Just a Thought

Chicago - June 25, 2017

Marisol read Kardec's prayer for obsessive spirits, and that topic became the theme of our session.  (Read more about spirits and obsession here: http://kardecspirit.blogspot.com/2017/04/obsessor-spirits.html)  Nelson read Question 132 from Kardec's The Spirits Book (Chapter II, Incarnation of Spirits, Purpose of Incarnation): 132. What is the purpose of spirit incarnation?

“God imposes incarnation as a tool to reach perfection. For some it is a means of making amends, while for others it is a mission. Every spirit must experience the difficulties of physical existence to reach perfection, therein lies their atonement. Incarnation also requires a spirit to contribute to the work of creation. To fulfill this purpose, spirits assume physical bodies in harmony with the material state of each world to accomplish the missions that have been appointed to them by God. Through these missions they contribute to the general good while also achieving their own advancement.” The action of physical beings is necessary to the operation of the universe, but God has wisely designed this action to serve as a means of climbing closer to God. Thus, through the law of providence, all things are connected and everything in nature is united.

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  Nelson reminded our group to, "Give from what you have, not from what you have left."  A spirit was emerging, and she was related to Milagros grandchild in Florida.  He was a 16 year old boy suffering from night sweats and cold spells, and it was often difficult for him to breathe.  When the spirit guides bring a presence to our table, the free will of that spirit is still intact.  They may have agreed to come to the table, but it did not mean that they would immediately sit.  The spirit guides were working on their side, and some additional conversation was needed on our side:

Nelson (to the group, referencing the spirit with Milagro's grandson):  Have you ever known an obsessive mother?  One who imposed so much love on her children that it eventually killed them?  Maybe it was a mother who wanted her human child to be with her in the spirit world so much, and she knew the only way for that to happen was for him to die.  I hear the spirit (the previous mother of Milagros' grandchild) saying, 'As long as he is with me...and he will be with me, and nothing else matters.'  She does not realize that her devoted love is causing him harm.  He cannot breathe when she hugs him so tightly.  She is not in any sort of reincarnation form, so the only way for her spirit to be with him is for her to move him into the spirit side. 

 

Nelson was icy cold, as the spirit wanted him to feel what it was like to be dead.  The grandson had stomach issues (vomiting) and he was always tired, as the spirit was slowly putting him into the same dead state.  He was still in the material world because of his spirit guides, and his own free will and determination to progress.  Milagros had provided a photo of her grandson, and in the photo, Nelson could see the spirit of his former mother standing right next to him.  The grandson had a darker skin tone, and the spirit mother was much whiter:

Spirit (calmly):  Take that photo away.  That is not my child.  My child is blonde, white and handsome.  You are trying to fool me.  (began to cry)  If that is not my child, where is he? I came here today to take him with me.  Where is he? 

Marisol: You are remembering something from the past.  He reincarnated.  Look at him, he's not the same.

Spirit: When I hug him, he is still the same.  I see myself the same, like I always was.  Classy and beautiful.

Marisol: Look closer.  You no longer have a body.

Spirit: I'm an elegant lady!  (pause)  I don't look the same now.  Why is that woman (the mother that the grandson has now in this life) telling him that she is his mother?  It's me.  He is my child! 

Marisol:  In this life, the one he has now, it is her.

Spirit (listening to the guides):  They are showing me.  It's different.  I died of something incurable.  (Note: The spirit died from Typhoid, a bacterial infection caused by Salmonella.  There is a gradual onset of high fever, weakness, abdominal pain, constipation, confusion and headaches.  Vomiting occurs, but it is not severe, and some people develop a skin rash with rose colored spots.  The spiritual mother of the grandson seemed to be trying to give him the disease that she had died from.)  

Spirit (with sadness): I didn't mean for him to get sick.  Is what they are telling me true?  He wants me to leave him?  (conferred silently with the spirit guides around her)  I must leave him?  They tell me if I continue with this craziness, I will never be able to see him again.  (pause)  He would be taken somewhere very far away.  By losing today, I could win tomorrow.  (to Marisol)  You were a mother, you know how hard it is.  How do I cope? 

Marisol: Have faith - that you will see him later.

Spirit: I will give him a kiss and go.  (to Milagros)  Can you kiss him for me?  Tell him I loved him with all my heart, and with everything I had. Someday, I hope that I will be able to tell him that myself.  It's time for me to leave.   Thank you for bringing me here.  Hopefully, I will be able to return.

 

After Nelson recovered, he advised Milagros to wait three days before contacting her grandson.  His pain would be gone, but he needed to study more, to understand how it happened.

 

Spirit 2 (via Sonia):  Sonia was being shown that someone was not supposed to be at our session.  There was a group of spirits who did not want Janet and Jose to attend.  A disgruntled spirit sat though Sonia to explain further:

Spirit: I did not like that prayer (for the obsessor spirits).  I want to keep knocking them down. (to Janet and Jose)  Where is the love?  Where is it?  If they didn't come here, they would not be together now.  Why did you open that door to them?  I feel no love for anyone.  It hurts, right here in my chest. 

Nelson: That is all mental, it's in your mind.

Spirit: I want her to get rid of him, and she takes him.  And them.  I love going around with them, and you cannot say anything that would change my mind.  I was going to clog her breathing, and boom!  She would be out of air.  That's how I went, I suffocated.  (slyly)  She was almost there.  Ask her how many pills she takes every day (it was about 23 daily).  All for love!  (the spirit laughed and tapped on the tabletop)  Her husband took the pills away.  I am not listening to anyone, but they are telling me I have to go.  I was treated wrongly, and now I'm the one who has to leave?  I don't want to hear it, but I don't want anymore pain.  I wanted to leave this for her (toxic pills), but they tell me I cannot.  The wrong pills were removed from her mouth that weekend.  (to the spirit guides)  I'm going, I'm going!  (to Janet)  Forgive me, my friend...

 

Seven spiritual dancers had been removed with the departure of the spirit.  It was a slow recovery for Sonia, as the spirit sat for a long time.  Sonia was given water to cleanse her body from the energy of the spirit, and Sonia said that she had felt suffocated and her ears hurt while the spirit was present.  Nelson gave Janet and Jose some advice in Spanish.

 

Spirit 3 (via Nelson):  There was another obsessor spirit emerging, and it was a female connected to Gabe.  The female spirit represented the feelings of Gabe's former girlfriend. 

Spirit: You thought it would be easy to break up with her, and it has not been that way.  She knows where you are, and what you have been doing.  Just because you have not seen her, it doesn't mean that she hasn't seen you.  (to the group)  He was not expecting to hear that!  She was at a place where he was.  She still wants to know what he's doing, if he found someone.  She doesn't want him to find anyone.  She wants him to come begging, running back to her.  It's not that she wants him back, she just wants to be the one to break up with him - to make him suffer.

Jeff: That sounds harsh.  Just forget about him - and her.

Spirit: He will really cry when it happens!  No one does that to me!  I have news for him, he is going to pay for it.  I know where he works, where he goes, I know everything about him. 

Jeff: Make a clean separation from him.  You can live your life, and he can live his. 

Spirit: He cannot start over.  He thought it would be so easy, that he would find a new girl the next day.  Well, has he found anyone?  (to Jeff)  Do me a favor, change seats with him.  I want him over here.

Jeff: No, that is not going to happen.  You need to move away from him, not closer.

Spirit: Old people like you, they are always bothering me - telling me what I should do!  I can make him happy.  We go with our feelings, with what feels good.  (to Alex)  What about him?  I could be with him.

Marisol: Let him go and move on.  There might be someone better for you than the ones here.

Jeff: He's suffered enough.  And who wants him anyway, he's a loser!

Spirit: There are a lot of us, and we all sit in a circle and talk about the same things. We dance around him and get him confused.  He is a loser!  We are going to leave him.  He thought he was going to find someone new really fast.  He thought it was going to be easy, but as long as I was there, no one was ever going to show up.  We are 15 girls, and we are going.  (to Gabe)  Don't blame me anymore if you are alone.

