson was now being shown that the collected spirits were at our session as observers.

 

Gloria saw the spirit of a woman by Rafael.  She was dressed in white pajamas decorated with hearts.  She said she was Rafael's St. Valentine's date, and she explained that she had to be with him, "because his heart is empty". 

 

Jackie saw an island with a beautiful topless girl in a grass skirt.  The island was not Puerto Rico, Jamaica, or Haiti.  The girl was standing on the shore, waiting for Nelson.  "We are ready for him," the girl said, "He comes here to rest, and we give him what he needs.  He always comes back."

 

Jackie closed with a prayer.

Chicago - October 2, 2016

In attendance:
Bernardo, Carmen, Denise, Emiliano, Erika, Esperanza, Frank, Gabe, Isaac, Isabel, Janet, Jeff, Jose, Juan, Maricela, Marisol, Mary Elena, Milagros, Nazario, Nelson, Ron, Sonia and Xavier

 

Nelson had invited a group of spirits that were around his mother in Puerto Rico, and he hoped to encourage them to sit today by speaking to them before the session. Marisol read The Prayer for the Sick (see it here in English: http://www.spiritistphilosophy.info/28_33.html) after Nelson read the opening prayer.

 

During our Wednesday education meeting, the spirit of a doctor was present.  He wore a white shirt with gray pants, and he showed himself to Nelson before arriving at the center.  This spirit thought he had been summoned to assist with heart surgery for Bernardo, and he assumed our white tablecloths were in place to define the operation table.  The spirit was confused because he could not see any operating equipment, and Denise explained. "Our equipment is our minds and voices."  The spirit had his own surgical instruments, and as a good spirit, he was ready to assist us.  A month or two ago, Bernardo's doctor tested him and determined that he needed heart surgery to insert a stent (a tubular support placed inside a blood vessel to relieve an obstruction).  Bernardo was frightened and apprehensive, and the spiritual doctor had arrived to reassure him.  Carmen believed that the doctor may have been her father, as he passed away during his open heart surgery.  Our topic for the evening was "positive thinking" and the spirit told Bernardo not to be afraid.  After delivering his message, the doctor packed up his surgical instruments and promised to return.

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson): Bernardo revisited his doctor between Wednesday and our Sunday session - and all of his previous heart test results had disappeared.  Everything was blank.  Nelson said it was very easy for spirits to distract a human and cause the results to be erased.  Nelson wondered who might benefit if Bernardo's heart surgery never occurred.  There was a lengthy discussion about Bernardo's two bothers in Puerto Rico, and how they were hoping to inherit land or money.  The irony was that this disputed land never legally belonged to Bernardo's family, as his grandfather forcefully took the property from the natives who lived there.  Bernardo's upcoming surgery and the continued land dispute caused a spirit representing the natives from the land to sit:

Spirit: I will make them walk in the same way they made me walk.  This one (Bernardo) is the most fearful.  She (his wife, Carmen) should not even be involved.  I am charging all of them interest for the time they were on that land.  (to Bernardo)  I already have your father incarcerated, and I have additional jail cells for each one of you.  Why would you think that you would not pay for your actions?  You will pay me back!  All of you!  Cry all you want, I have no pity.  

Marisol: Listen to those (the good spirit guides) next to you...

Spirit: Everything was taken from me - so do not tell me that they were decent people!  No one knows the history.  I only know it because I got the incarcerated one to talk.  They do not have a home there!  Because they had the power at that time, we could do nothing.  If we spoke, we were killed.  I escaped, and I will be around that family forever.  I will be very happy when they are all in a cell, looking at each other.  Revenge will give us strength.  None of them had a heart - which is why all of their hearts are suffering now!

Marisol: Aren't you tired of those same thoughts?  Forget them, and join the others who are like you...

Spirit: Are you tricking me?  Because you will pay for it if you lie to me.  Should I give him (Bernardo) back his blank white heart?  Look - it doesn't even have veins.  They are telling me if I leave, I will finally be able to see my wife.  I will be on a land better than that one!  I will unlock him, and I am going far away from him.  I will leave, but I am not asking any of them for forgiveness...

 

The spirit took 14 others along with him.  Marisol started smelling a bakery, as if fresh bread was being made.  She asked if anyone had a connection to a bakery - until it was understood that the bread making ritual was related to Marisol.  Nelson saw that the Marisol's live in mother-in-law had some rituals of her own.  She would ask for rides and leave the house to conduct her business, because she did not want Marisol to see what she was doing.  She was also hiding mail that was related to her son's law school admission.  She made her son feel guilty for wanting to "leave her alone" by bettering himself. 

 

Spirit 2 (via Nelson):  Nelson understood that the mother-in-law controlled every family situation. Marisol was the only one she had been unable to control, because when she saw Marisol, she saw herself:

Nelson:  Keep one eye open with her...

Sonia: And have an extra eye open in the back of your head.

Nelson: She has a very dark past.  (Nelson was being shown a black cauldron, with the lid firmly closed)  We need to open that pot...

Carmen: I don't think we should open it...

(The spirit of a madame arrived to sit through Nelson)

Spirit: Do not mock me, I know more than her (referring to Marisol's spirit guide, who was also a madame)  Do not meddle, when I have not meddled with you.  I do my work, and I do it well.  If he goes to school, that would be two jobs - she has one and then he would have one.  The consequences of leaving her (the mother-in-law) alone are not my problem.  She pays me, and I go my way.

Marisol: There are other jobs you could be doing.

Spirit: I do my job for money, not for the benefit of humankind.  She lives very well, and so do I.  We have our potions, and they work.

Marisol: Maybe I can offer you something else?

Spirit: If it's not money, forget it.  In the world we live in, that's what we need.

Marisol: Listen to my guide...

Spirit: I don't like her.  She works differently, for no money.  She does have some light, and we don't have any.  What do I need to do to be like her?  She's always dancing and happy.  Do I have to leave the money behind?  It's so easy to trick people into giving it to me.  We work so hard, and still we have nothing!  And that lady (the mother-in-law) knows a lot - she teaches us!  I guess I will leave, but do I need to also leave my candles, incense and cards behind?  There are 24 of us, and two other madames with me.  I will put on my white dress, and I will go to learn new things...

 

Maricela said she smelled wet dirt, and Marisol said the smell of bread being made was gone.  Denise had sensed a spirit arriving earlier at the center, and Nelson said that many spirits came to our door, but not all of them were allowed inside.

 

Spirit # 3 (via Marisol):  Marisol was studying the group of spirits from Nelson's mother.  She sensed that Nelson's mother was very remorseful because she had promised to work with these spirits during this lifetime, and although she started the spiritual work, Nelson's mother did not accomplish everything she had planned.  Now she was sad that she would not be able to accomplish everything:

Nelson: That was her work, but I am here and I am willing to take on her spiritual responsibilities.  You are not abandoned.  Whatever you wanted to do that she did not allow, I am here for you.