 

Marisol had another dream about the large male black spirit presence in her home.  She knew he was still around, and it seemed as if her husband could also sense him, as he was cautioning Marisol to be very careful around the house.  Marisol had episodes where it seemed as if her heart would stop, she was unbalanced, and she occasionally felt as if she needed to lie down.  There were also bad smells in her house.  Marisol said the spirit resembled an actor from the movie The Green Mile, and Nelson agreed:  

 Nelson's spirit guide was showing the obsessive spirit to him.  He wore a large crucifix with a red teardrop shaped object dangling from the end.  The spirit was rubbing the red object for protection.  The spirit spoke a French-Creole language, possibly from Haiti.  The family of Marisol's husband spoke the same language.  Twelve female madames were around the powerful spirit, and they were working with empty hen eggs to protect him.  (Note: The spirit referenced the word sambora, but there wasn't a translation or explanation of it online.)  The spirit was also wearing a brown, beaded necklace that had some significance. 

 

Spirit 4 (via Nelson):  Nelson began to shake and sway in his seat.  One of the black spirit madames had decided to speak:

Spirit (pushing the chair away from the table): I am a protector!  You cannot touch him, so stop blathering!  I will put a curse on you.  You need to talk to me before him.  I pass along the messages, and he only receives my messages.  Aye, carumba.

Marisol: He doesn't need help doing his work.

Spirit: Those works have already begun, and something will be happening.  I'm protected too, I have the same brown necklace.  He gave it to me.  We are all professionals, and we are capable of unique things.  We have come from a very long, faraway place.  You should become a part of our group.

Marisol: You work with a different light.

Spirit: It's not white, but we have a white table.  I can bring you many things - jobs, money.  Do not criticize my work, as we do it all for him.  We must protect what is ours.  People are amazed with our work.  Not everyone is able to reach him, which is why I am talking for him. 

Marisol:  There isn't a need for the jobs that cause harm.

Spirit (angry): None of you have enough power to take his powers!  I have the eggs from a white hen, and who are you to make me sit and explain myself?  I know I'm a spirit.  We arrived here to defend him, but we knew if we came, we might have to leave - and lose all our powers.  We stopped you from reaching him.  You call what you do the purifying of the spirit, and that is very hard to do; as we have been doing our work for a very long time.  (pause)  Our group and yours, they are having a conversation.  They understand each other, even when they cannot understand what he (the powerful black spirit) says.   (pause)  That white man (Nelson's spirit guide, Caballito) he speaks that language! 

Carmen: He's educated.  And you seem intelligent.  We are also smart with our work.

Spirit: But you don't receive any hundred dollar bills for it!

Carmen: We are paid in a different way.

Spirit: The two groups are finishing the conversation.  They have reached a compromise.  The resolution is that he (the powerful black spirit) has more to do before he speaks.  He is the one who started it, and he is the only one who can remove it.  I would turn white if I tried (cackled with laughter)!  He wil be able to talk, but when he is ready.  He works on you, quietly.  I have to go where I don't want to go, away from my white table job.  My happiness was always in the bills, that money we made.  I was not doing my work for any personal satisfaction. We are twelve experienced, highly skilled mediums, and we are going now.

 

The spirit rapidly moved her hands along the side of her head, then she waved both arms in front of herself, and she was gone.  Nelson explained that he was shown the male black spirit removing the brown necklaces from the female madames as they boarded some form of transportation.  Without their necklaces, the madames no longer belonged to him.   

 

Spirit 5 (via Nelson):  Nelson's guide had arrived to refresh him:

Caballito (to Jeff):  The number twelve (the 12 madames) has a significance.  I know you like to research those things.  (Note: Yes I do!  The number twelve signifies the faith in something complex.  In the Bible, there were 12 sons of Jacob, 12 tribes of Israel, 12 apostles, Jerusalem had 12 gates, 12 days of Christmas - in fact, there are 187 mentions of the number 12 in the Bible.)  Caballito had some other messages:

 

(for Marisol):  If you want to apologize to that lady (the human coworker who was using the powerful black spirit as a form of revenge on Marisol), do it.  Tell her you are sorry if the things you said caused her harm.  If she is harming you, forgive her.  With forgiveness, none of this would have had the energy to occur.  It's difficult.  When we are human, our feelings get hurt, but put into practice what we read here every week.  You have one other person that you need to forgive.  He is in Puerto Rico, and his name is Pedro.  Do not allow your heart to hold resentments.  You heart was made for love, not resentments. 

Marisol: That's one of the hardest to approach.

Caballito: That resentment has built up too much - for no reason.  That one (the powerful black spirit) will be here next week, and he will speak directly to you.  You will understand his resentment, and why he was doing what he was doing.  He will sit, and he will speak.  He will explain in detail, and you will understand many things.  Do not think he came for just one reason, he has been used by many.  He's always ready, and he is becoming more powerful.

 

(for the group): He (Nelson) told me, 'I'm feeling good, I don't need you to sit today,' but here I am.  I wanted to ask everyone today to let the resentments go.  Because he always says it, I will use Nelson as an example.  He has resentment for his sister.  He has given her a lot, and she has never said thank you.  He wonders how much more he has to give, before it is appreciated.  It's sad, because she could be receiving so much more.  His love for her in this life does not allow him to disregard her, although Jeff wishes he would sometimes. (Note: Nelson spoke to his sister for an hour and a half on Monday)  Remember that love can conquer anything and everything in your life.  If you want to be happy and healthy, do not let anything else into your hearts.  I am just a humble worker, but I work very hard every day.  It's the only way to obtain my first star.  Do you know why I want it?  So that I can build my first house.  I am a guest in someone else's house now.  With my work and effort, I can build my own home.  It will be a place for this one (Nelson) to go, and for Jeff, and for all of you, all of the others.  I want all of you to see me one day.  It's difficult, my friends.  That is why we ask all of you to be here at 2pm.  When we start late, there are spirit friends who cannot communicate, and I have to take them away quietly, after they hoped to speak.  Would you say that 10,000 was a big number?

 

Maricela:  We recently had a big party at my home...

Caballito: It was a material party.  You cleaned everything up after the material party, but you neglected the spiritual side.  if you do not clean the spiritual, those lost friends will still be there (Nelson explained later that he was shown the spirits of confused spirit priests wandering around in the space).   

 

(for Esperanza and Emiliano):  Caballito knew that Erika wanted to take a trip, and he asked both of her parents if it was alright with them, and they both agreed. 

Caballito:  In front of all of you, they said it was okay - so they cannot deny it.  We are good friends, she and I.  We talk a lot.  If your daughter says she would love to take a trip - when she opens up, say yes.  Tell her that her trip was approved by us, and that we deeply care for her. 

 

(for Denise):  How is your heart?  (hurting)  You and your mother are not alone.  (to the group)  She was worried that no one was going to ask how she and her mother were doing, but now someone has asked.

 

(for Sonia):  I wanted to ask you about meeting upstairs, once a month.  Some friends of this temple are requesting this.  A very good friend, the director of the temple at one time (Charlotte) wonders why you are down here, when she built such a beautiful space upstairs.  (Sonia agreed, and Caballito left the details up to the group.  We will meet upstairs on the last Sunday of every month, starting in July.)

 

(for Jeff): You are not thrilled, not happy about one thing (his upcoming marriage to Nelson).  Get happy about it.  Love is all that matters, and you saw that today.  That's all you take with you, the good love.

Jeff: Today our theme was obsessive love.

Caballito: Let's call it misguided love.  I will take 45 misguided spirits with me today, a little from everyone who is present.  There are 22 of them from this center, as they did not want us to move upstairs.  I wish all of you peace and happiness.

 

Before we closed, Caballito encouraged Nelson to speak to Carmen:

Nelson: Sometimes we put pebbles in our own road, without even noticing it, or wondering why.  Let's start with your family.  They have become more material than spiritual.  Every time I come back here, I hope to see your progress, but I always find you worse than when I left.  Put a sleep hold on the material, with your family.  When you do not work, you leave here tired.  Do not let your family dump everything on you and walk away refreshed, as their burdens are too much for you to handle.  (Their conversation continued in private after the session had ended)

 

Nelson closed with a prayer.