Spirit (arriving through Marisol):  We don't know where to go.  We are lost.  There are a lot of us.  (sadly)  She was supposed to open the door for us, it was supposed to be our work!  Look at all of us now.

Nelson: Look at her now.  She cannot open that door, but I am here.  Come to my door - it's open.

Spirit: But we were supposed to work with her!  She feels the sadness and cries.  Will she be able to work with us?  She needs to know that she can still help us, even now.  Working with you is different.

Nelson:  She needs some time to understand, but she will be able to work with you again.

Spirit: They are going to take us someplace where we will wait to see her (on the spirit side) when she gets there.  Tell her not to feel so sad.  Do you understand?

Nelson: I didn't want her lost (in the spirit world).

Spirit: That is not our decision.  Just tell her not to be so sad.  They will take us to a place so we will not be so alone - until it is time for her.  Thank you for helping us understand that the work can continue in another way (the spirit left crying, with her head on the table).

 

Spirit # 4 (via Nelson):  Caballito had some questions and messages for the group.  He started speaking from his position behind Nelson, but he eventually spoke through Nelson.  He wanted to know how Erika's trip to see her brother was progressing, and Erika said that her days off were approved and she would be booking her flight soon.  Caballito asked about Juanita, and Maricela said her energy was getting better, and she had stood up twice, but her recovery was still a slow process.  Caballito said, "Her future will be beautiful."  Next, Caballito asked Janet how things were going, and she replied that she was feeling better and taking things slowly.  Caballito was curious about Frank and his daughter:

Caballito: Frank, are you taking care of your daughter?  That is what is important.  Sometimes we get so involved with other things, we can forget what is important.  Sometimes your daughter feels alone, and that has an effect on her.  Give her more affection.  You need her more than she needs you. She is happy when you are happy.  When you pray, also pray for her.  She's a happy spirit, so let's keep it that way.  We will take five spirits from her away with us today.  (pause)  It is not easy to take them away, they are fighting to stay.  We cannot let them sit and say what they wanted, as your daughter is not here to understand them.  (pause)  There are six spirits, not five.  Five with your daughter, and one with her mother.  Do not allow her mother to get so angry with her.

 

Caballito was speaking through Nelson, and he had a message for him.  He switched from Spanish to English, so Jeff could write it down:

Caballito:  I am going to say something that this one (Nelson) will not say.  Today is his last day here, and he is as sad as all of you.  He won't tell you he is sad, but he feels it as you do.  He has work in other places, and I am always here with you when you get together on Sundays.  You are not alone.  I need to make sure that these groups continue to grow - to do the work.

 

(for Jeff):  You did what I asked you to do?  (plan a trip to see his mother, but the mother did not want him to visit her)  She will come to her senses, but I needed you to open the door.  Leave it open.

 

Caballito spoke to Carmen in Spanish and asked for a towel to fold and place on her chest.  (no notes) 

 

(for Mary Elena):  You have been searching, and I will answer your question - but you are not yet ready for that answer.  We must prepare ourselves first.  So I will answer, but if I did it today, you would run out of here and never come back.  When that time comes for me to answer, you will tell me that it wasn't your question - and I will say to you that it was your question.  I will take away some bulk today (stood behind her to give her passes).  You have so many headaches from what those children give you.  That is a hint about your question.  Let that kid be, we will deal with him later.  Instead of crying, laugh.  Crying hurts the heart, so stop crying and look at each other - and be thankful.  I am taking eight spiritual friends away from her.

 

(Caballito stood in front of Isabel):  I do not want to see her crying anymore.  (to Ron)  You do not know this, but she goes alone to a corner to cry - where no one sees her.  Can I take that sadness away?  There is so much sadness there, even I am feeling sad.  (Isabel began to cry)  I am going to take it all away.  (to Ron)  What she does, when she cries, she brings spirits around her who are sad - and they never leave.  (to Isabel)  I need to ask you not to bring them around anymore by feeling sad.  If you feel sadness, open a book and read.  (there was a pause while the passes were given)  Just as I use Nelson, more powerful presences are now using me to do the work.

 

Isabel said that she worried over her husband's health, and Caballito said that the spirits would work with him, "And he will do the work he needs to do for himself.  (lightly)  You cannot worry yourself into joining me on this side - sorry, I had to lighten the mood."  Maricela thanked Caballito, and he responded by removing 122 spirits.  These spirits were an accumulated assortment, with some of them related to everyone in our group.  Caballito reminded everyone, "If you need me when Nelson is not here, call me. God bless you all."

 

Nelson closed with a prayer.

Find The Happiness In Wherever You Find Yourself

Chicago - Sept. 25, 2016

In attendance:

Bernardo, Carmen, Denise, Emiliano, Esperanza, Frank, Gabe, Isaac, Janet, Jeff, Jose, Maricela, Marisol, Milagros, Nelson, Sonia and Xavier

 

Before opening the session, Nelson was shown an image of two brothers.  One of them was about 14 years old, and this boy was torturing his younger brother.  The younger boy was afraid to speak up about what was happening, and Nelson was shown that if the abuse was not stopped, the younger boy (who was tired of living in fear), would find a gun and shoot his older brother.  The older boy thought he had an excuse for his behavior.  He told Nelson, "They treat him better than me, giving him everything when I get nothing.  They forget I am here."  It was determined that the older boy was autistic.

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  Nelson's spirit guide (Caballito) appeared briefly to explain that the current situation with autistic children would become much worse - as these children were becoming teenagers, and their erratic behavior was unpredictable.  Nelson tilted his head back and forth, as the autistic spirit debated if he was able to communicate.  "I am inside my own head," the spirit told Nelson, "and do you know how hard it is when you want to say something and you cannot?"

 

Spirit 2 (via Nelson): After the opening prayer, Marisol read the prayer for the sick.  Understanding that sickness could be defined as physical or mental illness, Marisol asked the group to focus on those who had any need "for love and care, and for them to know they are sick."  The difficult spirit wanted to sit through Nelson, but the spirit still thought he was autistic,  and he was convinced that he was unable to speak, which made his attempt to sit through Nelson even more arduous.  The spirit arrived slowly, with his mouth wide open, gasping for words:

Spirit (using the vocabulary of a child):  Ahhh.  I can only...ugh.  (the spirit began to cry)  Whis...what.  I didn't like it.  I don't like it!  I was put in a corner.  I don't like it...why not him?  I don't understand.  I hit myself.  I don't understand, why you can hear me?  No one gets me, what I think.

Marisol: It's not fair to hurt someone else.  You are a spirit without a body, and you are not there anymore. 

Spirit:  How can you hear me?  No one ever heard me.

Marisol:  You are using a body that can speak.  Who took your voice away back then?

Spirit: He did!  So now he is like me.  But I don't want to be there.  I want..I want to be free.  Normal.  I want to be normal (his crying intensified).

Marisol: And you can, if you listen to that friend next to you.