Chicago - June 19, 2017

In attendance: Bernardo, Carmen, Denise, Frank, Gabe, Isabel, Jeff, Marisol, Maricela, Milargros, Nelson, Ron, and Sonia

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  Nelson's spirit guide (Caballito) was with us as soon as we sat at the table.  We discussed how spiritism brought everyone in our group together, and Caballito provided Nelson with brief, humorous comments on each member.  We were all different, but we were united.  Instead of celebrating Father's Day, Caballito saw it as an opportunity to celebrate "Spiritist Day," as we were all trying to become better humans.  Isabel reminded the group to pray for the fathers who were now on the spirit side. 

 

Carmen shared that her granddaughter wanted to have another baby, and the mediums advised against it.  She was already having blood transfusions monthly, and she was not in a condition to bring a new life into the world.  The granddaughter still wanted the baby - even if it took her own life, and regardless if her blood disease was hereditary.

 

Isabel said her blood sugar levels dropped on Thursday and she was hospitalized.  Her brother had an issue with his leg (more than half of Isabel's family was diabetic), and Marisol offered some advice on treatments.  Marisol also read the prayer for the sick.

 

Spirit 2 (via Nelson):  Nelson/Caballito sensed that Sonia was preoccupied or worried about someone in her family.  She was tired of talking about that person, and she needed a lengthy vacation to relax:

Nelson: Do you ever ask yourself, "What else is there in life?"

Sonia: Many times.

Nelson: Sometimes we don't like to be alone, but just because we feel alone, it doesn't mean that we are.

Sonia: Exactly my mind set.  I often think of that.

Nelson: Your family looks to you, because they know that if something goes wrong, you will fix it for them.  You have to let them know that they need to do it for themselves.  There are spiritual friends looking for any opportunity to slide in.  What I'm telling you now is not for you, but if a spirit can take you out of the way, they can reach others.  It's easier if family members just call you.  That's why you feel tired or alone, it comes from them.  What would happen to all of them if you left?

Sonia: I wonder.  They would ask why, and wonder who they would go to now.

Nelson: I see you in the middle of a circle, surrounded by them.  They are holding hands and spinning around you, chanting, "We love her, we love her!"  They should be saying, "We are selfish, we are selfish!"  They make you dizzy.  (Sonia agreed)  There is a second row above them, and it is all spirits.  They are spinning even faster, and they are saying, "If we close the circle, she will collapse." (Nelson compared the spinning circles to an upside down tornado.  Sonia was inside the tornado, trying not to become entangled in the rapidly spinning cone, as the smaller top portion was closing.) 

Sonia: It's suffocating.  I've felt that.

Caballito: They don't want to be responsible, they want to give it all to you.  It's everyone, your entire family.  You have to let them know how you feel before they destroy you.  They walk with you to the door, but then they stand there, waiting for you to push it open for them...

Spirit (replacing Caballito): Where is that one who had all the problems?  he said, 'I don't have a job, I don't have a job,' and where is he now?  'I need help!  Move me, take me!'  They are all the same way.  I can tell you something about every one of them, because I am taking care of that circle (the upside down funnel). 

Sonia: That's going to stop.

Spirit: I should say thank you to them, because all I want is for you to be out of my way.  They all belong to me, and with you out of the way, I will be the one opening the doors when they knock.  I hate all of them!

Jeff: What do you want with them?

Spirit: They will knock on that door, to this place, and it will be closed.  They are a bunch of hypocrites!  You should hear them (laughing).  'Oh, good spirits of God, oh angels, come see me now!'  And then we show up.  I'm only here today because I was invited, and I didn't want to come, but I wanted to talk to her (Sonia).  We only have to push a little bit when we hear them (very dramatic), 'Oh great spirits help me, give me, give me!'  They make such a show of it - we are always laughing.  We need her out of the way.

Marisol: She's a good person.

Sonia: I want to help them, it helps my spirit.  I'll be here, I'm determined.

Spirit: What a liar!  She's sick and tired of them!  She doesn't do it for her spirit.  She's a fool.

Jeff: So why stay around her?
Spirit: I'm having fun!  She feels me.  She got involved, so I had to destroy her.  (pause)  Look at that, they are destroying my pyramid.  I made a mistake in coming here today.  There was one (spirit) at the top, then six below, then 12, then a layer of 18, then 24, and 48 at the bottom.  I was the one on top, and now I'm the only one left.  They took my group.  I couldn't do what I wanted.  We are sorry if we caused any harm, but we did what we had to do.  (looked at the spirit guide)  Are we going to go now, sir?  Yes?  Goodbye.

 

Caballito resumed his position behind Nelson.  Sonia said that she was shown the spirit as he removed himself from his group.  Caballito asked Sonia for a favor: 

Caballito: You know that in the spirit world, we see the future - when we have a chance.  When the opportunity arises, tell your son to keep an eye on the little one (his youngest son).  Something is going to explode - soon - and he needs to take action now.  We have given this advice before.  Don't wait until something big happens.  That boy is going the wrong way.  The other two (his brothers) are tired of his attitude.  They understand his behavior, because they come here, but they are tired of him.  I see him in handcuffs.  That danger he has, it came with him.

Marisol (seeing the same vision): And it attracts more like him (other spirits).  It's getting worse, but there is still time.  (Carmen agreed, saying that he was not listening to anyone, and he was untouchable.) 

Caballito (to Sonia):  Give your son the message, but do not get involved. 

 

Spirit 3 (via Nelson):  Caballito focused Nelson's attention on Frank.  Nelson asked about his job status (both Frank and his wife were unemployed), and he wondered what was being planned.  Caballito was showing Nelson a blank white sheet of paper, indicating that there wasn't any plan.  Frank said they would have a brief vacation and then look for work, as they had done in the past.  Nelson said that the vacation might be longer than they planned.  History was repeating itself, but it did not mean that the results would be the same.  Nelson was shown that Frank's wife wanted to move, to have a fresh start.  This information had not been shared with Frank's daughter, and Caballito advised that she needed to be included.  Both Frank and his wife were headstrong, and now that they had more time together, they would begin to see each other differently.  Nelson was shown that Frank would move, but not his wife.  A spirit arrived to clarify the issue:
Spirit: Do you see this suitcase?  I want to close it, pack the bags and go.  I want him (Frank) to be in that luggage.  I'm going to take him, I have been working on it for months.  Today we are closing it.  I didn't have much else inside.  I didn't like that demon (Frank).  Don't talk about love, we are going to be together.  I want him out, I want his wife.  I talk to her.  This guy (spirit guide) told me we are closing the luggage today.  He's inside, I'm staying with her.  What memories we had when she was with me!  I can even describe her scent.

Carmen: Why don't you want him to be with her?  You have to stop meddling in the relationship.

Spirit: I am finally going to be with HER!  I just came from there.  I was only planning to give him his luggage, and then I would return to her.  We are many.  (to the spirit guides)  Now I realize you tricked me, and I have to leave.  Fine!  I will leave, and I will take my suitcase with me.  (slyly)  All of my things are inside it.  All the love I had for her, and now I feel like a fool.  I looked in from the outside of this place, and I fell for it.  I am not going to fall for it again, so I am leaving - with six women.  It's one suitcase, me, and six women.

 

Spirit 4 (via Nelson):  As Nelson was recovering, he said that Caballito had taken him to Frank's house.  It was crammed with stuff.  Frank explained that his wife liked to accumulate things, as it gave her comfort, but her hoarding habits did not allow for them to remove or sell anything.  Nelson saw spirits in the house, and in addition to all the items, these spirits were preventing Frank from entering his daughter's room. Caballito showed Nelson that behind all of the boxes and other items, there were spirits hiding in Frank's house.  Caballito asked Nelson to watch as he took a massive vacuum cleaner and used it to suck the spirits out of their hiding places.  Frank described some specific conditions within the house, until one spirit was persuaded to sit through Nelson:

Spirit (brushing cobwebs from his arms, and facing the back wall):  I'm used to the spiders, but I don't like it.  (watching Caballito vacuum up other spirits)  Don't remove that one!  He's crazy.  I'm scared, frightened.  (Marisol counseled the spirit in Spanish)  Where are we going?  (to Caballito as he vaccumed)  Don't go into that corner! 

Maricela: You need light.   