Spirit: There are many of us out there - a lot like me.  A lot like me.  I don't have to hit myself?  I can be free?  I want to be normal.  (pause)  That's all I want, to be normal and to be heard.  Take his hand, that's what you said?  I will take it!  I don't want to suffer.  Take me, take me please...aye, take me please...

 

The spirit departed as Nelson slowly recovered.  Frank explained that he worked with autistic children at his school, which prompted Caballito to return with a message for Frank and the table: 

Caballito:  Pray that they can be awakened, as they are in a very dark world.  Very few can arrive (from the spirit world) to help them.  When there is love and peace, we can get there.  That is the real work, to lift those in such bad conditions.  (directly to Frank)  This is why you are here.  You see them every day, and we are with you.  Prepare yourself and call us - so we can work with you to show them the correct path.  This is an epidemic (in the material world) and it is all spiritual.  They will never know what to do, as it comes from where we are from, not from your world of medicine and the body.  Frank, bring them (those spirits) here, so we can continue the work.  I wanted to briefly express this, as it is difficult work.  Thank you, and I will be right here if I am needed...

 

Spirits 3 & 4 (via Carmen):  While he was speaking, Caballito was also refreshing Nelson.  Carmen had been studying a spirit related to Janet's "nieta," Angelica.  Janet was asked to move to a center seat across from Carmen, in an attempt to encourage the spirit to sit:

Spirit: I gotta do something, something big.  Why did you bring me here?  I gotta do something big, to get attention.  I am going to do what I want.  I am going to kill him.

Nelson: Easy...

Spirit (to Janet):  I don't want to talk to her!  She stopped me.  She knows everything, but she cannot do anything because of me.  Blood will be flowing...

Nelson:  Relax.  Everything will be alright, there is no need for that...

Spirit: I already have something directly in my hands...

Nelson: You should let that go.  It's not a nice gift.  (pause)  They (the spirit guides) are slowly taking away your power.

Spirit: I am in battle every day.  So is she (Janet).  So you know what?  I am going to take that creature.  (pause)  Hmmm, there is a nice breeze.  I wanted to keep taking care of her, but I don't have any energy for it.  I have nothing.  I will leave.  I am not allowed to say anything else.  I will go with them.  They are telling me I will get what I need...

 

Carmen's guide sat briefly to cleanse her.  Continuing with Janet, Marisol sensed a spirit of depression and suicide around her.  This spirit had many problems, and he had already played a role in causing two previous suicides. 

 

Spirit 5 (via Marisol):  The spirit wanted more suicides to occur:

Spirit (irate and hitting the table): Damn it!  Diablo!  Devil!  Damn it all to hell!  I am here and I am going to show you who I am!  Get closer - and I will show you that you know nothing!  I want to strangle someone.  You know what they did to me?  I will show you.  (began to cry)  They sat me down and made me watch my only family get hanged. (crying intensified)  I was tortured!  It was the worst.  Always on different days, so I would suffer even more.  (sobbing with head on the table)

Nelson: Everything ends today...

Spirit: I was kept in a jail.  When they picked up a family member, I was forced to watch, to go.

Nelson: Everything in life ends.  And today you will see your entire family.

Spirit: I have also been responsible for some of their pain.  But I wasn't bad.  I don't understand how I can see them...

Nelson (to Janet):  Sometimes we come from a very dark past.  This spirit has been putting thoughts into your mind.  You need to get those thoughts out of your head.

Spirit: I am going to leave these ropes (for hanging) behind.  I am going to go see them, see my family.  I need to clean all those problems.  I'm sorry.  Goodbye.

Caballito (through Nelson for Janet):  You need to forgive and forget.  Move forward.  Open your heart and go deep inside it.

Janet: I'm tired of this sick world.

Caballito (to Jose):  Do you see how she is?

Janet: Maybe I will do what my family did.

Caballito: You cannot do that.

Janet: I need to see the purpose of it all.  I can't share what I think.  I don't care about anything.

Jose: But you don't listen...

Caballito: I need to change your way of thinking - even if it means leaving people behind.

 

Spirit 6 (via Nelson): Caballito wanted to change topics, as another spirit was prepared to speak:

Caballito: Have you ever known a "part time" mother?  She enjoys motherhood one day and rejects it the next?  (to Xavier and Isaac)  Do you feel heavy and weighed down?  (they did)  Does your house feel that way, like a cloud is always over it?

Xavier:  When I walk in, it's like a breeze hits me - a breeze of smog.

Caballito: There is something there that has never been resolved.  (Sonia has felt it, and she has prayed for the clouds to be moved)   She (the mom) left, but she left everything behind.  All the mental indecisions of life.  That place is filled with baggage.  Luggage that has accumulated.  No one wants to open those bags.  We need an independence day in that home - for everyone.

Sonia (emotional, to her grandchildren): Clean it for you.  Let it go.  It's so heavy in there.  So heavy.

 

(Caballito was replaced by a spirit who also spoke through Nelson) 

Spirit: Someone left, and we are looking for her.

Jeff: She's not there anymore.

Marisol: She is in the bags.  Maybe it's time to remove those?

Jeff: What is your purpose with her and that house?

Spirit: The one that left was not the one we wanted.  The father didn't leave.  I want him out.  Just give me some time.  I want him out!

Jeff: Did he do something to you?

Spirit: He is not a friend.  He blames everyone except himself.  He never looks inside.  That house belongs to me!  I am the owner, and everything in there is MINE.  I don't really want the house, I only want what is inside.  Those three boys belong to me.  They are tired of him, and he doesn't want them.  Kick him out and the kids are mine.

Marisol: Listen to that friend standing next to you.

Spirit: He's saying they are not my kids anymore.  Don't confuse me!  I came to talk to them and now I have to leave?

Xavier: That was in the past.  You have to go.

Spirit (tearfully): I only wanted to protect them.  The parents were never there.  You do not want to open that luggage!  You do not want to hear what is in there!  They call me a monster, but those kids are animals.  Where was he (the father) when they needed him?  (very emotional)  Don't leave them on their own!  I am going to leave, but if they are not cared for, I will fly right back here.  I will take all of the luggage (14 suitcases) with me.  They really are nice kids.  (weeping)  Protect them.  Next time I come, I want to see them happy and content.

 

Spirit 7 (via Marisol):  Our session was filled with difficult, emotionally draining spirits, and Marisol was sensing another very forceful spirit.  This spirit knew that his message had to be delivered in a compelling manner.  Too many reminders had been given to members of our group without any action, and it was time for a strong, very persuasive lecture.  When Marisol's uncle Cando was in the material world, this spirit was his main spirit guide:

Spirit (authoritative and angry): They called me Don Juan.  He (Cando) is still head strong.  Everyone has a mission, and he is suffering for it now.  I am being honest.  All of you lack the basics of spiritism!  You are all here to work, and this is an opportunity to clean yourselves!  Passing a spirit is only the first part - all of you are still dirty!  We need people who can work, who are not so tired.  We must work more, this group needs to progress.  And so do you, Carmen.  Progress and work better.  Pardon me, but I had to say these words.  Thank you for keeping the doors open, maybe I will return again - calmer.

 

Nelson reminded the group that spiritism allowed us to know things that helped to make our lives happier, and spiritism gave us a purpose or reason for our lives on earth.  And when we transition back, it will be the beginning of our real lives.  "Look around you," Nelson advised, "and you would be lucky to find one happy person.  We have this (spiritism) to show us who we are.  So be thankful - and a little more humble.

 

Jeff commented that he was surprised to have a visit from a spirit guide who spoke in such a harsh manner.  Caballito stepped forward with some specific messages, and they were delivered in the same strict tone as the messages from Cando's spirit guide:

 

(for Juanita):  It is time for her to pick herself out of that bed!  Sometimes a little pain is the only thing that makes someone strive to be more.  As she allows more time to pass, soon she may not be able.

 

(for Gabe):  He thinks he can hide - that I don't see it all.  He needs to learn that sometimes, not everything we need in life can be fun.  We get to a point in our life where it is time to grow up - and do the right thing.  You opened the door to spiritism, and now you know better.  Your mother told you that, earlier over the phone.  (Gabe agreed)  Listen to those words!  Your responsibilities will not go away because you ignore them.  You know the right things to do, so start acting that way.  Follow your mind and not your heart.  I need him to start thinking.  I keep repeating the same message over and over!  Thinking does not mean that you cannot still have fun.

Gabe:  Can you give me an example?

Caballito:  You want to call your sister and see if she needs something, but you think that your girlfriend may not like it. Do you understand?

 

(for Jeff):  Are you making plans to visit that one who brought you into the world?  Be prepared, it may not be a nice surprise.  Do the same as Gabe should be doing, and ask her, "Is there anything that I can do for you?"  That is why she is the mother and you are the son.

 

(for Denise): And how is your niece? 

Denise: She had a setback yesterday, but she needs to do the work on her own.

Caballito:  That friend comes from very dark places, and it is difficult for her to reconcile that life with this one. She will, but it is up to her to appreciate what this life offers her.  She has a lot, but she does not appreciate it.  And you need to know your own limitations.  Tell her you love her, but that you can only get to a certain line or limit.

 

(for Sonia):  It's getting close again to have that heart to heart conversation (with her son).  He still hasn't understood the message.  He has not realized that they are children - not adults.  He is still responsible, and he does not understand how far his responsibility goes.  Why wait until a situation is in front of us when we can avoid it?  Are there any questions?  Is everyone better than when they came in today?

 

(for Janet):  Your rope is very long, and it comes with many other situations.  But there is always an end to it, and that end is getting closer.  Otherwise, it will follow you into the next life.  They (her family) are responsible for themselves, but we need to worry about the others (the spirits) around them.  Your family needs you, you are their light.  Don't dim it.

 

(for everyone):  Take the love we have shown here today home with you - to work, and to your neighbors.

 

Nelson closed with a prayer.

Chicago - Sept. 19, 2016

In attendance:

Bernardo, Carmen, Denise, Erika, Emiliano, Esperanza, Frank, Gabe, Isabel, Isaac, Janet, Jeff, Jose, Maricela, Marisol, Milagros, Nelson, Ron, Sonia and Xavier

Maricela updated the group on Juanita's condition.  There was an insurance issue with her upcoming treatment at Rush hospital, and Marisol offered to help expedite the process.  Nelson saw a small white amoeba (the center nucleus circle in the drawing below) that was causing the issue with Juanita's leg:

Nelson thought that the amoeba was a material world issue with a spiritual cause.  On Friday, Sonia saw a similar situation with both of Juanita's legs.

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  After some coaxing, a forceful spirit sat through Nelson to explain more:

Spirit (rocking in his seat with his hands secured at his waist):  It doesn't matter what you do!  Let me go!  It's an eye for eye with her, and she cut my legs!  I want to see her the same way.  I had to use a walker.  I remember it like it was five minutes ago, and I do not forgive her!  I am only giving her what she gave me - he same amoeba that ate me, I am giving it back to her.  (Marisol counseled the spirit with help from Maricela)  There is no need to tie me up, I cannot walk out of here because I do not have any legs.  She cut them off!  Go back (to Juanita in the hospital) and tell her to suffer.  I have no compassion.

Marisol: But she is not the same one, the same person.

Spirit: She is like a monk now, but it's the same person.

Marisol: She is sweet and compassionate now...

Spirit: Not with me!  She wanted me to separate myself from something, and I had to leave.  She won that battle - but not this one.

Marisol: It sounds like both of you lost.

Spirit: If I leave her, will I get my legs back?  It's shameful that I must call for help for everything.

Marisol: Just listen to the those guides around you...

Spirit: He was the one who tied me up!  but I want to be fine again, so I don't need help from anyone.  (pause)  I am convinced, I am getting my legs back.  Now it (Juanita's situation) is not my fault.  Good luck with that...

The spirit doubled over in pain, and left Nelson unable to feel his legs.  Six spirits were removed.  Nelson stood up to reestablish the feeling of his legs.  "Spirits who are hateful and want to cause pain are capable of  doing this work," Nelson said.  Xavier shared that he had felt flushed and hot right before the spirit arrived.

Spirit 2 (via Carmen):  Carmen was sensing the spirit of Cando, and he had a brief update for our table:

Spirit: I want to say very little.  I am enduring, slowly.  I will always come back (to this group), but my energy is not there yet, so I cannot help now.

Nelson understood that Cando's visit was encouraged by the removal of the spirit from last week who set the fire that killed his son and three others.

Spirit 3 (via Nelson):  Nelson asked Janet is things had improved in her house, and she replied that she had a feeling that it would be better, as her daughter and her family were planning to move out. The conversation continued as Caballito spoke from his usual position behind Nelson:

Caballito: Realize that it takes no time at all to get something dirty, but it's often a long process to get it clean again.  Sometimes you have the solutions in your hand, but they are difficult to implement.  Do not feel bad or think about it twice.  A word said correctly is better than one not said at all.

Nelson was being shown a desert landscape filled with thorny cactus plants.  A small pathway was being opened for Janet to proceed. Although she might be hesitant with so many thorns in her way, the thorns were soft and plastic - and they would not cause any injury.  Janet was alone on the path, but Jose could follow her lead once it was established.

Spirit 4 (via Sonia):  When Carmen was passing Cando's spirit, Sonia envisioned Carmen entangled in spider webs.  A spirit wanted Carmen to know that her message was similar to the one that Cando delivered:

Spirit (strongly): Let go!  Your progress is slowing because you are so busy taking care of other petty issues.  No more!  Continue the real work...

Spirits 5 & 6 (via Marisol):  While the spirit with Sonia was speaking, Marisol was also being shown spider webs.  These cobwebs were related to Nelson's niece (Mirelsa).  Marisol saw her seated in a corner with her head bowed, completely covered with a thick layer of spider webs.  Marisol asked why she was in this condition, and she heard a spirit reply, "Payback."  It seemed as if Mirelsa was quickly going downhill, and Marisol saw the situation as very bad:

Nelson: She is more curious about the life she left behind than the one she lives in now...