Spirit: There are many of us.  I'm dizzy.  I'm tired of lying around.  I need to stretch.  (to Caballito)  There's a smoker over there, and he's crazy.  Go get that one.  We are 1,324 (spirits) and 14 smokers.  But they are separate from us (the smokers).  We will go, but we will not take the smokers with us.

 

Nelson was being shown that Maricela was very content to be alone in her house.  There wasn't anyone bothering her, or asking her to cook meals, clean, or do laundry.  It was liberating.  Maricela agreed that she was happy.  "She's having a little party all by herself," Nelson said, "and she's enjoying the freedom." 

 

Spirit 5 (via Marisol):  Marisol was studying something related to Carmen's oldest daughter.  She sensed that the daughter felt like she had ants crawling around in her hair.  The daughter suffered from depression, and she had contemplated suicide.  She was still in love with her ex (he had cheated on her, and he now lived in Puerto Rico), and the daughter seemed to resent her current husband.  There was a spirit influencing her behavior, and he arrived in an angry mood through Marisol: 

Spirit (firmly): Meddle, meddle, meddle!  I am going to win, and she will kill herself.  I am just waiting for that shriek, the scream that means it's too late to save her.  I am not happy to be here!  I was not finished!

Nelson: You will be freed today.

Spirit (laughing): Look at her.  She's so sad!

Nelson: Let her suffer without you.

Spirit: I'm taking her with me.  She will never be alone.  Do you want her?
Nelson: No.  Let's change her name and free her.  She left you once...

Spirit: And now I want the same thing to happen to her!  I gave her everything and she left me!

Nelson: She didn't do anything wrong, she just met someone else.

Spirit: Everyone is worried about her now, and she doesn't listen!  What do I do with this (knife)?  It would be so easy for her (demonstrated cutting both wrists with a knife).

Nelson: Leave it.  You are creating a tornado in her head, and in one of those moments, you were hoping that she would harm herself. I see a black cat in the house?  (the daughter has one as a pet)

Spirit: He (the spirit guide) tells me to forgive her, so that I can feel better.  I killed myself with that knife.  I couldn't get over her when she left me.  I am taking those things away.  I brought everything I had.  There are ten with me.  Nine others and me.

 

For the last two weeks, Nelson had been receiving pieces of something related to Marisol.  There was someone at her job who wanted to get rid of her.  This person had visited some storefront places that specialized in black/dark spells, and despite our reluctance to believe in it, their methods were effective.  Marisol had an important meeting on Tuesday, and she had excluded one person, as he was reluctant to participate unless things were done his way.  Nelson advised Marisol to let him know about the meeting, and to tell him that his input might be needed later.  Nelson saw the spirit of a very large, very powerful black man.  He was a male madame, and he was smoking a large cigar while he contemplated his next move.  Marisol had two dreams in which she as shown the same enormous man.  In the first one, he was trying to get into her house, and in the second dream, he was inside, and he was laying on top of her as she slept.  Marisol pushed him away.  The spirit world was trying to persuade the large man to sit, but he was not ready.  Nelson advised Marisol to protect herself and to be cautious, saying, "We live in a world where those close to us can be dangerous.  This spirit is strong and powerful, but you are not alone."

 

Spirit 7 (via Carmen):  Jeff commented that the theme for our session seemed to be suffocation.  Sonia was being suffocated by her family, Frank was shoved into a suitcase and being suffocated by all of the accumulation in his house, Carmen's daughter had a tornado in her mind that affected her reasoning, and Marisol was being smothered by the spirit of a powerful man.  There was someone else who was having difficulties breathing, and it was Milagros grandson/nephew.  He sweated throughout the night, and his breathing was shallow - as if someone was hugging him tightly and restricting his airflow.  It was the spirit of his mother from a former life, and she was not yet prepared to sit.  Nelson asked Milagros to bring a photo of her grandson/nephew to the next session (he was 16, and he lived in Florida).  Carmen noticed another spirit related to Milagros, and it was her grandfather from this life:
Spirit (to Milagros): Why have you suffered so much?  The people around you have stomped, but she doesn't let any help in.  I have helped you, everywhere you have gone.  You act as if you were almost killed or raped, but you will be okay.  Don't worry so much about those who do not help you.  If it wasn't for me, you would not be here.  Sometimes you feel as if you do not belong anywhere.  There is always one who helps.  I protect you from your mother, too.  You feel so alone, but keep walking this path.  Help others when you can, but if you cannot, don't.  Ignore the negative.  Take care of yourself.

 

Caballito was showing Nelson the 16 year old boy related to Milagros in Florida.  He told Nelson to watch what happened when the spirit mother hugged her former son.  His breathing was restricted, his heartbeat accelerated, and he began to sweat.  The energy level of the spirit mother from his past life was too strong, which was why we needed a photo for next week's session.  The mother thought she was expressing love, but she was harming the boy. 

 

Carmen shared that since the last session, she no longer had any need for her headache pills.  Nelson asked how everyone was doing, and Ron said that he was "a lover, not a fighter."  Caballito corrected him, saying that he wasn't that way when he was 25 years old - and he reminded Ron of a specific incident that happened when he was 22 and a half years old.  Ron was silent, and Nelson closed with a prayer.

Chicago - June 14, 2017

In attendance: Denise, Gabe, Jeff, Nelson and Sonia 

 

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  As we finished our class on Selfishness, Nelson began to sense a large group of spirits yawning.  He noticed them near the back of the room during the class.  One of them stepped into Nelson to speak:
Spirit: I'm so glad we are not here today, it's boring.  We are just a reflection of what everyone else is thinking (laughed).  'Don't waste my time, I only want to go when they take away what's wrong with me!'  Or they think, 'It's too dark and cloudy, I'll stay home.'  None of them want to be invited unless there is a cure for them!  (laughed)  'Don't change me!'

Sonia: We do things differently here.

Spirit: Who are you people to call me selfish?  I heard what you were talking about.

Sonia: You are not thinking of others, only yourself.

Spirit (pointing directly at Jeff): YOU!  Yes you.  Printing all this (copies of the class) for nothing - how many did you print?

Jeff: Ten.

Spirit: And you only had FIVE show up!

 

The spirit continued to have a conversation with everyone at the table.  He eventually explained that his group of spirits were similar to a thousand bees - buzzing around people until they could create doubt.  The spirit said they were able to influence two of our members into not attending.  It took them only one second, and in that instant, one person thought the storm was too inconvenient, and another member decided to stay home and eat.  The spirit acknowledged that he was smart enough to know that if he sat, he would have to go, and he eventually left (reluctantly) with his group of a thousand.

 

Spirit 2 (via Nelson):  Before our class, Nelson wanted to mention the names of two people at the table. Caballito had spiritually taken Nelson to the Florida house of one of his cousins, and this cousin was realizing that the cancer he had at age 19 was now returning at age 55.  The cousin was despondent.  We discussed the issue and some possible solutions.  The other person was Antonio - Mary's longtime partner in Buenos Aires. Antonio was a medium, and he had been suffering from headaches and blackouts.  Was it spiritual?  Was there a material world issue?  Ironically, when he visited his doctor, the doctor recommended that he see a spiritist.  Caballito sat though Nelson to explain more:

Caballito: Tell Mary that there is something physically wrong with Antonio.  We will work on the spiritual side, but there is something material that needs to be done.  He needs an evaluation of the nervous system.  There is a pinched nerve in the back of his neck (in the center) and when he finds out where it is, his issue will be alleviated.  We will remove four spirits from him that are contributing to the situation.  They are dressed all in black, with a black mask over their eyes (similar to Zorro) and they are all wearing a black cape.

Jeff: Were the spirits sent to him from someone else?

Caballito: His issue has nothing to do with anyone except himself.  That is his problem, his own demons.  If he has doubts, this element will come in.  Tell him to stop the doubt.  We will also remove two ladies, female spirits who are dressed in black masks.  His headaches will go away once they release the nerve.  His left side is the most painful.  The doctors can finish what we have started.  Tell him to stop thinking, "When Caballito comes back, he will take care of me."  If he puts all his thinking into a magic person, he's not doing what he needs to do.  (Update: Mary later verified that everything Caballito said was true)

 

Caballito (to Denise): Did your mother have a heart attack?  (yes)  There is damage to her brain, and that is what started it.  The brain damage led to the heart attack.  We will remove what we are allowed to remove, only that, and you will see an improvement.  What a busy hospital she is in.  The sad part is that they are not taking care of the problems, only treating the symptoms.  Until they work on the spiritual side, they only treat the symptoms.  So sad to see a friend in that situation. 