Spirit (jumping into marisol and hitting the table):  Devil!  Diablo!  Devils are all around me.  Oowee, oowee, oowee, I don't want to see.  (the spirit turned the chair around to face the wall)  Cover me with a blanket, I'm dizzy and I want no light.  (Nelson saw the spirit huddled in a dark cave filled with ugly animals)  They are coming for me!

Nelson:  Today you will see another light.  You do not have a body, so you do not need to be afraid.

Spirit: It's dark in the cave - and I am scared.  what am I going to see?  Who can I trust?

Nelson: Talk to my friend (spirit guide).  Look, he is clearing away all those cobwebs so you can see the stars and the light.

Spirit: But what if I come out and something happens?  I want to go where I can't see those things (the spirits who had disguised as deformed animals in the cave).

Nelson: Don't go with me, go with him.

Spirit (after a long pause):  I have never seen that light.

Nelson: Because you were selfish - with no compassion for anyone.  You and she (Mirelsa) come form a very dark place.

Spirit: I feel sorry for her now.  She is living what we did.  I am going away, to be happy...

A total of 14 spirits were removed, and Nelson understood that his niece had "no compassion for herself."  Sonia started to describe something she was shown when the spirit sat, but she was interrupted by the arrival of Marisol's joyful guide.  Her spirit guide wanted to celebrate Marisol's "return to work of her instrument," as she danced and clapped.  After she stepped back, Marisol recommended that Nelson's niece should consume wheat grass juice once a day.  The doses should be divided, with one ounce taken each day.  The wheat grass can be mixed into any juice,and the dosage should gradually increase to two ounces a day.

Sonia shared that with the spirit for Mirelsa, she was shown a silver lock with a thick leather strap.  Once the spirit was removed, it was unlocked and Sonia saw a head floating away - and a purple heart.

Nelson asked Janet more about her oldest daughter.  Caballito told Nelson that Janet's granddaughter was able to see spirits, but she has not really told anyone about it:

Janet: She sees and hears things, but she doesn't know what they mean.

Sonia: She's putting up a front.

Nelson: Has anyone talked to her about spiritism?

Janet: She was raised with it, but she gets scared when I try to talk to her.  They put things into her head, and she acts on it.

Marisol and Nelson understood that suicidal spirits were around the granddaughter, and Janet confirmed that there was a suicide attempt.  The spirits surrounding this girl were too strong to sit.  Prayer was recommended until next week, combined with a gradual softening up from the spirit side.

Spirit 7 (via Nelson):  Throughout our session, Nelson noticed the spirit of a very proper woman who was primly seated in a chair near the back of the room. The woman was formally dressed, and she never moved from her seat.  After observing our session, the proper lady decided to speak.  She was Jeff's mother from a prior life, and she whispered a message regarding his mother from this life: "Don't get involved."  Jeff's mother confused the gas pedal with the brake earlier today, which resulted in her driving into a wall of her church:

Spirit (dignified voice):  I have done something that I should not have done, but it was a payback - for something that was stolen from me.  (to Jeff)  Don't get involved.  I have been protecting you for a long time from that woman.  What are those notes you are taking?  Stop it immediately - we have servants for that.  What a horrible paper.  Yellow!  What happened to you?
Jeff: What happened to you?
Spirit: I asked first.  What manners!  I should send you to your room like I used to do.  That other one has influenced you.  I raised you as my own - she had to go.  She was a servant!  I felt like I needed to protect you, so she was banished.

Jeff: She came back.

Spirit: Who allowed her to do that?  She became your mother again.  I almost got rid of her today.  I'm afraid that I did something not very ladylike.  You look exactly the same.  You even speak and move like me.  Wait, why was I brought here again?

Jeff: To understand that it was another life, another time.

Spirit: To let you go?  Oh no, no, no!  Give me a second, the servants are removing my hat.  That veil was in my way.  They are trying to tell me that I must let you go.  Be cautious, as I will no longer be able to protect you.  I protected you for so long - with all my servants.  They called you a lord.

Jeff: Thank you, but it's time to move on.  How many servants?

Spirit: Oh, I don't know.  I will have to count them, from three castles.  Those servants looked out for you.  You deserved the best, even though everyone was afraid of you.  Whenever I had something unpleasant to accomplish, I gave it to you.  There are 48 servants, I have finished the count.  They are busy packing everything up for me to take with me.  I must wait while they roll out a red carpet, as I do not step on the ground.  I was only protecting you from her.  (to the servants)  Don't forget to roll up that carpet to take with us...

Caballito returned to close the session with some brief messages from his position behind Nelson:

For Marisol's husband (Ernie):  From the two law schools he is considering, the one with the nearest location is the one he really wants.  If he pursues it, we will help clear the way.  And again, one day soon, he will walk in here with you.  He no longer feels those energies that were around your son because they are removed.  But now he knows they were real.

(Xavier shared that he had a dream last night about Marisol and her husband in a car)

Caballito asked Erika if the trip to see her brother was planned.  Erika said that they would visit Japan and Korea together from mid-November until Thanksgiving.  Erika was apprehensive over getting lost or missing a connection, and Caballito wanted to reassure her:

Caballito: Everything will be fine, and you will have the time of your life.  Do not allow any negative thoughts to intrude.  This has been (spiritually) planned for a very long time, and there will be many good things from this wonderful trip.

Nelson closed with a prayer.

Note: During her visit, the proper lady hinted that the existence she shared with Jeff was in Edinburgh, Scotland.  The 11th century Edinburgh castle now houses the crown jewels and the national war museum:

The first Lord of the Isles, was named John MacDonald (Lord of the Islay).  In my current existence, my true last name is "McDonald" (my mother remarried after I was born).  The Lord of Islay looked like this - very similar to how I look now (but with less hair!):

Chicago - September 11, 2016

In attendance:
Bernardo, Carmen, Denise, Emiliano, Esperanza, Gabe, Isabel, Isaac, Janet, Jeff, Jose, Maricela, Marisol, Milagros, Nelson, Ron, Sonia and Xaver

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  After the opening prayer, Nelson read the Prayer for the Recently Deceased, and just as he did last week, Caballito extended the prayer once it was finished.  Nelson had been smelling smoke from a fire all morning - as if wood was burning.  After a short discussion prior to being seated at the table, it was determined that what Nelson was smelling was related to a house fire that took four lives.  Marisol's uncle who was now in the spirit world (Cando) was married with one son when he and his wife divorced.  Cando remarried, and his first wife (Olga) had additional children with another man.  After a while, Olga was planning to leave the father of her children, as she was considering a return to Cando.  If the father could not be with Olga and her children, he wanted to assure that no one would ever be with any of them - so he deliberately set the house on fire, and he watched as the family burned to death.  This man later died in another fire, crawling on the floor in an attempt to escape.

 

Spirit 2 (via Nelson):  The spirit of the arsonist was present, and he was the reason for Nelson experiencing the thick stench of smoke. Nelson was shown an image of the mother trying to shield her children by covering them with her arms.  Maricela had a similar vision of the family huddled together in a corner, and she said that we could not help them until we helped the spirit of the man who caused the fire.  It was difficult for Nelson to let such a criminal use his body and energy.  Caballito gently explained that the spiritual repercussions from the man setting the fire were excruciating.  The four lives lost in the fire were reliving their last moments over and over, the man who set the fire was still burning, and Cando's spirit was unable to progress, as his son died in the fire.   Nelson began crying in agony as the spirit arrived:

Spirit (remorseful): Aye, aye, aye.  The things we do that we can't take back.  I would do anything to take it back, and I can't!  (sobbed)  How are they going to forgive me?  How?  How can I ever move away from being burned?

Jeff: You need to understand why you are burning.

Marisol: Ask for forgiveness and support to redeem your soul.

Spirit: I see them.  I see them and I want to go to my knees and say how sorry I am for what I've done.  I know they (the spirit guides) are going to take me, but I want to ask for forgiveness.  I wasn't willing to share what I thought was mine.  How wrong.  I thought this way no one else would ever have her.  I've been tormented, I haven't had one second of peace.  It's an eternal fire. 

Marisol: God is merciful. 

Spirit (shaking his fists up and down in front of his chest):  They told me that some of you here knew her, so I wanted to say I was sorry, I am so sorry!

Marisol: Ask for a way to redeem your spirit.

Spirit: I know my time here is short.  I can liberate them, those I harmed.  (pause)  They are free now, but I will never be free.  (listening to the good guides near him)  If they are free, then one day I can be free? 

 

The spirit jumped in his seat and left.  Nelson was shaking, but the smoke smell had vanished.  Janet shared that after he lost his son in the fire, a change came over Cando - as he felt guilty over not being able to save his son or the others lost in the fire.

 

Spirits 3 & 4 (via Carmen):  A new spirit was emerging, and it was related to Denise and Lisa, her troubled niece.  On Wednesday, Lisa set Denise a text implying that she was going to end her life:
Spirit (authoritative): I need your attention, everyone needs to pay attention to me.  I am almost done!

Nelson: What is your message, my friend?
Spirit (insistent): Denise needs to take care of me!  I'm always here.  I do not have a body, but I can do a lot of damage.  (Denise began to cry as she understood the impact this spirit had on her niece) 

Denise: My attention was with you.

Nelson: Lisa is an adult, she has to take care of herself.  (to Denise) Neither one of you can stop the other.

Spirit: I am just starting with her...I want to see her all chopped up.  She will not let go of that knife she has with her.  Chop her up in small pieces.  Ouch, I have a pain in my neck!  We are going to that hospital...

 

Carmen's guide ushered the spirit out and sat briefly to cleanse Carmen.  Nelson was being shown that this spirit died by hanging herself from a tree.  She had 12 other spirits with her - six who had mental issues and six others who did not.  When Denise found Lisa, she was clutching a tree branch that extended over the river.  Nelson was shown that the water she was attempting to drown herself in wasn't even as deep as her waist.  Lisa needed to stay on her medication and if she did not, she needed psychological help or an institution.  Caballito returned to explain that Lisa never had any intention of ending her own life. 

 

Sonia had been shown things while the spirits of the arsonist and the suicide spirit were seated, and she wanted to share them with the table. With the spirit who caused the fire, Sonia saw the silhouette of a lady standing behind the male, with her hand on his shoulder - as if she forgave him.  Sonia could not see their faces, and Nelson said it was because their faces were burned off.  Sonia also saw the tree that Lisa was clinging to when she was found.  She saw it as the tree of life. 

 

Nelson explained the ongoing issues with his niece in Puerto Rico (Mirelsa).  She was in a very dark place in her previous existence, and her current life was a way for her to advance and to help those spirits from her last reincarnation.  Without her medication, Mirelsa saw those previous spirits, and she went back with them to where she came from - which caused her to run from them, screaming in fright.  The pattern of these self-induced spells was repeated over and over, and it was damaging her physical health.  Mirelsa was thirty years old and she weighed only 80 pounds.  When Nelson spoke to his brother about the situation, he envisioned his niece in a coma condition, with her mind in one world and her body in another:
Sonia: It has to do with the weight.  Her body will shut down.

Nelson: We have been trying to get a past life regression with a doctor for her.

Marisol: It's what she needs.

(Update:  The appointment for the past life regression is scheduled for September 23. Nelson had previously asked for some help from his guide, and Caballito moved into Nelson to answer)
Caballito:  We do what we can.  Be strong, because it is going to happen.  There is nothing you can do.  It is the same for you, Denise.  Let. It. Go.  You must be the one who says (to Lisa and her entire family) that you are not going to run anymore.  Please stop.  The next time everyone wants to run, tell them that you will only take one step at a time - because you know better.  You know this.  Set the example.  Love the way that you are doing it is not love.  Where are her parents?  WHERE ARE HER PARENTS?

Denise: Her dad was with me all night.

Caballito: So why were you there? 

Marisol: You could sign the hospital papers and leave...

 

Spirit 5 (via Sonia):  The discussion with Denise caused a spirit to move into Sonia to speak:

Spirit (to Denise):  How many times do we need to tell you?  How many?  I have a headache from saying it.  How many is enough?  If you are not already crazy, you will be soon enough.  Just take this headache away, because it is not mine.  Stop crying...

Caballito (to Denise):  If you continue doing what you are doing, YOU will be in a hospital - and nobody, do you hear me, nobody - will come to see you.  Take care of yourself first, because you cannot stop others from doing what they want to do.  Pack some clothing and live in your car if necessary - because you cannot live the way you are with her.  Do you understand?  DO YOU UNDERSTAND?  Live under a bridge if it's the only way to keep your mind sane.

 

Marisol noticed a spirit earlier who was peeking into the room but seemed too frightened to enter.  Caballito explained that we had many visitors on Friday for the memorial service, and they came with spirits attached to them.  Some of those spirits were now curious about what we were doing.  Similar to the humans who attended, the spirits felt a calm peace in the center.  Isabel said she noticed a light shining on one wall, but when she looked again, the light was fading.  Caballito explained, "The energy of the guides who are here to protect caused that light you experienced.  The whiter the light, the stronger the energy."

 

Spirit 6 (via Nelson):  The conversation about light prompted the spirit of Charlotte (the founder of the temple) to arrive.  She wanted Sonia to know that after the memorial on Friday, it was she who turned off the lights - using Sonia's hand. Nelson was tired, and he hoped that Charlotte would communicate from a position behind him, but Charlotte wanted to express some things in her own words:

Charlotte: Be careful when you speak, as it represents who you are.  Yes, there were many friends here, and some of them were invited and some were not.  Those who were not invited, we will take them away today, with us. How nice for others to perceive and receive what we have put into place!  I was happy to see those candles lit, as we did that, too.  (to Sonia)  I want to be really honest with you.  At one point, I did not think that you had what it takes (to run the center), and now I know that you do!  You took my place, and I am so happy to pass the torch to you.  This man (Nelson) was so stubborn, he did not want to let me sit!