Denise: It's unnecessary. 

 

Caballito (to the group): Everything is spent on selfishness.  Be less selfish, and life will improve drastically.  It's easy.  Stop acting that way, and it (the selfishness) will go away by itself.  What is attached will not be there any longer.  Just start, and it will follow through. 

 

Caballito (to Sonia): Let every member of your family be who they are, and they will not contact (bother) you anymore.  Isn't that nice?  It resolves all of the problems and issues because you accept them as they are.  (to Jeff) Will you write that on a slip of paper and give it to everyone in the group?  Tell them, 'This is a summary of what happened in the Wednesday class on selfishness.'  (to Gabe)  Will you pass that message on to your family members? (yes)  Tell them to stop trying to change everyone around you.

 

Sonia had set a reminder alarm on her phone, and it began to chime.  "That reminder is for me," Caballito said, "What time is it?"  It was 8pm, so Caballito said goodbye, and Nelson closed with a prayer.

Responding to Violence as a Spiritist

Here's an interesting video example of people being more concerned with something material (in this case, a burger) than in the bullying happening right next to them:

It's interesting to note the behavior of those who did decide to intervene.  There wasn't any shouting or violence directed towards the bullies themselves.  Instead, we saw a rational male adult calmly explain that their bullying behavior was unacceptable, and we saw a female adult join the victim, to console him and possibly prevent another attack.  Both examples were a spiritist method to diffuse the situation and avoid an escalation of violence.

Nelson began the session by reading a selection from Allan Kardec's The Spirit Book that was recommended by his guide.  The piece was called Caridad para con los criminales (Charity for criminals).  Read the English translation here:

Spirits 1 & 2 (via Nydia and Pedro):  After the opening prayer, there was a brief discussion about the practices at another center as we waited for some participants to arrive.  As the latecomers were seated, Nelson, Nydia and Pedro all began to experience an intense heat.  The heat was related to Lydia's youngest sister (who was not in attendance).  This sister helped with the care of Lydia's mother.  Nelson began to shake as she was shown the details of the sister's past existence.  Nelson explained, "It's from her past, but it's having an effect now.  This spirit is angry, and it consumes her feelings."  The aggressive, forceful spirit moved into Nydia:

Spirit: Demon!  Listen to me, mira!  There is not change with her.  She needs humility.  Ohh, it's something with my stomach, I'm sick.  She's sick, in pain right now. 

 

Nelson and Pedro coached the insistent spirit, but the spirit was too angry to listen.  In the middle of a sentence, a new spirit overtook Pedro, and this spirit was empathetic to the spirit with Nydia,but the new spirit resented having to share the spotlight.

Nydia's spirit (yelling):  I am so angry with her!

Pedro's spirit:  I have learned that she is devil!

Nydia's spirit: She doesn't listen!  My stomach, ow, ow, it hurts.

Nelson: We can help you with the pain.

Pedro's spirit (to Nelson): Listen to me!  Is she done talking?

Nelson: I am concerned with her, but I am listening to you.  You were trapped in a bottle.  (Nelson's spirit guide had melted the bottle away to free the spirit)  You needed to be freed to progress. (Nelson asked Lydia and her family if it was always so hot in their house [it was] as the spirit with Nydia began to fan herself).

Nydia's spirit: It's too hot!  (yelling)  It's too hot!

Pedro's spirit:  I'm going to leave.

Nelson: No wait, don't go yet.  (to Nydia)  Feel that fresh air, it can cool you. (the coaching continued)

Nydia's spirit:  Woo-woo!  It's still to hot.  There are 17 of us and we've got to go.  Woo!

Nelson (to Pedro's spirit): Look at that bottle now.  What do you see?
Spirit: It's on fire!

Nelson: That's in your mind.  Look for happiness, not for heat.  (Nelson asked Lydia how old her mother was, and she replied that she was 97)

Spirit (noticing the mother): I'm confused.  Is she dead?  Hypocrite!  Now this is bad.  Am I dead?

Nelson: No one dies.  It's a change from body energy to the energy of the spirit.  You are still alive, and you can still learn.  We have a very good school for you.  Would you like a drink of water?

Spirit: Look at that!  I was remembering it as something else.  I'll go.  I'm going.  Family, yee haw, arrgh!

Nydia: It's not a coincidence that this family (Lydia's) was her today to find some tranquility. 

 

Spirit 3 (via Nelson): The two spirits causing all the heat in Lydia's family had left, but Nelson was studying a new spirit.  Nelson began to move uncomfortably in his chair, as this spirit was reluctant to speak.  When Ivette (Lydia's sister) was born, she was supposed to be a twin.  There was a circumstance that left one spirit twin behind.  The mother had another child after the spirit was unable to be born, and now that spirit was intent on getting revenge on the entire family. 

Spirit: No life for me, no life for none of you!  It's written.  I want all of you to have a difficult life.  (The spirit explained her plan in rapid Spanish.  She would reincarnate as a handicapped child to one Ivette's children, becoming Ivette's grandchild.  This would hurt Ivette, and it would hurt the mother.)

Spirit: I don't care how much I suffer, I just want to make her suffer!  That devil!  A handicapped child, that's suffering.  I have no compassion for her.  Criminal!

Pedro: Find some happiness, not suffering.

Spirit: It's all her fault!

Junior: Are you looking for Ivette?  That was another life.

Spirit: I don't care what you call her, she's a criminal.

Eva: She has changed, and now it's your time to change.

Spirit: Me?  Change? I will need to learn how...

Eva: Exactly.  The learning starts now.

Spirit: This guy (the spirit guide) is telling me that my plan to come back handicapped would not work.

Eva (to Ivette): Can you ask her (the spirit) for forgiveness?  (she did)

Spirit: Thank you for finally making her talk!  Use caution with that child of yours, the one I was going to come through.  There is someone with me, a friend of mine who is not very good.  We three will go.

Pedro: Can you take that friend with you?

Spirit: That has nothing to do with me.  (to Ivette) Listen to me and take action.  I said what I wanted to say.

 

After he recovered, Nelson advised Ivette to read and pray for guidance.  Her grandchild would not be arriving anytime soon, but when it happened, that child would need a lot of love.

 

Spirit 4 (via Pedro): After some questioning about another extended family member, a new spirit spoke:

Spirit: Aye, mama!  Look by those trees, such pretty roses!  Why is this important?

Nelson: It's important to you.

Spirit: Shut your mouth!  Those roses have spiders.  And thorns!  (Helvia helped coach)

Nelson: Why are you fascinated with them?  Here's a rose with all the thorns removed.

Spirit: They make me suffer.

Nelson: You can avoid the suffering.  If you knew three days ahead that a hurricane was coming, would you stay here or get on the first airplane out?
Spirit: What if the plane crashed?  My rose is dying.  It's wilted.

Nelson: That rose is only pretending to suffer.  To torture you.

Spirit: That must be why I am so tired.

Nelson: You need a new rose.  Something special.  Try another rose.  Feel that love.

Junior: You don't have a body!

Spirit: Look at that, an airplane just for me.  I need to get onboard. 

 

Spirits 5 & 6 (via Nydia and Pedro): The spirit left smoothly. Two new spirits arrived together, and one sat through Nydia, while the other sat through Pedro.  They were both madames, and they were connected to Helvia.  They wanted her to start passing spirits:

Pedro's spirit: We are preparing her to be a madame!

Nelson (to Helvia):  The problem is that your mind must be empty and clear,  Not for a few minutes before you sit at a table, but a day or two before.  There are too many things going on in your life.

Pedro's spirit:  You have cockroaches in your head!  (as the group was discussing the process of mediumship, Nydia's spirit arrived)

Nydia's spirit: We are going to throw a tremendous party for you!

Nelson: You have negative intentions.  (At this point, all six people seated at the table began to talk at once)

Nydia's spirit: This is ridiculous!  She's not going to learn this way.