Jeff:  Sometimes he is apprehensive...

Charlotte:  Say it - stubborn!  He is stubborn!  You see how quietly I speak, and I know you understand that it was not easy for a woman to build this place.  (softly)  Do you know what I did to get everyone to focus? This!  (hit the table loudly with her fist)  Do you see how that works?  (did it again)  As for those people you were discussing, those who want to come here - I never closed these doors to anyone, and it would be wonderful.  This is for all, not just for a few.  Invite some friends, and tell them the doors are open as long as they are respectful.  (to Marisol)  And if you are not ready for your son to leave, he is welcome to stay here with us.  I know what you were thinking, and we will watch over him for you.  Thank you....

Puerto Rico - May 14, 2017

In attendance: Bey, Christine, Diego, Eva, Ivan, Jeff, Junior, Lourdes, Luis, Nelson and Nydia

 

Prior to the opening prayer, there was a group discussion on how everyone was responsible for their own actions and destiny (that conversation became the central theme of our session).  After the opening prayer, Eva read a prayer for mothers and Lourdes read Kardec's prayed for the mothers who have passed on.

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  Nelson asked Diego about his dad's condition, and he responded that it was not good, but he was uncertain over that the doctor said.  The conversation continued:

Nydia (regarding the health of Diego's dad): It's his responsibility - nobody else.  It starts and ends with him.

Diego:  He likes to be in control, to give lectures.

Nelson:  I am seeing a plantation.  It's in Spain.  He was the owner, and he had many workers.  Whatever he said, it was done (and he expected the same response in his current life).  On this plantation, if someone did not do what he said, he fed them worms.  They had to swallow the worms alive, so the worms would slowly eat away at the insides of the person.  That's why he has lost half of his intestine, and if he doesn't change, he will lose more.  The two of you (Ivan and Diego, his son in this life) were with him.  Ivan, you were just below him, and you took over the plantation.  He resented that, which is why in this life he thinks that Ivan has nothing from him - appearance, the way he acts.  (Nelson began to choke, and it was hard for him to swallow.  He felt like vomiting)  Diego, he sees you differently than Ivan.  You like to do things that no none can see.  Keep secrets (Nelson demonstrated by hiding his face in a corner of the tablecloth.  There was more violent coughing, and a spirit arrived to sit through Nelson.  He looked at the floor as he spoke:)

Spirit: Demon!  Devil!  Where is that demon (the father)?  Such a criminal.  Where is he hiding?  Criminal!  I'm his friend, I am his very good friend.  (Junior coached the spirit until he was calmer)

Spirit: My primary concern is with the meal.  We were three 'Los Brisas' (the last name of the father, Ivan and Diego in their prior life), we were numbered I, II, III.  Now I have a hunger and I cannot eat.  (began to cry with pain)  Aye, aye, aye.  What a devil!  So evil.  The doctors cannot stop the pain.

Eva: Its a manifestation of cause and effect.

Junior: How many in your group? (15)  All of you are invited to a school to learn...

 

The spirit left suddenly with his group.  Nydia recommended a prayer, and Junior added, "He needs to get on the right road." 

 

Spirit 2 (via Nydia): Nydia's spirit guide arrived with some words for our group:

Spirit (very valiant): God bless you.  My spirit is happy with the work.  It's a constant evolution.  This was a demonstration of cause and effect, and the need to study spiritism. You need the correct instructions for your lives, for happiness.  It's freedom (somos libres).   It's not physical, it's emotional.  We are all prisoners of our own thoughts and actions because we are unwilling to change.  It's an evolutionary process.  I want to thank all of you...

 

Spirit 3 (via Nelson): Nelson was idly staring at a hill, and as he watched, it slowly became a mountaintop.

Nelson (to Christine):  I'm not interested in looking, but I see you on that mountain - nude.  You are breathing in the fresh air, and you are very happy.  You are communicating with everything around you - talking - and the conversation is very interesting.  Everything is so beautiful, it's like you are having a conversation with God.  There's the spirit of a young girl with you now.  She wants to be your daughter. Her spirit is as free as yours, and she is grabbing your hand.  She's not wearing any shoes, she feels free.  She grabs your hand because she wants to show you things, and she is a very pretty spirit.  She was brought here because she understands that she has to separate herself from you - to start the reincarnation process to be born as your daughter.  It's so beautiful, and she is a very intelligent spirit.  She has been visiting you, but she knows that she cannot do that anymore, as she has to prepare herself (the spirit moved into Nelson):

Spirit (adorably childish):  This is life, this is what I enjoy!  Que linda, que linda la vida!  I want to be with you, but (distracted) mira.  Mira, what a flower!  Look!  Such nectar!  What a beautiful mountain. I am very content to have this opportunity to ask you something.  I talk to you a lot, and you never hear me.  (the spirit began to cry as she realized that what she wanted to tell Christine was that she had to leave her to prepare to be born as her daughter)  I have been with you a long time, and our habits are the same.  We both twirl our curly hair (demonstrated).  There's a man here telling me that I will see you again soon.  So I'm not sad, and I won't say goodbye, I will say, 'see you soon'.  I leave with happiness.  That's my name - Felicidad!  So I leave, because I can tell you that I will see you soon...

 

The light, happy spirit left on a soft breeze as it was blowing.  It was apparent that if Christine agreed, this bright spirit would become her daughter.  Nelson was energized and gratified.  He attributed it to the spirit of the little girl, explaining that his process was for his spirit to step aside to allow another spirit to use his energy to speak.  The spirit used Nelson's energy for something good, and it left him refreshed.

 

Spirit 4 (via Nydia): Nelson asked Lourdes how her husband was doing, and she said he was improving:

Nelson: Improving mentally?

Lourdes: It depends on the situation.

Nelson: I'm asking about his mental condition not with you - or the kids - with himself.

Lourdes: It's good.  He knows it's a process, but it's difficult - serious.

Nydia: He didn't accept what happened (as she spoke, a very authoritative spirit sat through Nydia)

Spirit: I don't accept this!  Why is this happening to ME?  What do I do with my pride?  Explain it! 

Nelson:  There are some material things that are a part of every life.

Spirit (cried with Nydia's head on the table):  All my efforts, for such a long time - and look how I am treated! 

Junior: Those things are not important.

Spirit (still crying):  but it hurts, it hurts.  It hurts!

Junior: On earth, on this planet, we experience trials of pain.

Spirit (in pain):  Aye-eeh, aye-eeh.  I don't want to go through this.  Why me?  So much pain, aye-eeh.

Junior: Leave the material in the material.

Spirit: What is the cause?  Why me?

Nelson: You have to decide if you want to live with the material or with the spiritual.  Little by little.

Spirit: I am here with 23 friends. Stop the suffering (still crying but more determined).  My spirit!  My soul!  I will leave with my compadres to find some light.  This is terrible.

 

Nydia had a difficult recovery from passing the spirit.  She advised Lourdes to read the prayer for those who are afflicted.  Nelson advised that Lourdes' husband needed to be more open.  He feels that his life is only between him and Lourdes, and he is suffocating himself because he is not willing to share his concerns.  He needs to stop keeping his problems concealed, and Lourdes should ask him about it.

 

Spirit 5 (via Nelson):  Nelson was being shown a hierarchy of priests in Spain.  All of them were in colored caps that indicated their rank within the Catholic church.  There was a spirit emerging, and he wore a red cap (to indicate that he was a cardinal). Nobody questioned his decisions, he had complete authority.  He was responsible for making Lourdes' husband (Luis) act the same way.  In his current life, Luis' mother was very religious, and in the past life that Nelson was seeing, she was the Mother Superior at the church with the cardinal.  She never obeyed him, and they fought constantly in that life, and the same pattern was repeating in the current life.  Lourdes was not with her husband in the past life, but his oldest son in this life was there with him.  The older son from this life was a lessor priest who fought with the cardinal in the prior life (and that pattern was also repeating in their current life together). 

 

(Note: Jeff realized that we had visited this past life before at a Chicago session.  Luis was the cardinal in charge, his oldest son was a priest working under him, and his youngest son was a new priest hiding young boys from abuse.) 

 

In his current life, Luis believed that all of his children never listened to anything he said, they just did what they wanted, and it frustrated him.  Nelson saw him asking someone for a glass of water, and when it arrived, he insisted he asked for 7-Up. The conversation continued:

Nelson: Does he have problems in the stomach area?

Lourdes: No, nothing.

Nelson: It's the pain from his leg - it hurts him in that area.  (Lourdes agreed)  The spirit of the cardinal leaves him alone for a while, and then he brings the pain again.  (Nelson spoke directly to the spirit)  What are you getting from this?  Why do you enjoy bothering him?  (the spirit arrived to respond)

Spirit (angrily hitting things as he spoke):  I need things to be in order!  Its what I say!  It's hot in here, where's the air?  No respect for me here.  Who am I taking to here?  Demons?

Junior: You can say whatever you want here.

Spirit: I have a lot to say!  (the spirit started a rapid tirade in Spanish that lasted for quite a while)  I have to molest him, I have to give him pain.  Dolor!

Junior: Its time to move on.

Spirit: No, no, no!  Not until I take his hand and restore order.  I am very elevated.  I have my prayer book, and this is my work - my God.  When he reads prayers, his ritual, I read my book with him and observe.  When I go there, I go alone.

Lourdes: His mother in his life is very Catholic.

Spirit: That monga!  Nun!  She has too many opinions, and I am disposing of her.  She has to serve only me!  She protects him!  (pause)  This guy (the spirit guide) is talking a lot.  It bothers me.  Maybe we will leave that house.

Junior: How many in your group?

Spirit: There can only be one cardinal, and that is me.  There are seven others who did all the reading and writing for me.

Jeff: You were very important!

Spirit: Except here.  We have six boys...and they..well they did the necessities of the world, if you know what I mean.  And that Mother Superior and her nuns - seven of them.  (pause)  And four kids.  I didn't want to talk about them.

Nydia: Abortions.

Spirit: We had three nuns dedicated to that.  Goodbye.

 

Spirit 6 (via Nelson): The spirit of the cardinal departed abruptly, and Nelson's spirit guide arrive with some advice for Lourdes:

Caballito:  Make mutual decisions.  Not just what he decides, and do not involve your kids.  The two of you need to have harmonious conversations.  He knows what you believe, so it would be okay to ask if you could read a prayer first.  Say, "I want us to be in harmony, so I want to read this first."  You will know which one, just as you know that this is not your brother speaking.

Lourdes: I know.

Caballito:  This is my work, and I need to do it.

Junior: The results are important.

Caballito (to Luis):  Sometimes you wonder where the strengths of those melodies you compose come from.  You are not alone, we are helping write those beautiful things.  None of you are alone.  Don't call us when you are angry, don't make a phone call to us in an angry mood.  We do not answer angry demands.  Call us when you are at peace - and happy.  (to Diego)  You dodged a bullet, and you didn't know who to call.  You called this one (Nelson) and he called me.  You were never alone in that moment of pain.  All you needed was a little bit of faith.  (for Nydia)  How is your pain?
Nydia: Gone.

Caballito:  Would you do a favor for me?  Invite your son.  It would be an invitation for him to join his spiritual family.  (Nydia agreed)  Jeff, is it okay to use you as an example?  (it was)  Jeff understands nothing that is being said here (all the sessions are in Spanish), but when he writes the notes, everyone thinks that he does understand.  (to Jeff)  I want to thank you personally, and that is something I do not do often.  Thank you for allowing him (Nelson) to do his work.  The two of us are one. 

 

Caballito (to Nelson's father):  You know this is not your son, it's his friend - with a few words.  Nobody is alone, but the idea of being alone is in our thoughts.  Being alone, that feeling is only material.  You are never alone spiritually.  Little by little, learn to accept life.  There are difficult things and it's always changing.  Make good changes.

Bey:  I don't want anything negative.  And the life of my wife?  I call her, and she responds.

Caballito: Why?  She is not here anymore.  It is her friends around her who are responding.  She is involved in a grand plan, and like you, she is not alone.  You asked where she is now.  Its not necessary for your children to visit you, as you are not alone.  I'm going to move to the side.

 

Spirit 7 (via Nelson):  Nelson began to drip with sweat.  He saw himself in his father's house, and he asked, "Is it this hot in your house?" (it was)  The spirit of a happy madame arrived:
Spirit: Carumba, carumba!  Mi amiga!  I am a black madame, like the rest of my group.  I am in that hot house.  I talk to him, but he never answers.

Junior: He can't hear or understand you.

Spirit (regarding Dona Patria): There is a lot of curiosity over that life.  (to Lourdes)  Your mother did her job, and we were with her until the end.  She was never in pain.  We made sure she was comfortable, and you never heard her complain. 

Eva: It's the sign of an elevated spirit that she suffered without any pain.

Spirit (laughed): Does she know that pain is all over the world?

Junior: Your energy is very strong.

Spirit: I only want her to be tranquil.  It's my work.  Those friends that bothered her are now with me.

Bey: She was the greatest mother in the world who raised four children!

Spirit: She had a black doll that looked like me.  The house was cleaned, but that black doll is still in that room.  Nobody could remove it.  It's not needed anymore.  She was a madame like me, and another madame (the spirit of Norma) brought me in today.  She was a madame like us, and she is very good.  (looked at Nydia)  And you are the same!  He (Nelson) was worried about his arm - for three days!  He put some cream on it (Vics!) but it was me.  I will take 16 madames with me, along with 14 other blacks and four male madames.

 

The group recited the closing prayer in unison.