Pedro's spirit: She's not bad, she's good.  Her heart is noble.  I sympathize with her, but she needs to start her job!

Nydia's spirit (to Helvia): Listen to me, the black madame.  I'm going to tell my group not to bother you anymore.  I'll take them with me.  There are 27, and I'll take them all, but nobody else.

Pedro's spirit: I'll go with her!

Nelson: No, you are doing something else in that house.

Pedro's spirit (banged on the table): Gone! There are too many people here.  I'm the cockroach.  I'm going to a better place.  That house is filled up with people. (Helvia agreed)  I'm taking four with me, separate from hers.  (to Helvia)  Clean your head!

Nydia: That house is filled with resentment and rancor. 

Nelson (to Pedro's spirit): You have caused her a lot of suffering. 

Pedro's spirit: We can change her name to happiness now.  I will leave saying what she always says, 'Take these dead people away from me!'

 

But Pedro's spirit did not leave.  He stayed another 15 minutes, talking and looking at the house where Nelson's mother once lived.  When the spirit of the madame asked where the mother was, Nelson told him that she had gone on a vacation. 

Pedro's spirit: There are a lot of dead people over there.  They want to talk to me because I am a spirit who is alive. (a large mango fell from a tree and hit the roof)  Diablo!  What's that?  Oh my God, a devil!  I'm getting out of here.  (the spirit left, and Pedro described her as a crazy, funny madame)

 

Spirit 7 (via Nelson): Nelson began to cry, and it was heartbreaking.  There was the spirit of a young, very adorable little boy in his mother's former house.  The boy was crying because he knew that he was destined to be Nestor's son.  When Nestor and his wife did not bring him, he hoped that someone else connected to Nestor might bring him, but now he was devastated - as he realized that it was never going to happen:

Spirit (sobbing):  I don't care about anything, and I know that sounds crazy.  I wanted to be with him!  (intense crying)  I grabbed his hand.  Papi!  I wanted you to take me to a baseball game, because I love it like you, but now I know that cannot happen.  Oh my God, Papi!  Papi.  He loves the horses, I could have been a jockey.  I waited so long for you.  I held your fingers, they were all that fit into my hand.

Nestor:  Seguro, seguro.

Spirit: As much as I loved you, I couldn't convince you to be with me.  Papi, I only wanted to be your son.  I tried, I tried so hard.  I tried.  (It was alter explained that Nestor's mother - and his brother Nelson - had both explained to Nestor about bringing this boy into the world.  As his mother was transitioning back to the spirit world, she told Nestor that she would keep the boy with her, to spare Nestor any pain.)

Spirit: I'm going to go with grandma.  Wherever she is.  She was very good, and I won't have to wait anymore.  She will keep me calm.

Eva (to Nestor):  Did you know when this opportunity presented itself?  (yes)  Is that door closed now? (no)

Pedro (to the spirit): You will be offered a new, distinct reincarnation, but it's important now to find happiness.

Spirit: With my friend, the one next to me?  He's with me, telling me to find happiness today.  Do you want to know my name?  It's Alex.  Alexander Alejandro.  I like it, it's a beautiful name.  I would have been nicknamed Ali.  Alex.  I have to say goodbye to him now?

Nestor: We will see each other again.  It's not goodbye.

Nydia: You can make decisions about your life, just like he did.

Spirit: I don't like it, but I want to find happiness.  With God, I will go.  With two friends, and this man (Nelson's guide Caballito, the spirit guide who specializes in helping children) and grandma.  (slowly, with great sadness)  Adios, papi.  Adios. 

 

It was a difficult recovery for Nelson, and our entire group needed a break.  We discussed the two spirits that the boy took with him, and Nelson explained that they were two sons that Nestor and Nelson's mother had promised to bring - but she never did.  The three boys were together in her old house, and because she spent many years in a wheelchair, the spirit boys also took 14 spirits in wheelchairs with them.  Nelson said, "So many kids want to come into this world, and nobody wants to bring them.  (group discussion)

 

Spirits 8 & 9 (via Helvia and Nydia): There was another spirit, and Helvia started to pass it.  She reached a certain point, and Nydia took over.  The spirit was Helvia's mother (Norma) and she had another message for Nestor:

Helvia: This is definite.  It's with him.  You want a good relationship (with his ex-wife) but you have to make a final decision...

Spirit (Nydia):  ...she has not realized it's final.  She thinks she still has a chance.

Pedro: Communicate by phone with her.  Nothing else. 

Nelson: Do you still have that other friend?  (he did)  Your daughter is the one keeping you and your ex-wife separate.  She does not want you to reunite. 

Nestor: I understand it.

Spirit: Stand firm with your decisions.  This advice is not for nothing.  It's a physical, emotional, decision.  If you have a noble heart, demonstrate it.  Happiness comes from the heart, not from material things.  Even if it costs you more, you need to bring that relationship to an end.  (forcefully)  The work at this table is profound. We speak the truth at this table.  It's time.  It's your happiness.

Nelson: You are not alone, spiritually or materially.

Spirit: Make the decisions in your house.  You are not a puppet.

Junior: Draw the line!

Nestor: Seguro, seguro.

Spirit: To progress in spirit, stand firm.  That is my message, as strong as it can be.

Nelson (to Nestor): Mom cannot find happiness until you do.  And she needs to be happy.

Spirit: It's a process.  Ask for help in your life.  I wish all of you happiness.  Thank you for allowing me to work, and giving me the opportunity to speak the truth.  In the spirit world, happiness is not brought by the material things.  It's a lot of work, but it's important.

 

Nydia's spirit guide arrived to briefly refresh her after the spirit of Norma had departed.

 

Spirit 10 (via Pedro): Pedro saw the spirit of a child around Christine.  We explained the previous session when we met the spirit was to become her child.  We often assume that being born is a quick, biological process, but not that simple.  When a spirit wants to be born, there are spirit enemies who do not want that spirit to be born.  Pedro understood the spirit he was seeing was not the child, it was a friend of that girl.  Pedro called her a puppet, trying to manipulate things.  Nelson said, "It's a process, but we want it to be easy - there are hard times as well as the good."

 

Pedro asked Christine to stand (Eva stood behind her), and he placed his hand on the back of her neck.  His hand began to tremble as he told Christine, "They are preparing you for this opportunity.  It's strong.  (Pedro put his other hand on her forehead)  Let it release, all of it."  Nelson stood up and moved over to the group:
Nelson/Caballito:  When was the last time you saw your mother?  How is that relationship?

Christine: About six months ago.  It's not the best relationship.  We spoke yesterday.  She sent me a gift, but I wasn't home to receive it, and she was furious.

Nelson/Caballito: Invite her to visit you in Puerto Rico.  As soon as you can.  Introduce her to the mother (Eva) of your novio (Luis).  Let your mother meet her, to see the similarities.  (to Eva)  Make it a good experience.  (to Christine)  This Wednesday, it doesn't how many songs he (Luis) needs to write, he needs to be here.  Both of you need to be on the same page.

 

The group discussed the issue, along with some general questions on reincarnation.  Pedro wondered what had happened to a child he had helped many years ago at another center, and Eva said that baby was now an adult - but he had not amounted to much. 

 

Spirit 11 (via Nelson, his guide Caballito): Nelson asked Ivan how he was doing, and he replied that he was doing well, waiting for school to resume and working on his portfolio:

Nelson: Lets get to the point.  Are you planning to move out of Puerto Rico? (no)  She (his girlfriend) is planning to move, and she needs to understand that it is not an option for you.

Helvia: It's your future.

Caballito (to Helvia):  And that girl living in your house (the girlfriend of her son)?  She will be out of your house soon.  Make sure that everything is in place for it to happen. (back to Ivan)  Her life belongs to her, and yours is your own.  You are carrying her baggage, and it's very heavy.  What is that holiday called?  Halloween?  She has skeletons in her luggage, and you cannot continue to carry those for her.  The bones of the skeletons are dissolved and deteriorated.  There are only pieces of bones, and it would take a lot of glue to reconnect them all.  Even if you could do it, how would do it?  How would you know which bones to connect?  It's her burden to carry, not yours.

Spirit #1 via Carmen

- Look at you, you are not tired of crying.  Do what you got to do and stop moping.

- Why are you here, if you are not getting anything from being here?  You are worse everyday.

- It's time for you to leave!  Your situation will not be resolved!

- You know how to do it, I don't know what you're waiting for - even Jose is getting tired of it!

- I feel like I am floating, there is a mess everywhere I go - How am I going to feel well if she doesn't do anything?  Everything comes to an end, eventually.

- Those memories are so bad, and she keeps relieving that.

- I feel so bad, my head...!

- I want to leave, running.

- Nothing pleases me, everything is dark..

- One door opens, but then three close.  I am so sad.  This is an agony (while moaning and groaning)

- I don't have any energies.  (pause)  Look at this one helping me...

- I would go with anyone.

- They said they would show me a clear path.  Can I leave with him? A big group is coming...

- I will leave with them.  They will take care of what I left behind.

Spirit #2 via Carmen

- Carmen's Spirit Guide was cleaning a little bit of everybody today

An update on Denise: Her family is never going to let her go. She is too familiar with the mess in the house.

Spirits were demanding that the situation needed to be taken care of immediately.

Spirit #3 via Carmen

- What do you guys think, that this is our first time here?

- I wanted to be here!  I came with a big group, but I need to go somewhere else later.

- We came to check up on mine.  We have more than most.

- I waited to talk, so we were grateful to be heard.

- We can't really help, we just go and observe.  We take in the information - there is a lot of faith here!

- We can't give nor take (but I'm taking my fluids).  We are 31 spirits, and we carry our own luggage.

- We will settle where our help is needed.

- Goodbye!

Isaac and X had a very positive visit with their half brother in PA, and a spirit urged them to continue the communication.

- A spirit is reminded us to pray, as things will get harder again.

- Carmen shared a combination of bad occurrences happening to her.

- There was a small chat about Emiliano and Maricela, about when to open and share.

- Update on Milagros nephew condition? One diagnosis showed high blood pressure.

Closing Prayer

Puerto Rico - May 31, 2017

In attendance: Alanis, Christine, Diane, Enrique, Eva, Ivan Jeff, Junior, Luis, Lydia, Lydia's sister, Maribel, Mirelsa, Mildred, Nelson, Nydia. Pedro and Rina    

 

(Note: We had 18 participants at this session, and 13 of them were from the same extended family.  Some of them had not seem each other for several years, so I omitted the family histories, updates, and basic spiritual education portions of the notes, in an attempt to keep the focus on the spirits who visited our table)

 

Nelson's spirit guide had been preparing him for three days prior to this session.  The spirit of Nydia's brother would be coming to our table, and it would not be an easy situation for Nelson or the rest of the family.  The brother was a severe alcoholic when he was in the material world, and it led to his death.  We often think that suicide only involves a gun, jumping off a bridge, or something similar, but there are many forms of suicide that we create for ourselves over time.  Alcoholism, overeating, taking drugs, and smoking are all forms of suicide when used to excess.  It's a slow, and often painful death.

Spirit 1 (via Nelson):  Nydia's brother passed away seven or eight years ago, and once he was on the spirit side, he had no problem finding a group of kindred spirits who had ended their lives in a similar manner as he chose.  He was surrounded by drunks, addicts and smokers with lung diseases, and over time, he had become the leader of this group of spirits.  He was being prepared by the good spirit guides to sit at our table, and his group was disturbed to discover that he was gone.  Before we could deal with the spirit of the brother, we had to deal with the group who surrounded him:

Spirit: I'm searching for him.  I will not speak to anyone else.  Where is he?  (rocking in his seat)  He was our leader, he was necessary.

Nydia: It's necessary for you to have light and progress now.  You have to leave that life behind.

Spirit: No, no, no!  I need to talk to him!  It's necessary!  (Nydia and Pedro continued to coach the spirit)

Pedro: You are not responsible for his condition.  Look at your own condition.

Spirit: I'm sick.

Pedro: Exactly.  The consequences of your behavior.

Spirit: My stomach hurts, and this guy (the spirit guide) keeps on talking!  I'm so sick.  He talks a lot.  I want to tell you something, we are 16 drunks and 4 from too many cigarettes.  We will all go.

Nydia:  All of you will be taken to a school, to learn about morals and spiritism.

Pedro: Can I ask you a question?  Is there a child with you?
Spirit: It's a dwarf (midget).  That's the one who kept us supplied over here with alcohol, drugs and cigarettes.

 

Spirit 2 (via Nelson):  Nydia began to cry.  When her parents were alive, they always wondered where their son was in the spirit world.  Nelson explained that they were still worrying over him on the spirit side, and they were unable to progress until his issue was resolved.  Our group discussed the transitioning process from earth to the spirit world.  Nelson began to sense the spirit of the brother.  When he died, he was morbidly obese and unable to speak for the last 21 days of his life, so he never had a chance to say goodbye to his family.  The spirit was now concerned for his son.  He saw his son on the same road to alcoholism as he was.  He gave his son the first drink, and the father and son had gone out drinking together in the material world.  Nelson's body was feeling everything the spirit had endured:

Nelson:  Aye, aye, aye.  (began to cry)  This is so difficult.  So much sentimentality.  It's overwhelming.

Pedro (referring to Nydia's brother): Sometimes we don't accept where we find ourselves.

Spirit (arriving through Nelson):  Papi, Papi!  I hear my son calling me.  Nunca!  Papi!  Forgive me my son, forgive me!

Nydia: Leave behind those material things.

Spirit: Forgive me, my sister!  Please do not abandon my children, my son!  Help him.

Nydia: He has distanced himself from my family.

Junior: You are the one suffering now.  A new door is opening.

Nydia: It's a chance to return to your family.  And they are happy and content.  (Note: Before the session, it was explained to Nelson that Nydia's brother would start the reincarnation process once he left our table.  He would reincarnate into the same family he left - as a grandson born to one of his children.) 

Spirit: How can they forgive me?  All the suffering I caused.  And my daughter.  (pause)  She was never the same.  I'm responsible.  (Nelson began to shake)  I'm responsible!  My pain is large.  I caused this to myself.  This friend with me is telling me it's the first part of a process?

Eva: Of continuation.  Back to the same family.

Nydia: In another form.

 

The spirit wept as he left, asking everyone for forgiveness.  It was a difficult recovery for Nelson, as the spirit had left him gasping for air.  The group discussed the experience.  After he recovered, Nelson asked Mildred if her mom (Pedro's wife) would have wanted to attend the session (she would have, but she was recovering from an illness and content to rest).  When Nelson was 14 years old, Pedro helped Nelson develop his mediumship abilities.  Pedro was also a medium, but he had not worked in eight years:

Nelson (to Pedro):  You told me that being a medium wasn't easy, that it would be difficult.  And now I have the same advice for you.  It's as difficult for spirits to change as it is with humans.

Pedro: Exactly.  It's not easy.  It's difficult, but not impossible.  (we discussed the topic as a group)

 

Spirit 3 (via Nydia): Nelson began to concentrate on the house of Mildred's mom.  His spirit guide (Caballito) wanted to spiritually take him there for something, but then Mildred explained that her mom was staying with someone else, so Nelson and Caballito had to postpone the journey.  A group of spiritual madames arrived through Nydia, and one of them spoke for the group:
Spirit (strong and happy):  Ayeee, ayeee!  You talk a lot!  Why don't you listen a little?  (Mildred coached the spirit)  My spirit is content, or are you not interested?
Nelson: Are you the one giving her (Mildred) all that heat?
Spirit (laughed):  The reason is - yes!  She finds peace in her parents house, but I'm not interested in having her there.

Nelson: Why don't you do your work for good, instead of bothering people?
Pedro: I have seen you, as a moreno (darker woman).

Spirit (laughed):  Of course!  I am a madame!

Pedro: The other night, I had a lot of heat.

Spirit (laughed): But now I'm leaving - forgive me! 

 

Spirit 4 (via Nelson): The madame took 33 other madames with her - and four "other blacks".  Nelson was studying a spirit who had arrived at the session with Mildred.  Thirty years ago, before Mildred married her husband, she had a dark-skinned boyfriend.  Whenever he came over to see her, Pedro (Mildred's dad) had to leave the house - because the spirit energy of the boyfriend was so intense.  Mildred lost track of the boyfriend, but he never got over his love for her.  She last saw him when he drove by her house on the day of her wedding - thirty years ago.  The spirit was very materialized, and he was with her now.  Mildred said she had felt his presence and smelled his cologne when no one else was in the house:
Spirit: What is this curiosity over me?  I'm protecting her.  I talk to her all day, because she is my friend, but she never answers.

Pedro: You are in different worlds.  When you plant a lemon tree, you cannot expect it to produce avocados.

Mildred: You are a spirit, you are not material.

Spirit: Love can transform everything.  To me, she is a flower.  I can talk to her, and she can hear me.  I'm her 'negro lindo' (beautiful dark boy) and this is my work.

Pedro: What is your desperation with her?

Nydia: Think of your own salvation.

Spirit: I was thinking about hers.

Mildred: That's a past history.

Pedro: I see a thin woman with you.

Spirit: She has nothing to do with me.  She's in another group.  Three of us are in my group.

 

Spirits 5 (via Nydia):  Nelson asked Pedro if he knew who the spirit of the thin spirit woman was, and he thought it might be his grandmother.  Nelson said it was his grandmother's grandmother, and she wanted to speak.  Nelson described her as very thin, very pale, and curious.  She was also extremely picky or fussy.  Pedro was explaining more about her until one of Nydia's spirit guides interrupted him:

Spirit (respectfully to Pedro): I have to interrupt.  Give me your hands.  I represent humility, and I am so happy to see you back at a table.  My speciality was creating herbal masks (similar in consistency to Silly Putty) to cure burns.skin marks, and those types of things.  I want to create one for your wife, to help her healing process.  (Pedro agreed)  Your wife is not alone, she has a group around her.  They work with her when she sleeps.  (pause)  It's finished.  Thank you for the opportunity to talk.

 

Spirits 6 & 7 (via Nydia): As the spirit departed, Nelson said that he saw Pedro's wife wrapped tightly - like a mummy - from the waist down.  Mildred (her daughter) said it represented where she was feeling the most pain. Nelson understood that a spirit was causing the pain, as the spirit wanted to hurt Mildred and Pedro, and the spirit thought it could be accomplished by hurting someone they loved to hurt them.  The angry spirit sat through Nydia:

Spirit: Diablo!  Devil!  It's her pain all the time.  I want it gone, immediately!  (labored breaths and struggling)

Pedro: What was her offense with you!

Spirit: She's a demon!  She will never find salvation!

Junior: Find it for yourself.  Your own salvation.

Nelson and Pedro discussed the situation, while the spirit moaned and seethed in the seat.  The spirit became louder and placed both hands on her head.  The coaching continued until the spirit agreed to depart, saying, "The case is closed."  Nydia's spirit guide arrived to cleanse her.

 

Spirit 8 (via Nelson): There was another spirit with the mother of Mildred (Pedro's wife), and this spirit also wanted the mother to suffer.  Pedro counseled the spirit:

Spirit: She's a liar.  I want her to suffer.

Pedro:  That's not your problem.

Spirit: Not everyone who comes in with a smile to hug her really means it.  There are enemies.  I speak the truth, she needs to suffer more.  She is not my friend, and neither are you.  Don't talk to her!  I have a girlfriend of mine here with me.

Pedro: Spirits do not have any gender.

Spirit: It's a girl with me!  Helping me work! 

Junior: That work will be on your conscience.

Nydia: Don't you want better things?
Spirit: I don't like those things.  Like prayers.  I don't listen to prayers.  Prayers, prayers, prayers for her!

Pedro:  The important thing is for you to give up the material and find your own road.

Junior:  How many are you?
Spirit: We are four - no more.  Goodbye.

 

Spirit 9 (via Nelson): Nelson asked Lydia's sister about her mother.  She was suffering.  Nelson gave her some brief advice.  Lydia said that her mother was doing very well, but Nelson understood that there was a member of Lydia's family who was not happy with what Lydia was doing.  The mother spent her nights at the house of one of Nydia's sisters, and Nelson saw the sister with documents in her hands.  She was keeping written records of every second that the mother spent with her - what she did, what she watched on TV, who visited, etc.  The sister already had one of Lydia's three brothers on her side.  Lydia said her mother did not like going to the sister's house.  Nelson was shown that the mother and her granddaughter were enemies in a previous life, and they needed to be friends in this life.  The granddaughter was living elsewhere, and Lydia was stressed over everything that was happening.  Nelson's spirit guide asked Jeff for a towel.  He folded it into a compact package and asked Lydia to hold it over her heart - to warm it.  He also energized a glass of water and asked Lydia to drink it.  Caballito asked if the mother could attend our Saturday session.

Caballito: These are not the words of Nelson, I am his guide.  (to Lydia)  On Saturday, we may be able to help you find some happiness.  There is a lot of work to be done, just like today, and all that work wears my friend (Nelson) out.  It's strong. 

Pedro: Such grand work cannot all be done in one day.

Caballito: Yes.  Little by little.  It's the same with the happiness replacing your sadness. Once you have internal happiness, you will find complete happiness.  It's energy to energy, and hers was low.  We will have a good talk on Saturday.  Some spirit friends are confused, and we will clear that away.  I want to thank all of you for allowing me to do my work.  (to Pedro)  Your friend (spirit guide) is a friend of mine.  Speak to him.  He enjoys the work as much as I do.

Pedro: Very good.  Of course.

 

Spirit 10 (via Pedro):  Pedro wanted to extract a spirit from Mirelsa, and because he had not worked in a while, he asked Caballito to stay.  Pedro placed his hands tightly on each side of Mirelsa's head.  Next, he touched his forehead to hers, and the spirit moved away from Mirelsa and into Pedro.  Caballito mentally told Nelson that he would step aside, so Nelson could coach the spirit.

Spirit (slamming Pedro's glasses on the table):  I have suffered a lot!

Nelson: That is your suffering, not hers.  She was alone in a hospital, and now we want to help you avoid that same situation.  Your obsessions are yours, not hers. 

Spirit: I'm crazy.

Nelson: It's her birthday today, and it will be a birthday for you as well.

Junior: A celebration.

Spirit (to Junior): Sit down!  I will not speak with you!  (It was revealed that in a previous existence, Junior, Mirelsa's father, and this spirit were enemies.  Junior put the spirit on a horse, and then he kicked the animal.  When the horse reacted and became wild, the spirit fell off - but it did not kill him.  Junior kicked the body of the spirit down a steep hill, where he remained until his body was nothing but bones.) 

Nelson: You have also been causing problems for her mother (Rina).

Spirit: That's her child? 

Nelson: Yes.  there is a lot of love between them, and Mirelsa will not be abandoned if you leave. 

Spirit: Is it really her birthday today?  I don't have any friends in this life. 

Nelson: They are all around you.  They are the friends planning your celebration, in the spirit world.

Spirit: I'm dead?  A spirit?  What I was doing was wrong? They will only take me somewhere to clean me, there will not be any celebration. (pause)  I see they are bringing a horse for me.  I'll go with those friends.

Nelson: You will find happiness and so will she.  (nine spirits were removed)  Go completely.

 

Eva had a question.  When she was at the table, she felt the intense energy of the spirits, and she wondered why she could not pass spirits.  Nelson (speaking for Caballito) said, "Do you want the truth?  You need to clean your heart.  Let others in your family do what they want to do, and do not try to control their lives."

 

Spirit 11 (via Nydia):  The spirit of Norma arrived through Nydia to close out the session:

Spirit: My spirit is happy, but I am concerned over my daughter (Normita).  It's cause and effect (Normita was the caregiver for Carmen, and it was wearing her out).  I'm content to work, and I am happy in my heart.  (to Pedro)  It's no coincidence that you are here.  We were good friends in the material world.  Normita, my daughter, physically she is exhausted.  I'm worried.  It's important.  She has a large responsibility - it's the mission she chose.  Don't let her become sick in a bed next to the other one.  It's not been easy for her.  She can only give what she has, no more.  Continue the beautiful work.

 

Pedro had some questions relating to spiritism for Nelson.  It was ironic that Nelson, who was once the student, was now the teacher.  The group recited the closing prayer in unison.
